Barry was super helpful and knowledgeable, and the driver he assigned was an absolute expert. Took great care to get my pickup home safely. Badasses, would totally recommend!
The manager was great on the phone with helping me get my truck! I really appreciate the 24hr service as well because I needed it before they even opened and the online check in process was smooth!:)

My daughter's vehicle on I35 in Dallas. Called Barry's and the gentleman on the phone got the location, informed of the towing payment options and was very nice. Mr Harrison arrived and towed the vehicle to my residence,, he was super nice and helpful. Not bad for 7am services on I35.. Definitely 5 star service.
1st off, he was not very customer friendly and act like he didn't want to be bothered. I rented a tow dolly from this guy and was unable to return it to him the next day before 5PM so I dropped it off down the street in Grand Prairie. I was told I would only pay for another day and they did charge another $65...two weeks later I get a $195 charged because I dropped it off in Grand Prairie instead of Duncanville. They call this an out of town fee when it is literally the next town over!! I specifically called and asked him what would the charge be and he said an extra day and that was all the information he gave me.
Go to the actual Uhaul store if you can because they seem to be more customer friendly.
The only reason why he got 1 is because he actually had the equipment I requested.

I only trust Barry's Automotive and Wrecker to service my vehicle. I've got 135,000 miles on my Terrain and he keeps it running smoothly. I know that it was listed as permanently closed. This is completely wrong and besides it sending me into a mini panic attack, he is definitely still in business.
Tow truck driver says he came and waited 7 minutes and left me high and dry. Spoke with dispatch and was informed that he'd already been dispatched to another call and could not return. I was there in a big noticable van. Not sure how he missed me. Very poor customer service!
Don't ever return your U-Haul here!!! I was charged $176 of extra fees. It took a lengthy call to U-haul to straighten the matter out. There are other places to return or pickup in Duncanville. Please go there to avoid what I had to go through.
I had an oil leak one night from work decided not to drive my car. I was recommended through silverrock to call the nearest tow company that contracts with them which was Barry's Automotive.....

I just reported this business to my insurance for damaging my car. What was the point of dragging my vehicle when it was drivable and you had the keys. Barry told me it was preexisting damages. When you can clearly see the trail of oil and drag marks.
Then, they did a diagnostic test and wouldn't tell me what was wrong like it was a big secret.
I quickly made calls so my vehicle could be transported to an approved Chevy dealership.
Too bad my warranty sent out an inspector and you guys couldn't tamper with my car. Nice try.

If you have a warranty on your car DONOT allow this company to service or tow your vehicle. Just have your insurance tow your vehicle somewhere else.I will definitely report them to bbb. They prey on vulnerable people.

Dont ever go here!!!! I took my car to him because my warranty company works with him. I had multiple things wrong with my car. I go and pick it up and he says theres nothing wrong and charges me $50 for a diagnostic test (but never told me there's a fee, because i have a warranty). And then i drive my car off the lot and my check engine and maintenance light is still on. So i go right back and he says "thats because your gas light is on". I went to AutoZone to get their "free" diagnostic check and they tell me that their are multiple things wrong plus more. HORRIBLE MECHANIC!!!
My car died in downtown Dallas, and AAA dispatched Wayne from Barry's. He had to drive all the way to Allen and back at 12:30 at night, on a holiday weekend but was friendly as could be!
