Kimber and Vance are a knock it out of the park team! After being turned down by others I was very leary in trusting any dealership. These two worked with me through text to get things all lined up so I could walk in test drive and sign! I love my 2020 Jeep Renegade!! Kimber has even pre planned options to refinance in the near future, I highly recommend this dealer ship and I will most definitely be back!!! These people truly care about their customers and it definitely shows!

I had a great experience with this dealership from start to finish. The staff ( Trey, Vance and Kim)was friendly, professional, and never pushy, which made the whole process stress-free. They took the time to answer all my questions honestly and made sure I felt comfortable with my decision. The pricing was fair, everything was clearly explained, and there were no surprise fees. The vehicle was exactly as described, clean, and ready to go. The paperwork process was smooth and efficient, and I was in and out quicker than expected. I really appreciated how respectful and transparent the team was — it’s rare to find a dealership that genuinely puts the customer first. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and easy car-buying experience.

Easy to work with. Everything went smooth. No pressure to buy a vehicle or warranties. Just laid out the facts and numbers and let me make my choices from there. Everyone has always been kind and helpful either with sales (I have purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership) or maintenance work. I’ve never left feeling ripped off.

Portage Ford was fantastic! Our first phone call connected us to Laura, who answered all our questions in a professional and informative matter. Next we received a call from Vance, who is extremely accommodating and had the car ready and waiting when we arrived. We drove two and a half hours to see the car we found through the website. We had two other dealerships on our list, and needless to say, we did not need to visit the others. Vance, Jay and the entire team at Portage Ford was accommodating and acted in a very professional matter. If we lived closer we patronize the dealership for all of our service needs based on our level of comfort we felt through our sales transaction. Obviously that is not an option, however we will keep the dealership in mind for future car needs, as well as the needs of our family and friends. A+ service!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a 2005 Ford F150 XLT that needed a new battery, fan motor and transmission checked out. What ensued was a month of the service advisor calling me once a week to tell me something else had broken that needed to be replaced in order to get the truck back to running. This went on for a month. We were beyond frustrated and couldn't seem to get in contact with anyone. Finally we decided to talk to a salesman that a family member had bought his truck from. My husband went in, talked with him and came home and said John is going to do everything he can to help us out. We knew we were going to have to get a new truck so my husband had mentioned a truck I had found on their website I was interested in. The next morning we got a call from John asking us to stop in for a chat. We got to the dealership and chatted with John. He eventually left to see what he could do. He came back with the GM, Adrian. We explained our frustrations and he explained things from his point of view. He asked us what we expected. We felt that we shouldn't be responsible for almost $4000 (give or take a few hundred) for a truck he told us was only worth $1500 trade-in value. He left us asking us to give him a few moments to check with several members of his team. When he came back, he offered to sell us the 2019 truck we were interested in and forgive the service debt. We looked at each other shocked. We couldn't believe what we heard. We had to have him repeat it. Yes, new truck and forgive our service debt and basically sign the old truck over to them. We couldn't express our thanks to either John or Adrian enough. We went home with our new truck and a frustrating service experience behind us. I would whole heatedly recommend Portage Ford as a place to go for buying a vehicle, but also for service. We have been going to Portage Ford (previously known as Hill Ford) for the past 20 years for service and this was our first and hopefully only bad experience. Thank you so much John and Adrian again!

I have extensive water damage due to liftgate leak ( at least it appears that way) and is rendered undriveable. The dealer has had it almost two months saying the can't have mechanical leak issue due to mold. Jeep parent company refuses to help and the dealer is not helpful. My service rep was helpful but when I went to manager to get jeep to reply to management he totally dropped the ball. It's a tough job to handle a lot of grumpy customers can take frustrations out of the service reps- I've lacked responses and and hope of that vehicle ever again. I feel 100% abandoned first by jeep and now by the dealer. If dealer steps up and address the issue with me I will post a better review. But at this time they've dropped the ball and seem to lack any suggestions or help.

I bought a 2020 Chevy Sonic from this lot 3 weeks ago and have had issues since day 1. The car makes a crackling sound when I turn left or right and runs rough. I have voiced my concerns before I even left the lot but kept being dismissed. Now I'm being told it will cost me a lot to have it checked out not to mention repairs if needed. I'm not happy with them at all as I feel they knew about issues when they sold it to me. I would definitely not recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership. I called to speak with the customer relations manager as mentioned in their response and was told they didn't know who that would be and there isn't anyone there by the name given. I definitely would not recommend this dealership.

The customer service reps and finance person is always up front and informative about buying or leasing a vehicle. I really appreciate Vance who helped me with my new vehicle and info that I needed clarification on. Along with Kim the finance lady who helped with the papers at the end. She also clarified with me about the protection plans that I needed to decide between. Ive got my last two vehicles at portage Ford and both times have had excellent service, along with routine maintenance appointments as well. Very kind and professional.

Bought a 2021 Dodge Durango from Portage CDJR July 2023. As a part of the purchase they were supposed to have a hitch, brake controller, and tow wiring installed. Couple years later the wiring is not working correctly. Take it to my local shop (I'm over an hour away) and they tell me the wiring was installed correctly and it's a fire hazard because the wiring is melting and the plug is all corroded because of the poor mounting location of the plug. Portage CDJR had contracted the work out to a place in Madison that clearly didn't know what they were doing. PCDJR made me drive the vehicle all the way down just to take pictures to send to this other place that I now have to take it back to to have them maybe fix it. Absolutely horrible customer service. I should have just gotten a check to have it fixed in town by my local shop and then the dispute between the two places could be on their end. Bottom line if you purchase a vehicle from PCDJR, do not have them do any additional service to the vehicle. If anything is needed as part of the deal just get money off the purchase price instead and take care of it yourself.

