I had an amazing experience at O’Reilly’s thanks to Will! He went above and beyond to help me find the brake caliper hangers and the right brake grease. Every time I have come in here is he is always happy to assist.
Despite it being really busy when I got there and other customers throwing tantrums, the two gentlemen working tonight were so helpful and nice. This location didn't have the part I needed but the employees were so helpful by telling me which other locations had my part. I highly recommend this store.
Bad customer experience/service. Went for a simple battery check on 1/2/26;2pm. One person behind the counter with an empty store. Personnel was bothered that I interrupted him. Never looked at me in the eye to engage. I asked what he would recommend for my battery and told me he would charge the battery, it would only take a couple of hours. After 4 hours of no phone call, I went back. A second employee was there in the empty store, the same employee would still not be bothered. After some murmuring between the two, the second employee retrieved my battery and stated they forgot to call to tell me that the battery was ready and fully charged. When I got home to install, it was still dead. I took the battery to a competitor and they confirmed the battery had 0Volts. I bought it at that location instead. Not sure what their issue was with me. As a Kingwood resident I feel sad that O'Reilly's doesn't show a person feel welcomed.

I had a great experience at this location. WILL you’re the man, he helped me right before closing and was very understanding of my situation. Efficient work, great communication and very knowledgeable. Truck was overheating from a mistake another shop made and he helped me correct it so I could make it home SAFE! I can’t thank you enough, definitely recommend this store. Will, thank you again!
Great visit. Worked witha young man named Mason. Please give him a financial spiff for the Christmas holiday season. He went over and beyond service in helping me with my purchase and explanation of how I will do my job. Thanks for the your great hire. He was also training another young man with a work related manner. Thanks. A real go getter.
Went into O’Reilly today to rent a tool for a vehicle that I suspected had no fuel pressure. Having not rented a tool before the two gentleman at the front Mason and Kegan were able to show me the tool sheet and help me with the entire process. I was a little hesitant at first when they stated I was gonna get my money back when I returned the tool having to have had a bad experience at a competitor of theirs, but when I returned the tool, they made the whole process seamless and as painless as possible
Mason and Kegan were a great help, I came in close to closing, and they gave me no problems actually seemed happy to help read my check engine light. The guys deserve a raise!
06/24/2025 went to O'Reilly this evening to purchase windshield wipers and the two males that were there had a bad attitude. They need customer service training.
Becky helped me and was AMAZING! I was in a predicament with my battery dying suddenly and she really helped calm me and figure the situation out (I was clueless). THANK YOU BECKY!!!! She was so funny and nice! Made the experience for me and I like never leave reviews. Go here if you have auto needs!
8:30p on 4/5/2025 I called 7 times to confirm if something is in stock before driving to the store- 5 out of the 7 times it just rang and rang, no one picked up the phone. The other 2 times, someone picked up and hung up immediately. I ended up driving there since it was getting late, I really needed the parts that night and this parts store is the closest to my house- when I walked in, neither of the 2 gentlemen working greeted me or acknowledged I was there. One was watching a sports game on his phone- I know this because he kept talking about it to the other employee and was using a lot of profanities. I walked up to the counter and let one of them know what I needed. The employee helping me seemed very disinterested in working, but at this time it was about an hour before they closed and I really needed these parts at that moment, otherwise I would have never considered spending my hard earned money here after they refused to answer my calls.
While I was there, I was the only customer in the store- the phone rang THREE different times and neither of them answered the calls (the employee that wasn’t helping me continued leaning on the counter watching his phone).
I was able to get 14/20 parts I needed and went to a competitor parts store to get the other 6 (that parts store answered right away and confirmed they had these in stock).
After I got what I needed from the other parts store, I was on my way home and remembered I needed one more thing so I stopped back into this location (I was very reluctant but it was my only option at this time of the night) at 9:45p and the doors were LOCKED 15 minutes before they were supposed to close. I will never give this location another chance- they are so extremely unprofessional. This location has very low expectations for their employees. Spend your money elsewhere!
The rear wiper of my 2011 Honda Pilot went missing (might've fallen off during a car wash) earlier this week. I was struggling to figure out what exactly I needed, but Kenneth was able to look up exactly the product I needed and even offered to install it for me! He was very quick and helpful. :)
Just want to give a big thank you to Kim for letting me borrow her air compressor for my tires. The staff here has always been amazing; keep up the good work y’all!
Came in the other day because I had a problem with another store when traveling. Basically they sold me a battery that I didn’t need. The manager was very understanding and and handled the situation to where I was a hundred percent satisfied. I’d also like to mention that it took a little longer than I would expect but that’s because he was doing everything under the sun for one of our elderly community members. Great store great staff.
Solid location. Ordering parts for pickup is a breeze. Staff seems legit, though if they paid more for staff I bet customers would have a slightly better experience but over all pretty chill store.
I just wanted to thank the staff at my O'Reilly store in Kingwood. Just recently I had to get some windshield wipers for my truck and Justin was so sweet and came out to install them with such a sincere smile. That's customer service at it's best. The whole staff goes above and beyond. It's not the first time they come to my aid.

The gentleman that helped me at this location was absolutely outstanding. I unfortunately cannot remember his name, but I know he'll remember me as his customer after he reads this review. I have a small SUV and just recently moved to Kingwood... My husband was working in a different state and I literally knew no one in Kingwood. My front light went out and I refused to drive at night because of this. I was in this store in the morning time and this man found the bulb replacement for me and then assured me not to worry about having it installed... He immediately went out in 105 degree weather, in the parking lot and lifted my hood and installed it all for me. I was so grateful... he was the prime example of a truly good man, but mainly, an outstanding, committed, knowledgeable employee!!! Customer service is so rare these days... He was truly refreshing to me, to trust and rely on... He needs to be recognized by management in my opinion.... I'm a forever customer of yours now strictly because of him. Thank you again, Jen💙
Richard was extremely helpful during my visit. Not only did he double check parts for me to make sure I picked up the right parts (which was greatly appreciated) but he also put on my wiper blades and taught me how to do so. I would give him an 11/10 for how well he assisted me today and I plan on coming back to this location for all my future needs.
My battery died when I was out shopping. My husband called ahead to make sure they had it and asked if they would put it in for me. Richard to the rescue. He was so nice and had me on my way in no time. Refused to take a trip and asked for a review instead. No problem Richard, you and the staff at this location in kingwood are awesome. Keep giving great customer service!!
I came here when my daughter’s Jeep wouldn’t start. I had jumped it and was sure battery needed checked. They came out and said “it says charge to check” and went on to say that means the battery is bad - at least a couple of bad cells he said. I believed them. As they were changing the battery I noticed her dome light was on and found that it had been left on at the switch. I asked if that meant that if the battery just needed charged (duh that’s what the machine said). They didn’t answer. I pushed more and said was that other battery perfectly fine and just needed charged because she left some light on? It was quiet. I said can we put the other one back in? He said no, I already put the core sticker on it. It was just an orange sticker. I was so disappointed— I remembered that when I arrived he laughed and said he’d been “doing this all day” and showed me a cart full of “dead batteries” - he also noted that they work off commission.
I felt so disrespected and taken advantage of. There was nothing wrong with my battery and he told me I needed a new $240 battery. He was not willing to make it right either.
Today we took another car there (mistake) and they lied about why the engine light was on — told her she could just drive it, no big deal. Said those lights go on and off all the time. She went to advanced auto parts who told her her oil was low and helped her fill it. Light is off.
Two honest experiences right in a row. You decide….I know I have.

After a morning of frustrating car issues, he was so kind in helping us diagnose the issue, finding parts, how to install and even loaning the correct tool.
