I requested a simple record for my 2023 car accident — the tow-truck dispatch time. The man who answered was immediately disrespectful, told me to “get over it,” hung up on me, and even blocked my number. When I called back, he called me “crazy” and hung up again. Another employee eventually found the record on file, but still refused to release it at first. She said we had to pay, then changed her mind and wouldn’t provide it at all. This was basic documentation needed for an insurance appeal. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and hostile over a straightforward request. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone expecting respectful service or access to their own records. Update: Your reply avoids the only part of this situation that matters to anyone reading. Your staff located the record twice, refused to release it, told me to “get over it,” hung up on me, and blocked my number. When I called from another phone, I was called “crazy.” None of that appears in your explanation. And to clarify one last point: I specifically asked for the date and time of the tow. Your staff found that information twice, yet still refused to release it. Claiming I never asked for it simply doesn’t match what happened. This wasn’t a random request. It was for insurance documentation tied to a denied claim from a life-threatening accident. By law, I have five years to obtain records for reimbursement. That is why the document was needed. Your second staff member also found the same file, claimed we had to pay for it, then changed the story and still refused to release it even after the insurance agent confirmed they did not have it. The document existed — the issue was your employees choosing not to provide it. Whether the car was registered to me or to my parents (who bought it for me as a graduation gift) does not excuse the hang-ups, the blocking, the shifting explanations, or the refusal to release a record you clearly had. Your response simply avoids all of that. The lack of empathy, accountability, and professionalism shown in this situation is exactly why this review is here — so others understand the conduct they may encounter when they request documentation.

After going through a puddle i broke down right on Fox Hill road Crystall Ball (monty) was right behind me and we tried a few things however could not get my Pacifica going again, he offered to tow me to a safe place and I accepted, he dropped me off behind a closed Right Aid then refused to take any money as it was such a short tow, My next interaction occurred two weeks later when I needed to be towed from a repair facility to home after an estimate, unbeknownst to me I had accidentally engaged Crystal Ball towing to do the job which was accomplished very well. I then asked Crystal ball for a third tow of the van plus carriage of the replacement engine. both of which they (Jay) accomplished with skill and all of this back and forth was accomplished with the minimum of fuss at a very very reasonable cost and a high degree of professionalism I would thoroughly recommend Crystal Ball towing for all your needs, I have seen some reviews stating they are overpriced which is something i do not agree with in fact after comparing pricing with other companies I found the to be just a little below the median yet their equipment is top notch as is their quality of work and ethics

Crystal Ball Towing and Recovery, LLC went above and beyond when I needed help with my brother’s truck. From the moment I called, their professionalism and courtesy stood out. They arrived quickly, handled everything safely, and took the stress out of a tough situation. Monte was knowledgeable, respectful, and made sure we understood every step of the process. It’s rare to find a company that truly cares about people as much as their work, but Crystal Ball Towing does exactly that. I can’t recommend them highly enough—five stars all the way!

I would give 100 stars if I could. They helped an elderly family member today when his van broke down in the middle of traffic. The driver showed care and compassion and got my family member and his van back to the house safely and even blessed him with a special act of kindness which we will pay forward. I cannot thank you enough for being there in my family members time of need. Thank You!

This company charged me a total of $450.00 to pull me out of a ditch, which only took the tow person 8 minutes and 32 seconds to do. The only reason I got stuck in this ditch was because I was a good Samaritan and stopped to help a person who hit a cement pillar under the bridge after falling from the top side of the bridge. As a Service member who just got done helping someone, I was told you need to pay $450.00 to get your vehicle out of the ditch. After speaking with the owner, she stands firm on the company's charge, but ethically, this should be wrong. Doing a good deed when I could have just continued driving and charging a ridiculous price to get my vehicle out is horrible.

