Do not go here trouble communication. My husband called to get a left accelerator on his truck because he was in a motorcycle accident ending in him losing his right leg. I drop the truck off and talk to Tommy and he said what needed to be done. Today he called my husband saying it’s a brand new car why you changing the accelerator. My husband tells him why. Tommy says the truck is really $257 is due. All they did was change out the same accelerator did not do what was asked of them but we still have to pay and job was not done. Talk to the manager and he was not any help saying it’s nothing he can do and that what we asked is not possible. Very unprofessional and unknowledgeable. They never called after receiving the truck and seeing nothing was wrong with accelerator just changed it and that’s not what was discussed. Go to Sal’s by NTB.
So honest and reliable! Every time I've taken a vehicle to Best Auto Repair they have been super honest about repairs needed. I trust them completely to do the job needed without any unnecessary extras. I will always use Best for my auto repair needs!
They judge you at the door to decide if they want to work with you or not. Went by a few times weeks apart, to get on schedule for my classic to be repaired. Everytime I returned they responded, we can't find your name in our list. I feel like they just kept putting me off until I was not longer interested. Thanks guys.

Taken my car here twice now, first time was for a second opinion on something a major chain repair right down the street wanted to charge thousands of dollars on. Best Automotive was honest about the actual issue and have not had a problem with the trans since.
Second time was to replace a starter. They were fair with the price and timely with the repairs. They caught an secondary issue that again was fair in price and quickly fixed.
These folks are trust worthy and decent. Will gladly bring any of my cars in without worry.
Aaron and his staff at Best Auto are AMAZING! Efficient, friendly, caring, on time, and their work is always superb. I have been that damsel in distress. It's downright dauting as a single woman (or at least for me) to have mechanical issues and not know if the person working on your vehicle is going to take you to the cleaners financially due to your "lack of knowledge" about vehicles. At Best Auto that is not the case. I will continue to take my vehicle there as long as I remain in Kingwood. :)
Had a tire go flat right around the corner. When i lifted the truck and removed the lug nuts i could not get the wheel off. After 45 min of trying i limped it to Best automotive. The jumped right on it. It still took 2 guys on the ground hitting it from the backside and applying heat where the rim meets the hub to get it to break free. Once finished they would not even except payment!!! I would expect that again but was really nice. Great guys and eager to help. 10 stars!!!!!
Coming from a Lady, I have to say the guys that work at Best Auto are great! They have worked on my 2001 expedition SUV through out the years and they have always made time to squeeze in my issues. Aaron is honest, professional and he stands by his word. I appreciate that the shop calls me with the price before they start working on the SUV (I don't like suprises). They do not put pressure or try to sell you on extra parts that your car may not need. I appreciate the hard work they do for my husband and I.
Side note: Ladies the bathroom is always clean.

Best auto repair is a great example of a business who knows how to do it right. It has good repair knowledge. The people are friendly and you leave there feeling that you’ve gotten value for your money. I’m not sure what else is required? Don’t do as I did and mistakenly think dealer service shops are the place to get the best help. Small locally owned businesses can often times not only be your most economical option, but also your best option.
brought my car here to get electrical work done 3 times now in the past couple months, each time it’s been fixed and then shorted something else out after a couple weeks. This time, the issue they caused left me stranded, and with a car that almost went up in flames. So if you want your car to work as it should, don't even consider best Automotive off Northpark.
This shop is by far one of the best I've ever known and I have had A LOT of broken cars. The work they do is phenomenal but the thing I am here to review is the people. They are ALWAYS willing to help me out, I rebuilt two different engines myself and every time I hit a snag or had a question they would answer it, free of charge then welcome me to come back if I had any more. They recommended me to a machine shop that is just unreal how good it is and to add onto how great they are with cars, they are also super active in the community from bible study, to supporting local businesses and supporting local teams and youth. If you're debating who to go to, give these guys a shot, you won't be sorry.
Very knowledgeable and very thorough in identifying the issues and fixing the problems. Definitely would not hesitate to take either of my vehicles there again. I would also highly recommend them to others.
Knowledgable, honest, friendly guys who do great work. You would be hard-pressed to find a garage around here with such a wide variety of expertise. They can handle pretty much any job for any vehicle from any year.
I live in the Atascocita area and went out to the movies in the Kingwood area and noticed one of my headlights was out. Bought my bulb at Advanced Auto but they couldn’t install for me so I drove over to Best Automotive and the guys took care of it for me free of charge. They didn’t have to do that but, out of the kindness of their hearts they did and I’m thankful for them. I’m already recommending people now that I know where they are located and by my experience with them. So, thank you Best Automotive for helping me out 😀

