This week was my first contact with Bill and Michelle and their repair shop...They were highly recommended to me thru my local neighborhood community paper...as I needed my vehicle checked out for a couple of issues, and was worried where to take it...I was so relieved...not only were they wonderful people, but their honest service, knowledge and repair is above ...well, I'm speechless...Will not go anywhere else! That will say it all!

I was a first time customer, referred by a family member. Michelle & Bill were awesome! They kept me informed about the issues & status of my car repair. The customer service was phenomenal! They were honest & didn’t try to over charge or add unnecessary repairs. Quick & efficient, they had my car done in one day, it was ready for pickup the next morning about 11:00. Very satisfied with their service & will spread the word. I will return for future repairs.

I am so grateful to the owner of Schroeder's Automotive. He went above and beyond to help me with my car. This is a business of honesty and Integrity. I recommend this company 💯!!! He is an open Believer in Christ and the way he conducts business shows that He is also a Follower of Christ. ✝️

Finally an honest and trustworthy mechanic! I recently bought a pre-owned RDX for my daughter and after purchasing it, even though everything looked good, I brought it to Schroeder’s for a thorough checkup on it from bumper to bumper. When I called they were able to get me in quickly and convenient to my schedule. When I arrived the receptionist was super friendly and assured me everything would get taken care of. When I picked it up they told me they had gone through it with a fine tooth comb, it was a great car, had no current issues or previous codes stored, and should last for a very long time. They never tried to sell me anything, or scare me into replacing anything…just good honest straight forward “everything looks great”! If I do ever have any issues with it, I will absolutely bring it to Schroeder’s because I know they’ll take good care of me again. What a breath of fresh air from dealerships trying to upsell overpriced services and items I don’t need. Thank you very much Schroeder’s!!

Bill and his team took care of my Fiat very quickly. He diagnosed and fixed my issue in hours. He charged me a fair price and I will definitely use Schroeder's again!

I am a firm believer of reading reviews before I use auto repair shops. Based on such reviews and personal recommendations, I took my vehicle to Schroeder’s to hopefully resolve a persistent check engine light. After a few days, I wanted to check with the technician servicing my vehicle to give him the background of what was going on when I first noticed the light. Before I could get two words in, the technician rudely states that he’s the mechanic and that I need to talk to the front desk. I proceed to finish explaining to him the background, he calms down, and we have a decent conversation. The next day or so, when receiving an update, I am told by Bill to not approach the mechanics and not to ever go into the Bay Area. I told Bill that I didn’t enter the Bay Area, but that I spoke from the outside. Needless to say, I was not feeling like a valued customer at this point. A few days later, after performing every possible test, they believed that they found the fix. It was about $2500, but I was happy to pay. I later talked to Bill because I really didn’t like the adversarial relationship that was developing. We both kind of apologized; I was actually walked through the shop and giving a detailed explanation of the fixed. The check engine light came back on a few days later, took the car back, found a faulty hose, replaced it. All good. I felt that Schroeder did everything possible, but the darn light returned. At this point, l just clear it out and move on. Recently, I had a coolant leak that appeared to originate from the water pump. Back to Schroeder for repair. A few days later, a technician calls and asks me to explain the problem. I tell him the exact same thing that I provided when the car was towed to the shop. He says he’ll look into it and call me back (this is a Monday). On Friday, I call into the shop for an update. I am told that the mechanic, (or Bill) is on the phone and that she’ll call me right back after she talks with him. An hour and half later, I am still awaiting a callback. It is apparent that Bill is a fellow Christian and I like the folks at Schroeder’s. I’m trying to be a good customer. They seem to have plenty of business, and I hope that continues for them. But unfortunately, I don’t feel that I am one of their valued customers. Hopefully, they’ll call back today with a fix so that I don’t have to bother them with my business. I received a call and a pleasant response to my review, in which some of my prior concerns were also addressed. The latest issue was resolved and communication restored. Thanks Bill, for responding!

These guys know their stuff and are great to work with. I have had my vehicles serviced here three times now and each time the issue was resolved to my satisfaction and within the price range that I anticipated. They have never tried to upsell me anything, suggested I needed service that I knew I didn't, or pulled any other shenanigans that are all too common when trying to find an honest mechanic. They aren't the cheapest game in town, but I'll pay a bit more to know I am working with an honest, trustworthy group of competent folks. Highly recommended. Note: 4 stars instead of 5 only because their outward communication could use some work: I always have to call to check on my vehicle status and find out when it is done. I think these guys all just like fixing cars more than they like letting people know their vehicle is ready to go, so they move on to the next vehicle that needs fixing! Always some room for improvement, lads.

