Excellent service, great staff, got my inspection done amazingly.

Well done! I dropped off my car around 8:30 am today and got my emissions testing done by 10:05 am. They do well with getting things done on your car quickly.

I’ve started going here when I moved to the area 2 years ago having 3 older cars. They are honest, have friendly staff, quality work, quick turnaround and reasonable pricing. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Always impressed with these folks, finally taking time to acknowledge! Not sure how they survive in an age where everyone is just in it for the almighty dollar and garages are always looking to take advantage of their customers. Not Cherrydale! They seem to be customer focused and old school! They get the job done and their prices are respectable.

Simply top tier service. Reasonable prices, quick turnaround, and they are honest and only charge you for real issues. One time they initially quoted me to replace my alternator but after going in they found it was just some rodent chewed wires so they only took care of that. Some other shops would’ve just charged me at the original high price and never told me it was just some wires. They’ve even filled up the air on my tires and consulted on basic questions for free - I feel like they really just want to take care of their customers and customers cars. So lucky to have these guys in the neighborhood.

Excellent service, reasonable pricing, and quick turnaround. I've used them multiple times anywhere from safety/emissions inspections, maintenance, and repairs. Always reliable and procesional - highly recommend! EDIT 4/4/25: I always come back to Cherydale no matter how many other shops I use (for faster turnaround usually due to less customers). Even though I overstated the turnaround, which is slower sometimes only due to too many customers or complicated repairs, I still always experience superior auto care and customer service from Cherydale (compared to over 7 other shops I've used in 15 years).

Trustworthy and reliable. I took my car here for several years and they gave me reliable advice, the inspections only turned up actual issues, and they got me in and out on time.

2011 Cadillac CTS-V (550hp muscle car) . Cadillac dealer wrote up an egregious 30K estimate for repairs.. They simply lied and tried to get me to replace every part imaginable. Took it to a "performance shop" in Springfield specializing in American muscle cars... their estimate was for 10k. I looked over their estimate and they piggy backed labor that overlapped due to the parts being replaced have to come out together... They tried to sell me unnecessary items as well and then tried to double charge for the labor... Thieves. I was an ASE and BMW certified tech for 8 years in the 90s. I knew exactly what my car needed and informed both of these two shops when I paid them each for the inspection and write up and they STILL tried to steal from me as they're so used to doing it, they cant STOP! Cherrydale: Honest, upfront and did the job as promised. They did not try to sell a single item that wasn't needed. They did an OUTSTANDING job on my car! My vehicle is back in great shape and handles like new again. I had Magna Ride struts installed all the way around, leaking water pump replaced and a few smaller items corrected. My car runs like new again! These guys reminded me of how I worked on cars in the 90s... with honesty, integrity, and with quality results for each customer as the goal. I couldn't be happier with the results and they now have a new customer that will only go to them. Thank you Cherrydale Motors!

First time walk up customer for a worn out catalytic converter - they got me in, had a diagnosis and estimate out the same day, worked with me on my preferred parts, and I had the truck back next day - for a fair price and to the same standard of work I'd expect of my own work. I'm a hobbyist mechanic and don't often ask professional shops work on my vehicles, but they've definitely earned a repeat customer.

I've been a customer for several years. Always great service. But today was especially helpful. I dropped by to get state and emissions inspections completed as well as have the front bumper secured. Everything was done within an hour - with the bumper done on the house. That's not the first time they've done something like that. Very much appreciated.

I am so glad we brought our Honda to have work done at Cherrydale Motors! Tom was professional and knowledgeable. After dealing with him I dont know why we would take our car anywhere else. Big shout out to the whole team, the car is running better then ever!

This place is overrated. Very expensive yet dismissive of customers. I called in and came here when I noticed a problem with my steering. To explain the 1-star rating: 1) The shop took an unnecessarily long time to complete repairs because they do not take appointments and operate under “first come first served” policy. What should have been a one-day repair left me without a car for two days because they didn’t look at my car until the end of the day after I brought my car in first thing in the morning. 2) Labor costs were exorbitant (triple the cost of the part). Why? They refused to explain when I asked. 3) The shop representative who was there when I picked up my car was either clueless or careless. They ended up fixing another issue with my car (that the guy didn’t explain well even when I asked) and not the steering. When I picked up my car, he admitted the shop did not thoroughly check the steering problem and just brushed it off by saying, “it’s working now.” I’m not sure if the poor customer service was because I’m a woman or they are just interested in money grabbing and look down on all customers, but I won’t be back and can’t recommend it.

