People were nice enough. Most of what we saw was very old and should be put out for trash. All wood products eaten by termites should be thrown out, not sold.
Lots of old architectural pieces: window with weights, or just the weights if needed. Limited number of doors. Salvaged bathroom tile and accessories. Some furniture. Concrete corbels and columns. Salvaged oak floors and some limited but various larger beams.
Definitely worth a look if needing vintage architectural replacements
This place is a treasure. Friendly staff and good prices. I see a few people here complaining about prices. Compared with other places in the area their prices are very low.
Found a PinK TOILET AND sINK! So excited!!! Really MY kind of place! Got a Hoosier cabinet top, and there was even more that I wanted to buy. Pack your restraint and go! I need to go back for sure! The young guy working there was so kind and informative. The old Depot building itself is worth the trip! But you'll never find this place on the "beaten path". It jusg m8ght be the best kept secret on the Isle! Shhhh!
Love the warehouse and while initially disappointed it was moving, I've since changed my mind and the new location is great! It's wonderful to make regular trips to see the different items and think outside the box on how they can be used, in addition to replacements as intended. Logan is an enormous help not only with his assistance in making my decisions, but his knowledge of his inventory is great! I hope GHF realizes what a huge asset he is for them! :-) Wonderful customer service!

Always fun and you never know what you will find. If you have an old house like ours this place is great for replacement and additional items! Logan is a huge help as always!

I love this place and purchase a lot of wood and windows here. Lately their price of wood is ridiculous. I can buy new lumber for the same or lower price! They need to remember that their product is all donated and this is a non-profit organization.
Its Green. Great items think outside the box be creative. Hidden treasures, just take your time to look around and go outside to see what's there as well.
You might be able to find matching or similar parts for your historic Galveston home. Inventory is extermely heavy on window sashes. I'd like to see better quality of products made available such as historic lighting, plumbing fixtures, stair cases, fire places. There are a lot of items with signs on them saying "not for sale". Get those items out of the building or remove from public viewing. Those are the only items worth buying so stop taunting customers with items you won't sell.
Love love love this place. Inventory is always changing. Good place for home restoration items as well as decor. Plus, it supports The Galveston Historical Foundation. Win-win!
