This company was truly one of the most genuine and helpful car-towing companies in the 757 and honestly, in the whole state of Virginia. The concern shown upon arrival contests no other company. I’ve been through much strife with my car because she’s an oldie but a goody. Been runnin since 2004 and that’s almost as old as my 3rd daughter! My car battery refuses to consistently run and at this point I believe it’s more of an electrical issue rather than the actual battery. Listen folks, all I’m trying to say is Virginia Towing & Roadside is more than just a car towing company. They are family to because of all the times they’ve come to the rescue and help me with my battery. I even have them saved as a custom contact in my phone! That’s how close we are.

I had a radiator pipe burst and sprayed coolant all over my engine which caused my car to smoke a lot. I called Virginia towing and roadside to come pick my car up and I was provided a quick, helpful and professional service. Although it wasn’t an ideal situation with my vehicle, this was one of the best towing experiences I’ve ever had. 10/10 service and I would definitely recommend!

It was late, cold, and raining when my car suddenly died on the side of the highway. My phone battery was at 12%, and every truck that passed rocked my car just enough to remind me how stuck I was. I remember sitting there thinking about how far I was from home and how I didn’t really have a backup plan.
I called roadside assistance, not expecting much besides a long wait. But within about 30 minutes, a tow truck pulled up behind me with bright flashing lights that instantly made me feel safer. The driver stepped out, calm and friendly, and the first thing he said was, “You’re good now.” That alone lowered my stress.
He checked my car, realized it was just a dead battery, and gave me a jump right there on the shoulder. While we waited for it to charge, we talked about school, work, and how many people forget to replace their batteries before winter. It turned a frustrating situation into a moment where I actually felt taken care of.
When my car finally started, I felt this huge wave of relief. What could’ve been a long, dangerous night turned into a quick fix because someone showed up when I needed help. Since then, I’ve kept jumper cables in my trunk—and a reminder that asking for help is sometimes the smartest move you can make.

Good fast service. Just make sure you confirm the tow before getting off of the phone with dispatch though! I was waiting for the tow for 30mins until I decided to call back and to get ETA to find out they weren’t even in route yet. But that was my fault. Nice guy that came out to tow my car. Wasn’t a prick like most tow truck drivers. Decent rates. Will definitely use again

Kaden and his boss Chuck , took care of me being stranded on I664 S around 1:30pm on a Thursday afternoon coming from the Hampton VA Medical Center.
My 2018 Nissan Rogue sport vehicle overheated possibly because of the radiator but Kaden went "beyond the call" of duty/ with excellent customer services to carefully get me and my SUV off of the scary busy Interstate.
After traffic slowed down, he and his tow truck escorted my vehicle to our home in the Churchland area of Portsmouth. Va.
I actually called for Allstate road side assistance, when I saw smoke andpulled over to the shoulder , and VDOT roadside assistance stopped to support my inoperable vehicle .
Allstate contracted a tow company who gave an estimated 90 minutes, and I became anxious, because of the growing chaotic traffic impacts on I664 S, (any workday of the month. )
Somehow the VA state police drone contacted " Virginia Towing & Roadside " to get off the left shoulder ( I had no choice to move into this shoulder )
I was "so happy" to see Kaden from "Virginia Towing" drive in front of my vehicle with his Tow truck and that reassured me that I would be safe .
He was instructed to secure my vehicle, drop me off at the nearest gas station which was the 7'11 on Jefferson Ave in Newport News VA, until traffic died down some.
Not only that, Kaden came back to escort my vehicle to our house 🏡, and arrived there before my husband and I.
My Thursday Nov 6,2025 was truly an ordeal forcing me to have patience, tolerance and humility.

This business is amazing first the dispatch knew exactly where to send a truck and he was very knowledgeable about my car. Second the driver got to me sooner than the eta I was given.
