I NEVER leave reviews of places but felt strongly enough to leave one here. My car was towed with 25:00 minutes left in my parking allotment. I had a screenshot of that as well as my bank statement where you could see I had paid for parking. Picked my car up immediately after I was towed, around 12:30 AM. The man running the office was EXTREMELY impolite, refused to even acknowledge my proof that I’d paid for parking, and told me if I wanted to ‘argue’, I could leave and not get my car. He was upset that he still had to be at the office that late, and told me as such. I told him I was sorry, but he had my car, and UNRIGHTFULLY at that. Through all of this I believe I maintained my decorum. A group of young ladies came up right after me and the man operating the office insisted that it only be one person at a time. There were raccoons coming out of a hole in the office, we were in the middle of nowhere, and the man was verbally aggressive, so I stayed with these girls for their safety. When he came back outside, he yelled at me that I had to leave. I apologized and said that I was simply here for their safety. He responded with “you are out of your ever-loving gourd”. (Whatever that means..come on dude) He continued to be verbally aggressive with my significant other. He imposed the maximum legal towing fee on my car, but lowered it for the girls behind me because they threatened to call the police. My car was gone for less than an hour and he charged me $340. It truly could not have been a more deplorable experience.

The man who we encountered when picking up the vehicle is the rudest, most unprofessional person I have never met. Just trying to pick up the car after poor signage and he was so mean the whole time. You can hardly see any sign when you walk by. It said customer parking only, in which we were customers. Shady business, rude staff, the most trashy, sketchy, shack looking building hanging on by a thread, mud all in the parking lot junk all over the place. These people are a joke and it is sad that they scam people with this business. I was mad at first but now I feel bad that these people live their lives like this and have to make money in such a crappy way. Sad excuse of a business. Do better. And to those reading this, stay in school so you can avoid living your life this way. I am ashamed this is "Aggie owned" as an Aggie. Y'all should be EMBARRASSED and ashamed of y'all's selves.

If you find yourself towed by this company, brace yourself for an absolute nightmare. This was by far the worst interaction I’ve ever had. It was genuinely unhinged. Ray, the owner, was not only disrespectful but senile and unfit for public interaction. He was confrontational and outright aggressive, towards a teenage girl, nonetheless. The entire situation started out combative, with no chance for basic human interaction, or decency. There was no possible way to de-escalate the situation. He could not communicate unless it involved hostility. It was not a business transaction, but a chance for an elderly man to abuse, and assert his dominance over a young girl. The entire place is a mess, and Ray and this company shouldn’t be anywhere near a towing license.

If I could rate a big fat 0 I would... Extremely rude, out of date systems, do not tow people properly, wait and hide out to find tows, and even radio each other when they think they have a "good one" when they see an expensive model vehicle.. They overcharge, I honestly have no clue how they even still have a business at all..

They were actually kind of nice… until they were speeding with my truck like it was a sack of garbage. To be fair, the older man at the front was decent once I got there. But it’s funny how quickly the tone changes when your vehicle’s already in the air and they’re hauling it over curbs like it owes them money. I’ve seen sanitation workers treat trash with more care than these guys handled my truck. Also—don’t trust the location on Google Maps. They’ve got it pinned to a completely different business. You’ll end up 20 minutes in the wrong direction unless you already know to take the gravel road behind the Frito warehouse. I printed out a map just to help the next poor soul who gets stuck playing scavenger hunt with their car. Aggie-owned? Then act like it. We deserve better.

This guy is the rudest person I’ve ever met in college station. He was extremely unprofessional when I took my friend to pick up her car. Avoid this place at all cost. I’ve never been screamed at by someone like that. Edit: After reading all these 1 star reviews y’all should do yourselves a service and fire Ray!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. We parked at northgate, paid for our parking fully and still got towed. We get to this place at 3 am and it’s in the middle of nowhere, The man working there was aggressive, hostile, and scary. He screamed at me and my friend, refused to let anyone inside with me, and threatened to throw everyone out if we didn’t obey. It felt extremely unsafe, especially for young women at night. He screams at us to get out and then proceeds to SCREAM at me about her car. We finally get the car back after paying and it’s making awful noises and is clearly damaged. This place is ridiculous and we will be filing complaints with the police and the TDLR. Avoid this place at all costs — this is exactly the kind of predatory towing that takes advantage of people and gets away with it too. Edit: turns out they towed it wrong and completely messed up my engine with over $5000 in repairs! How are companies like this even allowed to exist.

When we got to the tow truck place the owner was extremely rude. We were 2 girls on our own and the owner was extremely unprofessional. She stated she didn’t feel comfortable going into an office alone with him and he screamed at her and told her she can go home then. That is not a way to do business with someone. Especially when she is stating that she is not comfortable going into an office alone with an unknown male at 12:30am. He screamed at me and told me I needed to get back in my car. That is no way to treat anyone. Shame on your for being so disrespectful .

I can understand why people would typically be mad at a towing service. However, I knew that we were in the wrong and why the vehicle was towed. We Ubered to roadrunner to pick up our vehicle and it was such an unpleasant experience once we arrived. Ray was very demeaning and disrespectful when we treated him with the utmost respect, and in my opinion we were in good spirits in the unfortunate situation we were in. The front of my vehicle is also damaged from a previous hog encounter and he was questioning us on what happened to my car and what got us in the situation of us being towed, as if he was worried about us blaming him for the damage. It honestly seemed like he was scolding us as a parent for being in the situation we were in even though we took full responsibility. Such a weird situation and 10 out of 10 don’t recommend.

