ZERO STARS!!! This was single-handedly the worst experience with a dealership in my life. I had to have my car towed to this dealership and was charged $600 total and $420 of it was battery and labor. I kept asking for help and a discount as I have only ever taken my car Malloy where I know the people who work there. I have 3000 miles left on my current oil change and works service but since they saw I did a recall at Bill Page in 2022 they assumed I hadn’t had service since then (despite the glaring sticker on my windshield) sending me “critical” fluids and air filters. They knew they had me with the battery but didn’t offer any empathy or discount or patience, Mihal was curt and insanely rude and Christian said he’d email the director and cc me but didn’t. No one pulled my car up for me and this piece that they took off my console is missing. I texted them, they didn’t respond. I will be calling the GM because it was disgusting at how much I was taken advantage of. I asked them if this was their daughter or sister or mother how would they feel and Christian literally said “that’s none of my concern!” They were all laughing at my disappointment and they left my car dirty and parked behind a car despite having scheduled a pickup. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Sometimes it’s just good to do the right thing and care for someone rather than to take advantage of their dire situation. I haven’t written a disgusted review in at least a decade - I have never been treated with such disregard and disrespect. Moral of the story…go somewhere else - literally any dealership will treat you with more respect.

My vehicle was serviced at Koons Arlington Toyota on December 19, and I also purchased ToyotaCare Plus expecting professional service and accountability. Immediately after picking up my car, I heard a noise and discovered a large screw/bolt embedded deep in my tire. This damage was not present before service and clearly occurred while my vehicle was in your care. I have clear photos as proof. I reported the issue the same day. On December 20, I returned requesting a simple tire repair. Despite having an appointment and paying for ToyotaCare Plus, I was told nothing could be done and that I must return Monday or another day. When I asked if I would still have to wait three hours for the repair, the answer was YES. The staff told me it would take two to three hours, but I suggested and requested that since it was a small issue, I could wait about 30 minutes if they could do it. This request was refused. I want to note that I have been a loyal Koons customer for several years and have generally found many staff members helpful. However, this experience shows no accountability, poor management, and total disregard for customer time and safety. Waiting hours for oil changes or full maintenance makes sense, but waiting three hours for a 10–20 minute tire repair caused during your service is unacceptable. If appointments still require hours of waiting, then appointments are meaningless, and ToyotaCare Plus clearly provides no real priority or benefit. Extremely disappointing from an authorized Toyota service center.

I’ve been bringing my camry here since i’ve bought it here for car services. i don’t plan to go elsewhere. everyone is nice and honest with what the car needs. nobody has tried to scam me.

David and Jason left my 2025 Corolla LE like New. Left the car for a ToyotaCare service and inspection, Toyota oil, oil Filter and Tire rotation. Feels super smooth. Inside the Service Center they treated me really nice and welcoming. Thank you so much ?

Great experience, I actually mixed up my appointment day. Despite that mix up they were still able to fit me in and complete my service in a timely manner. Friendly and polite, service performed as expected.

My experience was excellent. Oscar, my rep, helped me assess required work (I had failed safety inspection), gather accurate cost estimates, and plan for the work. Automated tools were useful and easy to use. Work completed as planned. Thank you Oscar!

This is my third visit. However this time was a bit disappointing, I went for regular service, change oil, tire rotation. And as per sticker on my vehicle battery, tires, and breaks check and good (assuming the green tick), the following day I opened up the hood to find dirty surfaces, and battery corrosion, which is not cleaned and not mentioned on the report/receipt.

I brought our 2023 Corolla in to Arlington Koons Toyota to fix the under engine cover, which had broken in half while driving on I-395 in a rain storm. It was dragging under left driver seat making a racket. After leaving it there overnight i was told we could order a new part for over $500, or they could attach it up so i could drive it. After picking the car up and driving 1/4 of a mile it fell and dragged again. I tried to price the part on line and could find none anywhere remotely near $500. Furthermore, before driving to the Alexandria Koons dealer where i was told they did not provide loaners, but rentals. i then called the Arlington store, where it was originally bought it, and asked if they provided loaners. I was told Yes. The only rentals Arlington Koons had was $88 a day. Outrageous. Next time I'll go to a repair shop that i can trust

We were traveling through Arlington on the way to DC on a Friday. We hit a tire retread. It caused a bunch of warning lights to go on. Koons got me in right away and took care of my problem. They were honest and did not try to rip me off. They just presented the options. Mario was my advisor. Too bad I don't live in the DMV, they would get all my business.

I took my 2003 Camry in for a six-month oil change, emission inspection, and general checkup while I waited. Oscar came out to tell me that he suggested the brake fluid should be exchanged and the tires should be balanced. My 22-year old Camry has only 40,000 miles on it, so I cannot use Toyota's recommended servicing timelines. Rather, Oscar keeps my car safe and running by recommending what the car actually needs. A few hours after I arrived, everything was completed and I took my happy car home.

I purchased a vehicle from Koons Arlington Toyota, and it failed the Maryland inspection. Jeffrey my Salesman contacted the service department to ensure this was taken care of properly. I received a loaner vehicle and worked with Mario Sandoval. The vehicle was ready in two days and received a passing inspection score! Thank you Arlington Toyota Team!

I bought the car in the spring. I took it in for 5K service. Service rep was very friendly. They took half the time they said they needed. Why not, Toyotas are great! But I was annoyed that I had to clear out their trash and the seat was not reset. I couldn’t reach the peddles to start the car. They must have extra tall people driving cars around.

I recently had Koons perform a 100,000 mile check-up and service on my Toyota. When I dropped off my car, I was able to speak to a knowledgeable service technician who answered various questions and suggested the appropriate work. My car was ready at the promised time. Everyone I encountered was friendly and professional. I would recommend Koons for anyone needing service for a Toyota.

