Barney did an absolutely amazing black paint job on our client's restomod project (1970 Dodge Coronet). As a fellow shop owner, I highly recommend these guys for any high-end and custom paint work.
Barney is unethical and a thief. He had my vehicle for 6 years when I was promised 1 year. He said he had to pull my engine out but never provided a good reason. Turns out he swapped my engine which was working for another broken engine.
This shop MAY do fantastic work but I wouldn't know. Brought my car in for SCHEDULED estimate appointment and the one person in charge of doing them wasn't there. After a waiting 20 mins, I gave up and left. Total waste of time. Probably for the best anyways. The shop is jammed full of 1960s relics, most stripped down to the frame with spare parts tossed inside. Very cool to look at while I was forced to wait but I just wanted a simple collision repair on a late model car. I think dealing with this place for something so pedestrian is not worth the time and aggravation. I will give them 3 stars only because I can't really comment on their work.
I brought my car in for paint transfer on the bumper, along with a couple of areas where the bumper was exposed through the paint. I feel that the price and service were exceptional. The problem area of the bumper looks like new. It was all completed while I waited on the couch in the waiting room. Great attitudes, and courteous service.
The only place we take our vehicles to have any body work done, Barney is great to deal with. We've taken our cars there 3 times and been pleased every time.

Absolutely the best and most honest mechanic I've met in the Locust area. Always reliable and good pricing compared to others. Barnie , the owner, is great guy too. Very happy with my car!!