I don't even know where to start. They have been above and beyond helpful and communicated from start to end. My car is 2015 and this is the first time needed repairs. Bill and his wife are very sweet. Thanks again.

This was the third time i use Bill’s services and can only summarize my experience in one word - Amazing! The service is always professional and to the highest standards while they also look for ways to keep the cost down for me (let’s face it, MB is expensive to own:)) and always have the time to explain to me and answer all my questions. In my most recent service there i had an MB dealer (north of Allen) messing up my vario roof and telling me i need to pay 12k to get it fixed, Bill and his team found out the dealer missed a microswitch and broke a pin - after fixing both, the vario roof is now working as before and for a fraction of the cost, that’s a very professional place and team!!!

My experience with the shop was terrible. Told a part was ordered 3 months ago after a full day of waiting for a diagnosis. Never heard back and when I called I was told it was because it was warranty and the car would have to be there. I had asked about a warranty when I brought the car in and told them I felt it was unlikely. I was told they called and checked with the warranty company but my warranty company had no record. It took me about 10 min to check with warranty and get confirmation it wasn’t covered. It took 8 hours at this place with me waiting- ordering door dash- and being sent on my way at 5:30 PM with the diagnosis. When I left I was told a part was ordered. I called the next day and even the next week. No part. Dishonest about calling my warranty company and dishonest about ordering the part and took an entire day of my time giving me the run around.

I heard this place was highly recommended so thought I would give it a try. Had car worked on for basic maintenance, oil change, bleed brake fluid and replace, alignment and reprogrammed computer. Over $1200 in charges however when I pick up the car their is a severe rattle coming from muffler, mechanic said actuator went out and needs replaced which mysteriously becomes an issue while in shop and an additional charge. Car sounds worse after bringing it to them but since they have been paid , no longer their problem . Won’t be back

Bill and his team are the BEST! Our family has relied on Schroeder’s for over six years to maintain and repair our cars. He has saved me from costly unnecessary repairs recommended by dealership service departments.

Took my 2019 Panamera (still under CPO) to get my 40,000 mile maintenance. Taylor was very nice and informative. Jake was super friendly and willing to give me advice on maintaining the car. Service was all done in a timely manner. To be honest, I was a bit hesitant not taking my car to a dealer, but this experience confirmed that it was the right thing to do! In the parking lot/garage bay, I saw a bunch of cars such as land rovers, Maserati, Porsches, corvette, BMW, Mercedes. Thanks guys for a great experience. See you back in 1 year or 10,000 miles. 👍

Bill absolutely ROCKS!!! I needed to have service completed on my daughter Toyota in three days so that she could go out of town. Not only did he finish this project in time he also found major issues and was able to convey the problems and rectify those as well before her trip.

Excellent customer service!! I'm glad I didn't visit Mercedes directly this time. Phil and team checked my car and advised exactly what was needed to be done only, instead of automatically provide the full service on my car. I appreciate the honesty. This is my place to go, going forward. Thank you again!

Schroeder's was recommended to me, and I took my ~14 year old Camry in when I noticed the coolant was leaking. I was happy with the service received and trusted their recommendations. The customer service was excellent and they were quick to answer the phone. I dropped my car off after work to have it looked at the following day. They replaced my radiator ($1050), valve cover gasket ($220) and power steering return line ($160). There may be lower prices if you shop around but I will likely come here again for future car maintenance. I will update if any issues arise.

I have all positive things to say about this place. They were very transparent about the quote and they assured me with warranty if I have any issues. My car's engine oil was leaking from multiple places. They didn't try to upsell for other repairs which are not needed.

I've taken all my families vehicles here for about 8 years because I can trust Bill Schroeder 100% and he does great work. He also supports our veterans and gives back to the community. What else could you ask for? A great owner who runs a great business.