Very satisfied with the service at Koons Arlington Toyota. The staff is very friendly, and the overall atmosphere and environment are of high quality—especially the free coffee service and the comfortable waiting area. What I appreciate the most is their ethics and professionalism: they never recommend unnecessary repairs. Instead, they only suggest maintenance when it is truly needed, and that gives me a lot of trust. I am especially satisfied with the courtesy and kindness of Oscar.

Overall, a good experience. 1) Don't trust their AI appointment system. They booked me then, an hour after I got a cancellation notification, as they were overbooked. 2) At the time of payment, no explanation of the system's status or items to look out for. No personal touch other than here is your bill, and thank you, have a great day.

Christian Gudiel was exceptional in every way necessary when it came to my vehicle being serviced. He went above and beyond to make sure that my car was taken care of, handling calls and monitoring the situation, informing me as much as possible. The customer service Christian provided was outstanding, and he demonstrated professionalism at all times. The issues my vehicle had were resolved, all thanks to the dedication Christian had in ensuring that I was handed my car back in optimal conditions. Thank you kindly!

My experience here was pretty bad. My 2010 4Runner kept dying despite having 3 new batteries, an alternator, and serpentine belt replaced (at another mechanic). I took my car here assuming a Toyota dealer would have the best insight. After recharging the battery, they kept my car for four weeks and said they were able to start it up every day with no issue. I ultimately decided to pick it up today and explore other options. Upon arriving to pick up my car, I was told the battery was completely dead and they had to jump start it. I told the representative that was the exact reason my car had been there for the last four weeks and he shrugged it off and told me to have a good day. I ended up bringing my car to a local mechanic, and they immediately identified a parasitic drain coming from the battery.

Christian is truly a gem. My mom needed a ride back to Toyota and he arranged it immediately. Our entire correspondence was seamless, precise, professional and top notch service. He explained everything thoroughly about all the car issues my mom was having. We would def recommend him and in the future, we hope to work with him.

Car was damaged by their employee backing into another car. Received maybe 1 apology for this. Got a false text message about what I owed and was gaslit by an employee that swore the message wasn’t sent. Later on received a message that the first message was an accident. Next shuttle service requested never came so I called them and they had accidentally gone to DC instead of my home (but never called me to tell me). They have no rental car for me to use so my car has no timeline on when it will be fixed. I didn’t get an apology or any updates when I picked up my car. What is this service!! I will never go here again after they fix the hole in my car. Addendum: Arlington Koons did a great job fixing the car, providing a rental, and acknowledging their mistake in the matter.

This Service department damaged 2 wheels on my 2023 Toyota 4Runner 40th Anniversary after oil service and tire rotation. Oscar was unprofessional in handling this and made some sad accusations of our claims and said we were “nitpicking”. He also had us waiting 30 minutes without notifying us that the car was ready. We will now schedule service with my local Toyota service department to confirm if work was completed as expected. Still waiting for the service manager to contact us to discuss. Props to Mario for taking over due to Oscar’s unprofessional attitude towards the both of us. Pictures of damage coming soon.

Toyota at Arlington VA 6 months chk up mileage slightly over 45,000 miles 2015 Toyota Corona Arrived at 7 am vehicle taken in shortly thereafter for serving. Was advised in detail what would be checked and approximate timeframe for work. Discount sheet I previously received reviewed and agreed to. I authorized work to be done. Person very detailed in explaining to me and kept hearing him do same with other customers. He was impressive. Hope Toyota Co Management appreciate his excellent work with Customers. Offered coffee which was very good. Received progress reports. Cost to me after completion was fine. I appreciated all hard work to be sure I was satisfied. Paula Heien

I do not recommend getting your car serviced by Koons Toyota Service Center. Quick summary: - failed to actually rotate tires - failed to actually service my car the first time around - were over two hours late returning my car - waste of my time and energy to work with them Hopefully this review will save you your time and energy. Overall experience: While the people I interacted with during my experience were generally kind, the service experience failed on several dimensions. I will describe each failure: 1. My original appointment was Saturday at 12:30. I dropped off my car, checked in with the service advisor and they told me that I would get a call or text when my vehicle was ready. I went to the mall to kill time and all the sudden it was 5pm, no call or text. I went back to the dealership at 5:30 to check on the status. It turned out that my car had been sitting in the lot all day and no one touched it. I wish I decided to end my engagement at that and find another place but I decided to give them another chance. I spoke to the manager and she promised to make up for their mistake. I scheduled for my car to be picked up at 8:45am on Tuesday. The pick up service was right on time and they were nice. This is where Koons earned there one star in my rating. Note - prior to the pick up I placed a white piece of tape on the driver side rear wheel. 2. The next failure happened with the overall maintenance of my car. I was scheduled for routine maintenance - oil change, tire rotation, the basics. I also asked them to check my brakes. When my car was delivered, the white piece of tape that I put on the tire was in the same position on my car - drivers side rear door. They failed to rotate my tire so now I question all the other services that they were supposed to do and that I paid for. Apparently, this is a car baby sitting service? 3. The next failure was the timing of the delivery. When I received a call from the service advisor they asked me what time I would like my car delivered, I asked if 3:30 would work and they said it would. But, I needed to submit my payment prior to delivery. They sent the invoice at 2:51 and I promptly paid. I received a text at 4:30 stating that my car would be delivered at 4:55. The car showed up at 5:45. Over two hours late than the original agreed upon time and almost and hour past the revised delivery time. I hope Koons is able to fix these issues going forward. They are nice people like I mentioned, but I question the integrity and accountability of their service. Also added proof of my white tape…