Although the staff was friendly and pretty thorough, whoever the mechanic was that misdiagnosed my truck cost me almost $500 to have assessed only to submit a claim to my warranty department that could not be proven needed to be replaced, my warranty company denied the claim because the mechanic recommended it so I paid to have it assessed, but they couldn’t prove that that part was broken so I basically paid to have it assessed for nothing, because nothing got fixed ….. Well, they did fix a simple clamp on a heat shield that was probably $.50 but unfortunately it still has a rattle. What I would suggest is asking them to do a simple inspection before paying almost $200 per hour for their Fees to assess something, that they may not be able to prove to your warranty company that even needs to be replaced Or you will end up like me and paying a lot of money for nothing, Had they’d Been absolutely sure 100% correct on what needed And could have been able to prove that to the warranty company I wouldn’t be writing this review and I would have a fixed truck

We were vacationing in the Portage area and our Ram truck started running rough. I called this dealership and even though they did not have any open appointments, they took us in. The service writer Mickayla Sell was the nicest service writer I have ever worked with, anywhere. She was so helpful, courteous and great at communicating. I can not say enough about her. She was wonderful. They were able to diagnose the problem and with in a few days the part came in and the truck fixed. Every person.at the dealership was amazing. I bought a car from this dealership just two weeks ago — paid full cash. They told me it was in “great shape.” That was a lie. Within days I noticed loud noises and handling issues. Turns out the struts and suspension parts were dead, possibly before the sale. I contacted them and offered to supply all parts myself — just needed them to install. They flat-out refused. No help, no responsibility. Not even a basic courtesy. This place will smile to your face, take your money, and disappear the moment you need support. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone. Shady, dishonest, and unprofessional. ⚠️ If you’re thinking about buying from here — don’t. Have a real mechanic inspect the car first. Don’t trust their word.

I’m so grateful to get the best service since the first time, I was looking for a new battery for my ford focus 2012, so, I didn’t know about options and Adam assisted me with some affordable options. In some hours I had my battery ready and also a oil change the same day! Was so fast! Thank You guys for support customers.

My experience with Portage Ford was great and I’d buy another vehicle from them in the future. They were respectful and polite on our first visit and when discussing sales and our purchase their communication was clear and respectful. Cameron was our salesman and he was not pushy or overbearing like some salesmen are. He had answers to questions that other dealers did not when asked. If he did not know he researched it and got back to us. In the future I’d buy another vehicle from Portage Ford. Thank you all for a great experience and the new vehicle.

We bought our vehicle here and the process was easy and stress free. We enjoyed working with Sawyer and felt well supported through the process. We also go there for maintenance, which is easy to schedule and the work is good. Loaners are available but not the day we went, however, there's a nice waiting area with coffee and television. Very happy with our purchase and with the customer service here.

Email sent to the dealership! Reported problem right away about a shake the truck had. I wanted to share my disappointment in the service center at your facility. Not standing behind the vehicle that was sold to me is truly disappointing. Getting shunned away for a problem that does not want to get dealt with at the service manager level is not acceptable. The vehicle has been in for service at different places four times for the same problem. In this email, I will attach proof of the problem that I had asked you guys to warranty. My recommendation at this point is the service manager should immediately be placed on a two week unpaid leave or terminated immediately. Per my previous messages, I spoke with Bridgestone directly regarding the tires. As I already relayed, they said that this needs to go to the dealer that sold me the vehicle. Which I tried to get scheduled with you guys and was turned away. I pleaded with one of the general managers at a tires plus to assist me with this nightmare of a problem, after a few days of phone calls back-and-forth they stated that the truck has to go back to the dealer. I informed them that the dealer has been turning me away and pleaded with them to try to assist me. The general manager of the tires plus agreed to take a look at my truck and talk with Bridgestone to see if they could figure out what the problem was. Today I spent three hours at the tires plus in an hour and a half talking with the general manager, upon road force testing of the tire and question it failed the road force test, and met the warranty qualifications for replacement according to Bridgestone,. They also checked the other three tires, and they were out of balance, the general manager was astounded by how much they were off and rebalance them. A simple thing, as in standing behind the product that you sell me, my hunch was correct all along that there was a bad tire, and it needed to be Road force tested to figure out the problem. I’ve attached the invoice from tires plus. Please take a look at it. I hope you share all of this information with the general manager of the store and implantations are put in place to take care of customers and stand behind the products Please also share with the general manager that I had already turned in paperwork from big Bear tire, stating that they had found a tire that was bad, but again still was turned away. Update The general manager at a tires plus helped me out with the shaking problem. This is what they noted. ALL FOUR TIRES HAD TO BE BALANCE , ALL FOUR TIRES HAD TO BE REPLACE UNDER WARRANTY DEFECT TIRES PS Melissa at your service center has been a pleasure to work with! I bought my first brand new truck and had the greatest service experience from Joe. He made the process less stressful and treated me like i was family more then just a sale. He made sure I understood all the features of the truck even after the sale was complete. He made sure i didnt leave without being 100% satisfied and comfortable with the vehicle and my experience with the purchase. He even made sure the next day that everything was going great.

Finding a Ford Raptor 37 package is very difficult without paying super high market adjustments. Portage Ford was fair in their pricing. Sales staff was helpful and friendly! Very smooth and easy buying process. Highly recommend.