Well here it is 7 months later and a few days ago had to drop off my 91 LS Camaro project(Which is ready only been 3 days and again Awesome Work) for Aaron and his army of car tech's to save me from the misguide loss of $$$ and time that was wasted on Eagle tune and lube(Formerly R n J performance) Sisney Jr., they had my car for 5 years were paid 5 years ago and in the end; I had to take to the Best place I now know is in Town, BEST AUTOMOTIVE, and trust me when I say wish I had known about Aaron and Best Automotive 5 years ago!!! Ooh well I Know now and so do You, so if your next car repair is the Worst then should of taken it to Best Automotive there is no other for me!!

Good no nonsense mechanics, knowledgeable and professional. Arron is a no BS person and tells you honest facts, mechanics very qualified and knowledgeable value is you get what you pay for, work is performed in a timely manner and repairs honestly performed! Stand behind their work! Highly recommend!!! Fair pricing for work performed.
OK. the service was top notch. They offer military discount of 10% with a military ID. They are sometimes a little overly friendly, but i'm an introverted personality and i think other people like more interaction than I do. They had some parking issues out front, but thats because they were very busy. They participate in car shows, and take pride in their work. Don't expect a 45 minute turnaround though, these guys have a high amount of clientele, they order the parts specifically for your vehicle (if they don't already have them on hand), and they make sure to do the job right. It took my car a day and a half. dropped of around 1pm on a weekday, and done by 3pm the following day.
Stopped in first thing this morning to see if there was any chance they could change out my battery for me. I figured it was a long shot to get it done right away. Met Aaron Best and he changed it out right then and there. The work was fast and friendly and got me back on the road. I will be taking both my vehicles there for all future repairs!!

This place is absolutey amazing. Honest, trustworthy, Christian guys who don't try to take advantage of you in the least. KSBJ playing in the background and a sweet reminder to pray for our soldiers. Kingwood friends and neighbors....This should absolutely be your first choice when you need a mechanic!
These guys were great. I knew how to fix my problem but didn't have the tools. These guys had the best prices on a wheel bearing swap in town. After I put my new wheel hub in place I realized I also didn't have a torque wrench for my axle nut. These guys were more than accomodating and loaned me one at the shop. Awesome service all around!
Went there because car was overheating. Aaron fixed it up in no time free of charge. I'll be going there for all my maintenance from now on. Friendly service and incredibly helpful and understanding towards the situation.
I am very disappointed. I always thought they were good, but discovered they do not follow through the way the manufacture recommends. We had a clutch put in a truck. Less than 20,000 mile later the clutch went out again. Then to top it off, 6 month down the line, clutch went out again. Only to find out that when you replace a clutch, you MUST either resurface or replace the flywheel. Ours was bad the first time and not addressed. Not addressed the second time leaving us stranded 1,200 miles from home. Should have done the job right the first time.
Needed an estimate on an oil leak and they charged me extra $100.00 and kept my car for a day and half. Would have been nice to get a phone call telling me they where going to charge me $100.00 extra. Charged me $150.00 just to tell me what was leaking.
Started with a misunderstanding, and an angry wife.
These sharp professionals stepped forward, apologized, and made everything right. My daughter's car now has excellent working A/C. She and I am VERY satisfied and very happy.
When people are willing to apologize and make things right, they gain my trust. Give them a try. I think you will be satisfied also.
Did a great job on my exhaust. Thanks guys. The inside of my car was vibrating a little bit from my new exhaust. I brought it in today, told him what's happening, he put on a couple brackets to help support the exhaust pipes. Didn't charge me anything extra and that was it, took the vibration away... you guys are awesome!!!
Aaron and his mechanics are very knowledgeable about my car and truck with having and older vehicles it's nice to have someone that's fair and knows exactly what's going on every time so far! Would recommend to everyone with confidence
Aaron and Chris are awesome. Had to leave my wife's care with them to have the plugs changed. It's a Golf and if you know anything about VW, nothings cheep! They were reluctant at first to do it, and I don't blame them. VW's are notorious for complicated parts and repair, but they got it done, and done well! Chris even gave me ride back to my house since I didn't have a way to do so, which is why I come to them first. These guys are awesome, and go above the extra mile when it comes to customer service. Highly recommend them to anyone needing a trust worthy mechanic for their ride!
