Amazing service all around. We had a window broken on an early 2000 BMW during the big snow storm. The glass is somewhat rare and the storm was creating a lot of logistics issues. Dany was great at keeping me up to date and working to get the window fixed as soon as possible. Even though the logistics weren’t any fault of theirs, they still gave me a discount for it taking longer than normal. Outstanding customer service and the install job was top notch. Highly recommend.
Dany of Chapin Auto Glass was outstanding to deal with in replacing my windshield, which was cracked by ice in the recent storm. He was exceptionally responsive and informative and helped find the best option for me. He explained everything really well and answered all my questions right away. The technicians came right on time and worked efficiently to install the new windshield, even though working conditions were cold and difficult on my partially frozen driveway. Great experience. I drive a VW Tiguan and shattered my sunroof, not a piece of glass anyone has on hand. Dany gave me an estimated date of install but kept in regular contact about progress and shipping updates. The technician who came out was wonderful. All around great experience for having to fix a pretty painful mistake.
In December 2024, some vandals broke into my year 2000 Grand Caravan that was parked in my driveway. They broke in overnight by popping the rear passenger quarter panel window off its closure, leaving it flapping in the breeze. They crawled into the van through the window, searched around, tossed everything around and left through the very same window. I found the damage the next morning.
This was during a terribly cold time. I had difficulty covering the window with plastic and taping it down – the duct tape was not made for this kind of cold weather. I finally managed to get the window covered and reported the damage to my insurance company. Because it was a glass repair, I was immediately transferred to the company that oversees the glass repairs for (probably) all insurance companies.
This company was not a pleasure to work with and after several fruitless interactions, I was ready to be done with them. They were unable to locate the proper glass for the repair; the management was rude and difficult and so I finally contacted my insurance company’s adjuster on my case and explained what had happened. I was assured that I did not have to use this company. He also told me that the claim would remain open until the glass was properly replaced.
I researched local auto glass repair companies and fortunately for me was able to locate a local auto glass company – Chapin Auto Glass. Dany of Chapin Auto Glass was wonderful, efficient, knowledgeable, engaged and supportive. It took many months, a lot of trial and error but Dany finally managed what the other company could not and he did it with a pleasant and helpful attitude. In October of this year (2025) he finally found a complete window set up from a similar van in an auto junkyard. The fit was perfect and the job completed by a highly skilled technician, in my own driveway. The price was right as well and Dany made sure to provide a proper invoice that I could send to my adjuster for reimbursement (minus my deductible of course).
Hopefully, I will never have another glass issue with any vehicle I own, but, if I do, there is only one company I will contact, Chapin Auto Glass. I have alerted my adjuster and insurance company and provided them all the contact information for Chapin Auto Glass and asked that they keep the company information on file so they can recommend this company to others in my area that have need of a reliable, dedicated and efficient auto glass replacement company.

This team is great! I got a quote on Yelp within a day and it was extremely competitive in pricing. Setup an appointment the same day and a team member drove to my home to install the new windshield. Everything was taken care of within the hour and it looks perfect. Highly recommend this crew for any and all glass repairs!
Excellent and very timely service! I called just before 5pm on a Friday and they were out Sat morning to replace the windshield. No fuss or bother--they handled it quickly and professionally. Couldn't have been easier or gone more smoothly!

Needed a full windshield replacement, figured I would call several local companies (anything other than safelite), get quotes and go with the lowest price. I called Chapin first and talked to Dany who offered greater detail to everything I asked, he actually offered so much knowledge that I started fact checking against reddit posts and online articles (everything he said lined up). I didn't even bother calling anyone else, the price was comparable to online research and I decided I would rather do business with someone straight forward and knowledgeable rather than trying to find cheaper.
On the day of installation they gave me a range of time the technician would be there, there was a slight delay but they were upfront about it. I was a little picky about which non-oem brand glass was going to be used, they made sure to get the right one and provide proof. Installer had it in within 45 minutes, all the weatherstripping was reinstalled nicely. They gave me a warranty on their install and good instruction on what to do if the replacement leaks, has any issues, or if I had any more questions. Also, they gave a professional invoice that I can send to the insurance company. All-in-all it was very comforting to have my many questions answered and one less thing to worry about.
