If you want Band-Aids or quick fixes, you might convince these guys but chances are you'll get over served. You definitely do not know more than Mike, or most any of his crew. I would not trust anyone else to "correctly" fix the issue, even if that means trying 8 times to make sure it's un-fixable. Used these guys for years now and they have solved issues no one else could find. They have even fabricated proprietary parts and transmission parts that preformed better than the original, saving tons of money. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and will explain in detail the how's and why. He will give you more of his personal time than he has. The guys in the back are absolutely top notch as well. Any one of them could hold their own against your next best guy. It's like family there. If your looking for custom builds, let them fabricate it. They build as if it's their own personal vehicle. If you need maintenance or basic repairs, that's too easy for them. If your rich or broke, talk to them, Mike will bend over backwards to work with you and not just take your money. While this company of course needs to make money, my experience is they are more interested in doing quality work and treating you like an important person, even if your just plain rude. Try them out. You may pay more, most likely less, but unless your looking to pull one over on them or think you know better, disappointment will not find you. you'll certainly wish you went to them first. Most of the "negative reviews" sound like people who can't accept truth, want unrealistic outcomes or it's like they ordered pancakes and got mad because they didn't get waffles. These guys will probably take more care with your property than most take care of their own.

Stay away! Stay away! This place charged me $1800 just to tell me my engine was bad. $1800 for a diagnostics is ridiculous. I can’t wrap my head around that.

This company is by far very detailed oriented. Do you want your car right away or do you want it checked three times and make sure there is no problems!? Yes, you want to use this company. Taking your car there, you will get a diagnosis of what’s wrong with your car, will give you an estimate, but do know that even when getting an estimate, things change due to unforeseen additional things in Which they will call you to let you know that you also have this problem..would you like us to take care of that? That’s the service you’re getting. You may not get your car same day but you will get your car done right. I recommend this company highly. Just be patient.

Mike was able to diagnose my lifter failure in my 6.0 LS motor. He built my motor with a BTR stage 2 camshaft along with other upgraded parts such as lifters, valve covers, etc. My motor runs strong and sounds great. To prevent future failure, he recognized my transfer case needing attention. He sent updates with pictures during this extensive repair Highly recommend for quality work.

**SEPTEMBER 2025** Mike and his team did great for me on my 2016 Diesel Ford! Had multiple exhaust and turbo issues including check engine light. Mike and his team had my truck for 48 hours. As a college student far from home this is difficult, but in under 48 hours Mike had diagnosed and repaired my vehicle, even staying overtime! I couldn't ask for or recommend a better team to work on your Diesel or gas vehicles!!

Mike’s Mobile Auto recently took such great care of rusting on my front fender on my suv plus a spot on the hatch door. It was done so expertly… carefully… with a special touch and a great price! Feels awesome knowing it’s all taken care of… and in such a professional manner. If I have any vehicle problems I know just.where to bring them to… Mike’s!

This is a great shop to get work done on your car. Mike and his guys have been great about communicating what's wrong and how they intended to fix it. I normally get very anxious having mechanics work on my vehicles, because you have to trust what they tell you is accurate. There are no shortage of shady mechanics out there, who either can't fix the problem or want to 'fix' extra things that you never needed done. Mike's shop isn't like that. After fixing my transmission, they have earned my trust, and my future business.

My vehicle was in their shop for months. I'm out of town, so I put a lot of faith in them. I was very disappointed. The lack of integrity started showing up on the drive home. My vehicle runs, but by the sound and feel of it, not for long.

I would highly recommend this company. I didn’t know what I was going to do because my mobile pet grooming trailer needed the lights fixed and I had work for the rest of the week. He was able to fit me in the owner and the technician were very nice And explained what I needed. You can tell the owner really loves his company and customers. I’m definitely going to be coming back in referring everybody. Very reasonably priced as well!

Had my exhaust manifold gaskets and bolts replaced, it was done in a timely manner and correctly, Mike talked to me personally, him and his assistant in the office were very nice, thank yall! Great job!

I was referred to mikes shop after exhausting everything I could to figure out what was going on with my vehicle. Mike took it in same day even though I knew he was very busy. I had a feeling it was a major issue & Mike confirmed it through his extremely thorough diagnostic process. Although I got the news that I was not looking forward to ( but half expecting) Mike made me feel at ease, he explained / showed me everything that he had found & what my options were. A complete engine replacement is a huge undertaking and Mike & his crew made it incredibly seamless. The first thing that I noticed when I went down to sign paperwork to get everything ordered was that his employees were happy & helpful. Some people don’t. Notice those things , but I knew that a man that takes good care of his employees will take good care of my vehicle , and did he ever ! The communication throughout the process was stellar , pictures , new engine arrived , old engine out etc. an honest and fair auto repair shop did not exist to me before coming across this place. There is not a question that if should Anything arise with any of my vehicles that I can’t handle. They are coming straight to Mike and his crew. Period.

