I just bought my 2008 BMW 335i from Scott's Auto Wholesale and I am so happy!!! I had just gone car shopping with my Mom a few weeks before and we ended up at another very well known big time used car dealer. Although they were professional, I did not appreciate the agressive sales tactics and over pricing of cars.
From the second I walked on the lot at Scott's I noticed that they had all the prices listed on the cars and that they were almost always below the Blue Book unless the car was just in really good shape, and many of them were! You can tell they take their time getting the cars ready, and they even have a little 3-month 3000 mile warranty on each one for peace of mind.
But really what I liked the most was that my sales lady, Janeane, she was very down-to-earth and the whole time I felt like I was being dealt with honestly. I highly recommend!!!
This was a great place to work with. Came in looking for a truck for our son, found one, test drive it, and got paperwork done fairly quickly. Scott worked with us on some things we had problems/questions on and was on top of everything. Processing the paperwork was easy. She explained everything and made it easy. Would definitely come back again.
Our 2nd Car died & it wasn't worth it to get it fixed, so I started looking for a good used Car. I went to 5 different places and had my mechanic Tommy's Automotive check out 4 of them. I would have had 5 checked out except one Saturday I went to Tommy's and was waiting for the saleman to show up with the car. Tommy looked it up on internet and the price had increased $2, 400 since I looked at it. I called salesman and asked him how much they were asking for it and when he quoted the price I told him to forget it and don't bother coming down. I will not deal with a crocked business like that.
Any way the last car the mechanic checked out was a Blue 2009 Nissan Sentra with less than 114,000 miles on it. Front structs needed to be replaced, tires were worn, a couple minor things. I took report back to Scott's and he replaced both structs with a $500 deposit going towards the sale price which wasn't increased from what was advertised which was $5, 500.
I went to pickup car & looked underneath the wheel wells and new structs were installed. Total Price $6097 which included processing fee which was much lower than other dealers I went to and sales tax. I love the car & will be getting new tire & and alignment. If looking for a quality used car you can't do better than Scott's Wholesale, nice people to do business with.
It was quick and easy buying a car here! Searched online for a coupe with a manual. When it popped up, knew I had to get it. They were very responsive with calls and texts. I'm coming from Maryland. They even stayed open late for us! Would recommend buying here.
Just purchased a car from them today and it was perhaps the smoothest and easiest purchase I ever made from a private owned dealership. I was in communication with Jenean for a week about a car they had on their lot and she made things super simple and easy once I got there.
Would not buy a car from there,ever again! Would not allow us to take the car and have it checked out by our mechanic, my so trusted her, and guess what it need over $3,000 in repairs, she said not her problem

I bought my vehicle 6 months ago. The steering was extremely bad; when me and my grandfather test drove it we were putting one hand under the other just to turn a little bit. Janean took the car to their auto guy in Fredericksburg and they said there was NOTHING WRONG WITH IT, IT WAS JUST THE FLUID NOT BEING THE EXACT BRAND. Sure, the Nissan fluid eased up the steering some, and come to find out 6 months later of having this car, the steering pump has been leaking extremely bad and SHOULD NOT HAVE PASSED INSPECTION. Even better, on the first day I had the damn vehicle, the check engine light came on! Took it to get checked: catalytic converter busted, driver side exhaust not working, and 10 different leaks! Took over a week to get fixed! I refilled my power steering fluid every other month since then, and then my car started squeaking really bad, brake and battery light come on and off (I just spent 200 bucks for 2 guys to take an hour to replace the battery, so that's new), and of course my steering to get checked. And now it is spending 2 weeks in the shop AGAIN because the wheel bearing was close to snapping and the alternator needs replaced! Oh, there was also a puddle that kept forming where my spare tire is when we were looking at the car. Janean SAID THAT WAS DRIED UP AND FIXED WHEN WE BOUGHT IT. It's September, when all the really bad thunderstorms were coming by. I had literal waterfalls in the back of my car! Coming from the driver AND passenger side of the trunk door! Turned out, when the vehicle got into an accident up in New York, it wasn't fixed right, and the seal on the car was cracked! 100 bucks to get it resealed! Our total LOSS TODAY: over $10,000! Oh! After having the car for a week, I noticed none of my doors were locking AT ALL. I don't think any of the doors ever locked since I'd had it! Took it to this place's mechanic, and he broke the door! Sure, all my doors locked now, but along with this weird noise when I locked them, my window on the passenger front would not go auto up/down! Both front windows were power windows; UP AND DOWN. When I got the leak fixed, the place I went to was nice enough to fix the fuse in the door. Scott's mechanic even said he did not want to see my vehicle EVER again! We bought a trashcan on wheels from this place, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANOTHER FROM THIS PLACE. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF!
Now, the buying process was easy, but the buying AS IS is what got us! We did get everything the day of and Janean was really nice. She dropped the price on the vehicle for us: it's a 2009 Nissan Murano originally at 6800 or so and we bought it for 64. All in all, I still would not recommend buying a car from them, because the mechanic doesn't seem to know how to work with cars! Not to mention how hard it is to find the guy and how dishoveled the place looks! AT LEAST get the vehicle inspected at YOUR TRUSTED MECHANIC BEFORE YOU BUY!
Janine at Scott’s Auto was so great! Hands down the easiest car buying experience we have had. It is not your typical experience that most of us have had at car dealerships. The vehicle has been great and no problems. Will refer family and friends to them!

I recently purchased a vehicle from Scott and had a great experience! I needed a commuter car since I work in northern Virginia. With Scott's vast knowledge and his customer tailored recommendations we were able to narrow it down to one of the Civics he had on his lot. Scott wasn't pushy and allowed me time to think about it before I was to purchase anything. The next day I came in and we finished up the deal! I drove off in a highly reliable Honda Civic I would highly recommend Scott's to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle!
I recently purchased my car from Scott and I absolutely loved the experience, not to mention I'm very happy with my car. Before I was referred to Scott by a friend, I had gone to a couple other dealerships and those experiences were horrible. I'm not the type of person to be pushed into something I don't feel 100% sure about for instance settling for a car I'm not happy with which is what I experienced at the other dealerships. With Scott, he didn't push me to choose a car I wasn't interested in or even buy one that day. He was honest and very informative about the different vehicles I was looking at and he even had a couple other suggestions that would better suit me. He worked with me and my budget to help me find the car that best suits me and my needs right now.
This is also a review. My wife and I bought a vehicle from Scott's Auto. We actually talked directly with Scott. This guy is a helluva a salesman. He could sell ice to an Eskimo. He replaces parts on his vehicles with parts from a junkyard. He told me that himself. We bought a vehicle we saw listed on his FB page as an 07. It was actually an 06. It was listed as wholesale but was actually high retail. Yes that part was my fault. He took around $8500 after tags and taxes from us knowing that this vehicle had problems. He will do the minimum to get it sold. Good luck to anyone who buys from him. My suggestion is to go over it with a fine tooth comb before giving any money or trades. Can't judge a book by it's cover.