Very easy to get my Tesla Safety Inspection. I called over a few times and drove over as soon as it sounded like it wasn't too busy. I pulled up, checked-in and walked out in about 30 minutes total time. Everyone was very nice and friendly. I would recommend Cherrydale Motors.

Always friendly and efficient service. They’re very honest and provide great care. I’ve had a few different cars over the years and have always gotten consistent service. I’ll be bringing all my vehicles here for as long as I’m in the area.

Just off of 66, Cherrydale Motors is my go-to place for auto repairs. The Mechanic are good at what they do! The price are average ! My husband been going there for years and I understand why this place don't play games they get the job done.

Wade and co. are simply the best. My family has been coming to Cherrydale Motors for what seems like my entire life. Prices can’t be beat. Turnaround time for quick fixes is normally ~24 hours, max. Longer fixes get diagnosed quickly and they call you once they uncover the issue. As a lifetime Arlington resident, I recommend CMotors to all of my coworkers and college friends. They’ve never regretted it.

Very honest and trustworthy. They have performed service on my car for the past few years and I have found their prices to be good and work to be excellent. But the honesty is what keeps me coming back. They have told me when I didn't need to do certain things, or when I could hold off on certain repairs. If they couldn't find what was causing a problem, they didn't try random fixes like some other places do. They kept working at it, or had me bring it back when the problem arose again. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an honest auto mechanic.

I came in needing a state inspection. With a lot full of cars, I made the incorrect assumption that they wouldn’t be able to get to my car within a few days. They smiled and said to pull on up and they’d work on mine next. I was in and out within 30 minutes for a state inspection and emissions test. While I was waiting outside, a mechanic came out and brought me a foldable chair! All around fantastic service. Highly recommend them.

I needed to get my car inspected as a new resident of Arlington. The first place I tried to go to not far away had terrible service and didn’t want to help me at all. I decided to just go somewhere else. I found these guys online and had great reviews. Stopped by and waited to get my car inspected, had such a great time. It was smooth and easy, best of all the staff were super nice and knowledgeable. Will definitely get all my car care business while I’m in Arlington. The guys that helped me with my car were amazing and super cool!

These guys are the best. They are quick, friendly and most importantly HONEST. I went to Mr. Tire on Lee Highway to get new tires and they insisted that I must get new brake pads for a "deal" of $250. Came in for an inspection today at Cherrydale Motors and surprise surprise I do not need new brake pads. Great service!!

These guys are straight-shooters. I went in with an engine overheating problem, coolant leaking. They could have effed me for a busted head gasket (over $1k parts and labor) but found the true problem (much cheaper). They called me and told me what was going on and asked for the OK to go ahead and fix it. I had the car back in 3 days. On a separate occasion I also had an electrical problem a few months ago. Brought the car in and gave a description. Started walking home, I got about 3 blocks before they called me back saying the problem was very small, a burned-out wiring harness or something. They had the part on-hand so they told me to come back. By the time I got there it had already been fixed, no charge because it was so easy. I tipped the guy $10 anyway as a show of good faith. Edit: Years later I moved away and haven't found a better mechanic shop since.

Great experience here! I can't thank them enough! I had failed my inspection at another garage and the they tried to sell me what would have cost 350 dollars after parts and labor, for a simple fix. I took my car to Cherrydale Motors, they were polite and friendly. They made the repair which they said was easy and they didn't charge me a dime! I was able to pass inspection no problem. Real genuine honest folks working here. I will go back with any future problems and you should too!

Excellent experience getting my leaky tire repaired. After a quick call they we're able to squeeze me in even though it was obvious they were very busy. They quickly identified the problem and repaired the tire with no up-sell pressure. Couldn't complain about the $20 price tag either. I think they've just found a new regular customer.