My son's car had an issue. Mike had an idea right away and after he tested it, it was confirmed. He made the necessary repairs and got the car back on the road in a timely manner. I wouldn't hesitate to go back if the need arises.

Took my 2018 Ram 2500 in for some BS issues. Mike was able to locate the problem very fast and had some of the most clear communication from a shop. They were able to diagnose and find my solution for the issue and get back on the road!

Mike has always provided real deal solutions to problems with our trucks my company has been towing for 45+ years we do most of our own maintenance and repairs but when the problem surpasses our expertise we trust mikes mobile auto to find the answer even after relocating we still depend on Mike Lucente for advice and support finding parts that the dealer tells us are unavailable

Don’t waste your time. I am really disappointed with this service. My car was left there for a long time and was in perfect condition but when I got the car back, the whole dash and interior was sun damaged, not that, the owner doesn’t even reply back, he makes up lies, and doesn’t even give updates when asked for them. I didn’t believe the bad reviews at first but since i experienced this myself, now I understand the complaints people had about this shop. My car was sitting outside that shop for 8 months and I was still overcharged. They also broke my window and charged me for that as well on top of 10 hours of labor. After all of the waiting and stress I find out they didn’t even put the new parts I asked to be changed, everything was reused. In the end, no work was really done to it. Please don’t waste your time and money here

I had the best experience with Mike. I have recently moved here in February. I left my husband due to bad marriage, and I came 5 hours away with nothing. I bought a car, and it never worked, so I spoke with Mike he picked it up and did tons of good work for very little money. He was very respectful and kept me in the loop. Without him and God, I would still be walking. Thank you, Mike. You will be the only one doing work on my car for now on. Look forward to it.

Mike fixed my car fast and with OEM parts. He’s real meticulous and does great work, the devils in the details, and that’s where Mikes at. You won’t find another shop around that has the same professional knowledge and work ethic. Mikes Mobile is a legitimate and honest business. They rebuilt the top end of my jeep, head gaskets and valves and cleaned the engine up. Driving home I ran out of gas and they were amazing enough to show up with gas. We will definitely be giving them our business in the future. I meant to leave this review sooner, sorry Mike.

Mike was awesome! He treated us like family. There were many issues with our vehicle and he was kind enough to also set up a payment plan with us to have all repairs completed the same day. It was past closing time and he still took care of our vehicle and got it done. Best mechanic ever!!

My Ford 250 super duty truck blew a clamp on one of my turbo boosters as I was coming into Corpus Christi. Mike did an exceptional job on my truck. It ended up that the turbo was also bad. Mike ordered all the parts and went above and beyond to get my truck fixed since I was from out of town. I am beyond pleased with the job they did. I highly recommend Mike for any work you need done.

My wife is a travel nurse working in town for a couple of months. I drove her down there from Florida to keep her company on her trip. On the way I noticed that the suspension on her vehicle was horrible! I spoke with my uncle when we got into town and asked if he could recommend a good mechanics shop to look at it. Without hesitation he recommended Mike's Auto Services. I spoke with Mike on the phone and explained my situation. He said to bring it in so they could look at it even though they were extremely busy. They called a couple of days later with a complete list and cost of everything that needed repairs or replacement. During the process of repairs they found some other issues unrelated to the suspension and notified me to see if I wanted it fixed also. ALL the repairs were fixed the following day and now my wife has a safe vehicle to travel in while away from home. I even got a call from them the following day to make sure we were completely satisfied with all the repairs! Who does that nowadays? Thank you Mike's Auto and I will DEFINITELY recommend them to everyone I know there in Corpus! Update: Back in town now that my wife's contract at work is up and was getting ready to drive her back to Florida. Noticed the power steering was grinding. Called Mike up and right away he said to bring it in so they could look at it. They found multiple issues that needed to be repaired. He got it fixed so that we could have a safe trip home! Can't say enough about Mike and his guys at the shop. They are top notch and I wish he was in Florida instead of here! If you're looking for a good mechanic that will be honest with you, do good work, and stand behind what they do, don't look any further. Thank you Mike for making my trip home a safe one!