They saved me when I blew a tire in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve and found out my spare was flat too and wouldn't inflate! I thought I was going to be stranded there, but they got me towed 20 minutes after I called. I would absolutely recommend Crystal Ball Towing to anyone who finds themselves in an unfortunate situation and needs a tow. ♥️

The gentleman who was dispatched to tow my car was extremely polite and kind. He was there in the time he said he would be, quickly but accurately got my car hitched up and on its way. Highly recommend this confit you are in need of a tow.

Had a life is lifeing kinda day that had me out way past my bedtime. Roadside assistance paired me with this company and it was an awesome experience. They arrived way sooner than anticipated and from pull up, to pull away their driver Jay was quick, friendly and efficient. Despite my awful day he put me at ease immediately pulled out his handy dandy pocket jumper and I was otw home in less than 5 minutes after he pulled up!! Highly recommend their service if you need a tow, jump, or any thing else they offer. Thanks Jay!

Called them by mistake, instead of another company I knew. The Dispatcher (Marky?) was very friendly and knowledgeable so I decided to use them for a tow from Super Cuts (NN) to Southern Hyundai on Jefferson (NN). They were here quickly with a phone update. The Tow truck driver, Jay, was exceptional. Once again completely knowledgeable and professional and above all else seemed to be the happiest person I saw today. Great for customer service. Both guyz 5 Stars. Thanks, I'll be using you again !

My truck had some mechanical issues and they came and picked up the truck with a kind service. They towed my truck to the dealer and even sent me pictures of proof of delivery. That has never happened to me before. It’s great to know there still great business people out here! A++

Jay was an amazing driver and operator. He kept me updated on his ETA and tried troubleshooting what was wrong with my vehicle. This all happened around 9pm in the rain as well.

Very unprofessional tow truck driver ...cussing the f word a lot . He didn't even speak I had to iñiate conversation. Never called with a estimated time . Took 4 hrs to get here after I prepaid for the tow. I believe I was given this treatment due to a certain female in that office . Don't recommend this company at all unprofessional and rude . Stick with Burkes now that's a professional and on time company!

Horrible customer service! I called to get a car towed and wanted a quote. The guy replied “if you’re shopping around I’m not interested” and hung up. Little did he know I wanted to get it towed same day and I just needed a price. He hung up before I was even quoted a price! I didn’t bother to call back to let him know. I just rather the company lose out on money so I called another tow company who was a bit expensive but had EXCELLENT customer service. You should never hang up on a customer.

Jay showed up last night after being involved in a hit and run accident. Very nice guy, talked me through the process of what is going to happen. Today I go to clean out my car and Jay is there to open the car lot. He was very helpful and polite, great company with a great employee!

Knowledgeable drivers, quality equipment. However I asked for the vehicle to be towed same day, they said they could accommodate and failed to do so. Called the owner, and he ensured me it would be there by 8:00am the following day.

Had them tow a newly acquired ‘71 Fleetwood. Called them midday on a Sunday and they were courteous, prompt, and fair. They took great care with loading and unloading the vehicle. One never hopes to ‘need’ a tow, but I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

The first towing company our insurance company tried sending out for our flat cancelled really late at night. So we went out to change the tire ourselves when Crystal Ball was assigned. We cancelled, let them know we’d take care of it but they knew our car was in a really unsafe spot (off-ramp to the freeway). 10 mins after the phone call w Crystal Ball, and they showed up for us anyway. Very thankful for this caring company.

My insurance company called Crystal Ball after the first towing company did not have the gear or the skill to tow my car. Crystal Ball did a super job and displayed TONS of skill and experience. They communicated with me well and finished up with a photo of where they had left the car (because it was after hours) after discussing options with me. If I ever need a tow again I hope they are the ones! Highly recommended. Professional says it all!

I just wanted to say what an awesome company this is. This is the second time this month that we've had to use them. Both time, the driver and the dispatcher were very friendly, helpful and timely. The prices are very reasonable!!! They are just great to work with. They gave an accurate time and great service each time. My husband said, short of towing for himself, he wouldn't use any one but them!!!! This is the right choice.
