My truck lost all electrical power and I was stranded on the road in Corpus Christi last week. I called Zam Automotive bases on very good reviews and am happy to say they lived up to them. It was too close to closing time and Jeff generously called a towing service and stayed open until we got my truck admitted for service and I arranged a ride. The repair was done quickly and as painlessly as possible and I was back on the road the next day. I recommend, Zam as a trustworthy auto repair shop.

Honest, trustworthy and straightforward. I don’t know a thing about cars so I can and have been taken advantage of at other shops. I can in to see if I should spend some money on my vehicle or look to trade. They could have squeezed me, but I was told if it was theirs they would probably trade. I did. Hopefully I won’t need them anytime soon, but if and when I need a mechanic they have my business.
Zam was recommended by a friend. Zam and his crew took care of my Toyota Tacoma and I could not be happier. He was professional and honest about the needed repairs. I would highly recommend this shop. Thank you Zam.
Feb 5, 2025. Zam Automotive was recommended to me by my home state mechanic and there could not have been a better choice. I called, made an appointment, showed up and two hours later, I'm on the road. Had break shoes and rotors replaced. Customer service was excellent. They also did an inspection of other parts of the break system and all checked out.
We had an ongoing issue with our Jeep that the dealership couldn’t fix for a year. We tried many different things but nothing from the dealership was working. We finally got the vehicle towed from the dealership to Zams, Jerry and his crew got the vehicle fixed…even changed the oil and breaks. Next time, I’ll just skip the dealership and head straight to Zam Automotive!
This shop is honest, knowledgeable , and communicates along the process…so I can make the right decision for my family!

We are out of town going to the beach and our car was heating and unfortunately needed more work than expected. Jerry was able to fit us in and fix our car by 12:30pm. I recommend this auto mechanic for their customer service, professionalism and fast response.

Zam Auto showed amazing customer service when I was on an interstate road trip through Corpus Christi Texas. I showed up impromptu, they took time off to diagnose and said " nothing wrong ". They refused for me to pay for time they spent. For me, it shows, they are there for the customers first not the money. That is what a legit business does!
I'm sharing my experience so anyone who chooses this shop is cautious. I took in my vehicle, a diagnostic report was run, I paid $100 cash. I was told the transmission needed replacing, even mentioned the fluid smelled burnt. It didn't need replacing and the fluid was fine. Turned out to be a link that was loose. Saved me $$$$$ with another mechanic. The diagnostic report never said the transmission was bad, that was their Opinion.
Jeff was so kind & helpful. They got my car in on a Thursday evening, diagnosed it & had it fixed and finished Friday after noon. They were so thorough and explained everything they were doing before proceeding. I 10/10 recommend this shop for any of your vehicle needs!!! They provide top of the line service.
Great customer service! They replaced my windshield wiper reservoir and my back up camera. Easy to work with, very knowledgeable and researched options for camera prior to me bringing my car in so they had all the parts needed. Reasonable cost and effective, efficient repair.
I manage a small fleet of tow trucks. The first time that i used them, it was to replace the fuel injectors. They were awesome. They ordered the parts and minimized my down time, great price, great results. A different truck started stalling, so, I tried them again. They found the source of the problem for one of our trucks that had repetitive problems. I hired them to fix that problem too. Once again, they minimized my down time, great price, great results. First off, the gentlemen I dealt with were very professional and knowledgeable. They didn't guess at what the problem with my car was and neither did they OVER CHARGE me! My car had transmission work done, in a timely manner and I am one extremely happy lady. I most definitely will come back if I have any other issues with my car. As for my car, it's running awesome. Weekend Family Fun Saved!! This guy was able to get our Dune Buggy running. Our family had been waiting to drive for 5 months to bring to the beach and she just would not turn over when we got down to the coast. He was booked solid and had ZERO time to help us out but somehow found a way to get this little gem on the beach. Thank you to the entire Zam family and crew for making our beach weekend great.
The gentlemen at Zam are always prompt and efficient in servicing my vehicle. More importantly though, they are honest in assessing the cars needs and whether costly repairs are warranted based on the vehicles value. I trust the friendly staff at Zam and recommend them wholeheartedly!
Yes the owner is a good friend of mine but that doesn't change he is a pro fixing card or trucks period. Great staff great service at a fair price. Always on point highly recommend my brother from another mother Jerry Zamora love and respect.
We have used Zam Automotive for years because we have always gotten excellent work for a reasonable price. At almost 5 the evening before Thanksgiving, my car went on the blink. I got it to Zam's, and I ran into two other people I know that were having emergency work done on their vehicles as well. Zam had it out in no time so I did not have to do without my car over the holiday weekend. I highly recommend Zam. They are honest and do great work!
Very good experience. They keep in contact with you throughout the day to update you on prices and status of the vehicle. I had to be at work early that day but they made sure someone was there to drop my vehicle off in the morning. Very easy process on fixing the vehicle and the end result was amazing and drives smooth.

They diagnosed the problem with my car and fixed it in a timely manner. My brother took me to pick up my vehicle once it was repaired and he also was impressed with Zam. We were in Corpus for a wedding 6 hours away from home. My jeep started overheating. I called about 12-1 on a Friday afternoon and told them what was going on. They said to bring it in and they would pull a tech to check it out. When we got there they were so friendly! They made us a priority since we were traveling and had the repair done within a couple hours. The part even came with a coast to coast warranty! Such amazing and friendly service!

Zam Automotive is great! I came to Corpus Christi for work and my pilot/escort vehicle developed a couple of urgent problems. These guys got me right in, searched around for the best price on the parts I needed, got them installed, and on my way really quickly. The customer service is top notch!