I am amazed at all the great reviews about this place. I went to Schroeder's because of these reviews. I wanted my experience to reflect what everyone else has said but it was hardly that. In fact, we took TWO vehicles and had less than satisfactory experiences. Let's start with our pickup, needed a diagnostic and they never provided one. We thought it was an alternator so they put one in. Who takes the customer's guess without diagnosing it? It was supposed to be there over the weekend and we didn't get it back for two weeks. Upon picking it up (unlocked by the way), we were stranded again a few miles down the road. $300+ fix So we thought it was a fluke, and took our SUV which had issues with the lights. Same thing, took there for a diagnosis and I called every other day for an update. It was 10 days before we got it back. No written diagnosis info. They had taken parts out because they said it had received water damage and in their opinion, it was totaled. We went to pick it up. There was debris from picking it apart, the light issue was worse AND we had NO A/C! More lights came on, on the panel that weren't there before and nothing we could do could start our A/C which was working before! I can't imagine ever having a car come back worse from a mechanic. So here we are, trying to put the SUV back together as another mechanic said it was just all thrown in. The truck has since been fixed and it was not the alternator so that was a waste of money to take to Schroeder's. I'm glad many others have had great experiences but just wish they had cared about ours.

If you're looking for an HONEST mechanic, then Schroeder's is a great place to go. I brought my car in this morning due to a noise it was making when turning the steering wheel (but of course it wasn't making the noise this morning). They immediately took my car in for evaluation at my agreed upon drop-off time. After a short amount of time, Bill informed me that they couldn't find any issues since the noise wasn't present. He said that when it starts making the noise again to give him a call so that they can hoist it up and see what's going on. And...he didn't charge me anything for the mechanic's time. A lot less scrupulous mechanics could've taken advantage and charged all kinds of money for unnecessary repairs. I am glad to have found Schroeder's.

Very honest straightforward car repair business. They fixed my Mercedes at such a reasonable price compared to what 2 other automotive repair shops quoted me. I highly recommend Shroeder's for your import car repairs. They actually took me to look under my car on the lift and showed me what was wrong. I've never had a mechanic that offered this to me. Outstanding service and excellent quality of repairs.

Excellent service. I’ve gone to a well-known auto care company for years, but Schroeder’s has NEVER tried to forcibly up sell or sneak charges onto my bill, unlike my previous brand-name auto shop (that attempted to do so every visit). Schroeder’s mechanics seek to SOLVE problems, not make them. They work WITH you instead of subtle opposition to you. I feel safe and taken care of by this shop. Which I don’t think I’ve ever said about any repair place. —-Schroeder’s mechanics and staff operate on such a level of integrity that is not seen in this industry. I trust them with my car, and therefore my future. —-

I am from El Paso TX and my niece is in McKinney. She is a young lady that is now on her own far from home now that she just graduated college. She bought her first car a 2017 Subaru in Austin TX, unfortunately her whole brake system was bad and another shop wanted to charge her $1900 dlls. I got involved from El Paso and started making calls with her and they recommended Schroeder's Import Automotive. She got the car down to them and i spoke to Bill to explained the situation. On a very personal and professional matter he explained the process and he needed to diagnosed it. Also he told me he would talk to the dealer since it only bought it a month ago and only has 18k miles. To our great surprise Bill got the dealership to pay for the whole thing. That made my niece's day. when she barely got her first paycheck ever and now lives on her own that meant the world to her and me. Thank you so much Bill and your team. Will definitely pass the word around.

A relatively nice place, honest but definitely on the expensive side. I had an alignment, synthetic oil change and differential fluid service done. Total cost was $300 💸 The next day my radiator cracked, I liked the shop enough so I called them for a quote and they said $1000 😳. I had the work done at Drivers edge for $550 👍 still expensive but definitely not the $1000 Schroeder's quoted me. I would say "shop" around before you make your decisions.

If you are looking for a trustworthy repair facility then please do yourself a favor and don’t look any further. I brought my Mercedes in because I thought there were issues with the AC and cold air wasn’t coming out. Mr. Schroeder himself looked at my car and let’s just say-it was user error! Embarrassing I know! He was very honest and could’ve charged me whatever price and I wouldn’t have known. Thank you Mr. Schroeder for your honesty! I will be sure to bring my Mercy in if I ever need any repairs done in the future! Ariana

Always a good experience. I'm a guy who likes to do work myself to save money and peace of mind, but have had nothing but good experiences when bringing my wife's Jetta in for work. They replaced the AC compressor and drier for much cheaper than I had been quoted else where and was very timely work. Friendly staff. Trustworthy place of business.

How often have we heard that females are taken advantage of when doing anything pertaining to cars. The owner and staff of this establishment provide great service and are trusting. They take the time to ensure you have an understanding of the problem and solution. As well, I compared prices and he they are equal to or better than. I left for while, but I am coming home. Thanks Bill for presenting as a man with integrity and for hiring a staff that mirrors your foundation. Great family as well!
