Purchase online with a credit card was issue free, had a representative follow up with a phone call within 30 minutes of placing the order to confirm the order and inform when the battery would be ready for pick up, nice customer service touch. Also, was able to give the contact information of a friend to pick the battery up at the store as I was unable to do so. Disappointment was when returning the core, friend was informed that they could only refund the core deposit in store with the card presented that was used for the purchase. So they can accept a phone or online payment for the purchase by credit card but will not credit the same card via a phone call for a $10 core return. Not understanding the thought process of that company policy. Will just purchase from a local Advance Auto next time.

Customer service is EXCEPTIONAL!! They are professional, amiable and knowledgeable. Two that stand out are Justin and Eric, both of whom provide impeccable service with wonderful attitudes!

I was there two times in 6 months to get the same two key fob's batteries changed now once again I have to have it changed they only last about 6 months it seems unless you pay over $20 and get a lifetime one makes no sense $50 for two key fobs!!!!!! so I'm not I never will be visiting them again I recommend you don't either I don't know about the other batteries I'm going to just do it myself thanks to youtube ....worthless batteries!!!!!

I had such a fantastic experience at Batteries Plus recently! I came in with a problem and was immediately greeted by a young man named Luke. From the very start, he was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. He took the time to really listen to what I needed, explained my options clearly, and never made me feel rushed. What stood out most was how patient and thorough Luke was—he went above and beyond to make sure I left with exactly what I needed and even gave me some helpful tips for the future. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. It’s rare to find that kind of customer service these days, but Luke truly delivered.

I had a battery replaced in a cellphone. The manager did the replacement, knowing that the battery would not fully charge because the problem was with the phone. Now I'm told that there is no refund, because it was considered a service. Well, in that case, the service was not completed because at pick up, the charge on the phone was only at 51% after one hour. I am due a refund of $95.39. I will continue to try to reach the Dist. Mgr. Andrew Dunn. This is poor customer service. ** I returned the cellphone to the store, and after 24 hours, the phone still was not working, and there was still no refund. It is apparently a business that is strictly about the money and not about customer service, and Mr Dunn is the owner, not the District Manager, as I was originally told. I am still waiting on a call to handle my problem.

I went to battery plus to get a replacement for my motorcycle battery. The clerk was very helpful in finding a battery for me. The battery cost less compared to the dealership, and he tested the battery before he sold it to me.

Programmed my key fob in less than 15 mins and had the key cut as well. Price was more than fair compared to others in the area and the dealerships forget about it. Go check them out.

Was just informed that the warranty service request for my online purchase of two batteries needed to be handled at the specific store I picked the batteries up from 2 years ago. While the other store is not far away, that doesn't seem accurate. Why would I purchase from a nationwide retailer if I will always have to return to the specific store I picked up from? I presented the order number and the order confirmation email.

Do not bring your business to Batteries Plus, especially if you're in the military and are gone for months at a time. 7 months of my trunk sitting, and a dead battery, this place tells me since the voltage is "to low" and cannot be charged, the 48 month warranty (which I am only 2.5 years into) is void. Garbage.

Outstanding customer service, very helpful and knowledgeable about the products! Better price points than the "Auto Parts Stores" which wasn't expected! Selection was better too! I know the name says Batteries but I think special batteries and didn't think about vehicle batteries. Once I walked in I realized they have more that 90% of the places I think of for car, truck, ATV, motorcycle, lawn and farm equipment batteries!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Ordered a battery online with no problem was great. Get call battery was ready for pickup, go to pickup. Walk in to store employee learning back on counter. The hole time there got a attitude that I was bothering him by giving him business. Been using this store for years, service has gone way down since Teresa, previous owner left this location.

I went to the Battery Plus store on Mercury Blvd Sunday afternoon expecting to have my charging port on my iPhone replaced as it was very difficult to charge it. I was greeted by Zachary who ask if he could look at it after explaining to him my issue. Within a very short time he brought it back to me and showed me the dirt he had removed from the charging port. The phone now charges beautifully. He also gave me a lesson on how to charge my phone. I’ve been doing it wrong all along. It was such a pleasure knowing that there good people out there who aren’t just out to make a sale. Due to Zackary’s professional and friendly assistance I will make many future purchases. Thank you Zachary. Steve H

Update:: Since filing complaint with corporate office same day, have never got a return call at all. From store management or corporate office. All I got to say is no “INTEGRITY “. Just went and purchased two more battery’s at Battery outlet on J Clyde. Outstanding service and at better price. Hampton battery plus used to have the best customer service hands down, until owner retired and got a new owner. Very poor customer service now. Ask questions and get very smart wise cracks like your bothering them. Called corporate office and let them know, don’t even get call back. Found a different battery store, and got same battery they where going to sell me for a lot lower price. Thanks they did me a favor. Never going back.

Bought a battery for my Harley Road Glide here back in April or May. Was having slow starts over the summer months but thought nothing of it since I wasnt riding it on a regular basis. Finally the battery gave up the ghost. Hit it with the battery tender and a trickle charger to no avail. Finally went to pull it out and the terminals were melted right off. Never seen that in my life. Took it in and they said since it was reading 12.7v that they couldn't replace it under warranty and I needed to buy a new one. It didnt work!? What do you mean you cant justify a warranty claim?! Never going back! Bought a new one from an auto parts store down the street.

Ordered a lawnmower battery online and received an email the same day stating it's ready for pickup. Went the next day with my core and was out of the store with my new battery in just about 5 minutes. Very efficient. Also, nice to save a little money ordering online.

I placed an order on line and received a subsequent email stating my order could be picked up at the local store. The web site gave the opening hour as 8 a.m. Upon arrival, I learned that, on Independance Day, the owner had changed the opening time to 9 a.m. The owner(?) was attending to an elderly customer and told my grudgingly that he would wait on me. When I asked about the web site vs his sign giving different opening hour, he (about 30 y.o.) called me "smarty pants", which I've not been called in 55 years. Once inside, he looked up my order and told me that he did not have the battery that I ordered, though the email said it was ready for pick up. He then tried to give me a cheaper battery of a type that I purposely did not order. I advised him that I had done my research and that I would not accept the offer. I was then accused of having a bad attitude. I received a refund for the battery they did not have and left with the item that I had ordered that was actually on hand. The correct response should have been, "Sir, I will track this problem down with the company. We've experienced it before. May I have your contact information so I can get back to you with a resolution. I'm sorry we did not meet your expectations. We value you as a customer."

Price was good, pickup was fine. On the phone they were reluctant to tell me they will install car battery. I asked about the free installation and he said "uh, well ... yeah, I guess we can put it in for you". I go to get battery at 7ish on a Friday and they say they won't install it, because "it's getting dark out & this area is kinda sketchy", then suggested I come back in the morning.
