I had initially called just to get my truck, towed to my “usual”mechanic” I told him what issues my truck was having. He offered me a reasonable price, plus a discount on towing. The experience was phenomenal and I haven’t used another mechanic since! If your in a bind give them a chance!
Came to the rescue. Initially j hooks towing was dispatched which resulted with a no show. Insurance company assigned Sanford amy towing Corpus Christi. Sanford quickly came to the rescue within 20 min. I highly recommend this towing service if needed in the corpus area.
I normally like to use small, locally owned companies like this one when I can. Here's my experience:
1) The owner was able to get my broken-down vehicle towed quickly, which was great, but the price ended up being higher than other tow companies I called later.
2) His bid for repairing my vehicle in his very small shop came in at 30% to 40% higher than the large, well established auto repair shop where I ended up getting it towed for the repair.
So the towing was quick, but the prices were high.
Would not recommend this shop. Long story short, if they see you don't know they will high price you, and please test drive before you leave, because things might not be done properly. And if you question there knowledge they call you names.
My niece went to get her vehicle done here and they not only charged my niece $800 for a job that they did not finish but called my sister a “hot head” because she was upset. They towed her car for $300 and then proceeded to charge $500 to fix the axle. When the car was picked up it turned off down the road and this is why my sister was upset. Later they decided to take the car to the dealership and it was the motor mounts , and they needed to replace the axle that was already “fixed” …. I usually do not bash companies but my niece is 18 years old and works hard for her money… not cool or a good way to do business! I highly do not recommend this shop.
This my first time using this family owned Automotive Service. I felt I was told what was needed to be done to get my vehicle running right. My vehicle feels so loved and runs great. Thank you guys and gals for making me feel like this time I'm dealing with good people. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who wants to hear the truth. I will be returning should I find myself needing these services again. Thank you.
One of their drivers almost hit while I was in the middle lane while he illegally went into on coming traffic to go around me. Will NEVER use them!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If they can’t drive safe then they don’t deserve to be in the towing business. If I could put a negative stars I would
The owner and the employees are very helpful especially Mr. Sanford and Mrs. Cole the secretary. I was treated well and politely and have had my car serviced there and will continue to do so. Thank you.
My Dodge Ram 2500 broke down on saturday morning. I call standford towing, they picked up my truck promptly. Monday, they gave me the breakdown what need to be fixed (parts & labor). They fixed it ASAP. A++++
