Driver backed across a main thoroughfare like he owned the road. Then he got out of the tow truck like he wanted to fight. Please look for better employees. I have only heard good about yall prior to this. It was frightening, I was verbally attacked and feared physical contact. Young man should control his temper. Got out of truck to scream at me about his frustration. Prayers that his day is better tomorrow. Maybe he should realize he is representing a company.
Getting your car towed is never fun or easy but this place was super nice, helpful, and understanding. They worked with me on my schedule and gave me such a reasonable price. Recommended for any towing needs!!
Great Service with Great Prices. Was very consistent on time and driver was very polite and treated our Dodge Charger with most of care while hauling it for us. Definitely would recommend them to everyone, And will use them again in the future.
Best experience I've ever had dealing with a towing service.....These guys are great...always answered the phone, called back and made it a point to help me find solutions where other towing companies I've dealt with just added to the problem. Very courteous and put me first.... We all know that for a towing company, that's RARE. If I ever have to deal with a towing service, I want it to be A1 Sand Dollar towing and recovery!
Gave an hour notice to pick up a vehicle and sent them all paperwork requested just to get all the way there and they have vehicle we're supposed to pick up on their tow truck. Could of easily called and told us not to come but chose not to and wasted our time. Thanks !

I had the best experience with this company, they were real quick to help, real quick to show up, and insanely reasonable prices! A-1 sanddollar towing made my experience of breaking down feel like no big deal, I will forever be so grateful for the assistance they gave me, they are really good people, we need more good people like these guys
From the outrageous price paid to pull my car 2 feet to not receiving an invoice after asking multiple times so I can be reimbursed by my insurance, I would say do research for better prices and better communication.
I called Geico, because I needed a battery charge my motorcycle died.
Geico called several records in the area maybe 5 or 6 and everybody said no don't provide the service, but these guys came down immediately did everything they could my battery was dead, and I asked him if they could come the next day if I buy a battery and they would install it for me, the gentleman arrived told me when he was coming told me when he was here, put the battery in we had a couple little complications he went above and beyond got me started and everything's perfect now.

Horrible! They target young kids during spring break and raise the price even when the kids were by their cars $325. If they take the car to the storage the price goes up. He also stated Galveston told them to raise the prices this week!

Used my insurance first time for towing (the car would not start and had to tow it to mechanic) - the driver was polite and efficient. He even done some light troubleshooting to see if the car would start. And most importantly- the towing truck showed up super fast!
Honestly, I only ever call A1 whenever I have car trouble and need to get one of my vehicles to the shop to get tuned up. In particular I ask for a guy named Albert Rodriguez. He's been the main one who's helped me out over the years, especially when I needed a tow quickly. Nothing against the other people who work there but he hasn't disappointed me yet. Shout out to Albert, appreciate everything you do for us!!!
I’ve utilized this company on many occasions. And I honestly have nothing but good things I’ve noted from my past experiences. I always tell all of my friends and family about A1 when they’re in need of these services. Prompt, punctual, and precise. What more could you ask for in a towing/recovery service??