This company is completely unprofessional! Our daughter whom happens to be dyslexic parked and paid for her spot, however when inputting her license plate in she accidentally mixed up one letter. That being said when Road Runner Tow company arrived to tow her vehicle she showed them where she had in fact paid but had made the mistake when entering her license plate. The company was horrible to our daughters and even worse to her Mom and I on the phone when we called…. Never offering a refund to us whatsoever! The police said had they gotten there in time they would’ve requested a refund to be given! I believe this company also had a law suit against them back in 2018! HORRIBLE COMPANY, HORRIBLE EMPLOYEES

These people do not care about your car, and simply will do anything to make a dollar. I would not trust this company with my car. I would also like to add they hire the worst employees and they are so rude. Simply do not call them to tow your truck or anything.

😞 Unfortunately, I hit a deer. Wrecked my 2023 Hyundai Kona. 💔 Roadrunners picked up my car for me (I was about 50 miles from home) and delivered it without any issues. Stu was very polite and professional. I appreciate the help, guys. ✌🏾🫶🏾

If I could have rate it zero stars I would. The staff is horrible. And they wouldn’t let me recover my documents from inside my vehicle. If you’re looking for towing services please do not contact roadrunner. Unfortunately the police contacted them before anyone made a decision on who would tow the vehicle away.

If I could give zero stars I would. I’m not sure how this company is in business. My son’s car was towed & the lady at the front office admitted it shouldn’t have been ( my son has receipts of payment for parking ). Mr Chavers apparently has a history of doing this to people and just doesn’t care ? In my book that’s pretty much theft. He ( the owner) would not speak with me and let my son know to either pay the $300 or get off his property. The local news station has done a couple of stories about him and his questionable business practices. Aggieland should shut him down. It’s a shame that College Station has people like him scamming college kids..

Total scam and will be calling the city of College Station asking why this company's towing fees are double what other cities charge. They said it was College Station that sets their fees. We parked in a private parking area, and I stepped in ants, and we forgot to pay. We came back in 20 minutes, and they had already towed our car and had another car already parked in its place. There is no way there is not a law protecting people from such a scam! Put a lock on the wheel and add a hundred dollars to the regular fee. No, they tow it and charge $322 and an Uber ride to drive 30 minutes away to Bryan. You guys are ridiculous and taking advantage of people! Not to mention the smell of weed as soon as we arrived at their wrecker yard from the wrecker driver that had just towed our vehicle.

I will tell you I called this company at 3:00 in the morning because the police department would not tell me where the vehicle was unless I had the license plates number. I told the Secretary of this place she not only went out of her way and told me she would call and locate it. Sh not only located it for me, she had the police department call my phone and them tell me personally what company had the car, and this company (which I'll name no names) lied to me when I called them and asked them about my car. So thank you to the woman who not only saved my day but did it with style!!!! 😎This woman went above and beyond her title and this is a perfect example of %110 customer service!!!! Thank you Roadrunner Towing for your excellent service. This company will be the only wrecker service in Brazos county and surrounding counties that I'll ever refer to somebody but not only somebody everybody will know about roadrunner towing from me. All my towing needs and Friends towing needs will be used by Roadrunner towing service... Again thank you and your staff...

Our friends’ car was towed from North Gate after exceeding their time limit by less than 5 mins. This company towed them and the employees were extremely rude when they called to inquire about it. $300+ dollars and a lot of headache. Not sure how people live with themselves running a “business” like this. They had children - guess they are teaching them how to grift as well.

Unlawfully towed me with proof of paying. Funny it’s not the first time I’ve heard about this. The owner Tom’s karma will absolutely catch up to him and his trash operation. Garbage small business. I wish this business nothing but the worst Front desk staff is awesome upon releasing my vehicle.

Randomly checked to see if this company is still in business. DO NOT use this company. Not only are they terrible to customers, they a horrible to work for. I worked for them years ago and got screwed over regularly. When I would ask about my short check, they would resort to screaming and saying "take us to court" just like they do to the customers when they tear up thier vehicles. Do yourself a favor and stay away. These guys are crooks

Absolutely horrendous. They towed my EV and absolutley smashed the bumper, side door, and messed up all the electric machinery inside the car. They shouldn't even have a license to tow if they are going to damage cars and refuse to take responsibility. They caused almost $15000 worth of damages on the car and they said the only way they would pay is if we took them to court and won.

Very vile individuals associated with this company. I called and asked for the status of the vehicle and the girl on the phone was so disrespectful and wouldn’t even let me simply speak regarding the status of getting my vehicle towed to my home. How can you have the nerve to hang up on an individual that you have possession of their vehicle? The towing companies here are simply trash and this one is definitely one of them. Look at their responses to other individuals that have an issue with their company. Unprofessional and disrespectful, it’s ridiculous. A business that has a long-standing future will not respond to people in the manner that this “business” does. God forbid your vehicle is in a wreck and you have to be associated with them .

Don't use this company. The don't care about anything but screwing the customer. And the find anyway to not pay you. Had to file a wage claim. They use threats and nasty language to get there way. Boycotted a parking lot the enforced, for 3 nights, cops total officers 4 calls, 9 officers, 2 threats on my phone about my dog, owner thought it was funny to scare me by almost hitting with car, and then sat across street calling me nasty names. All to a senior citizen, with no record or clean MVR, but did not like manager talking to me like a child.

Rude driver threatened to "come back tonight" after I proved to them I was legally parked at my own apartment. Classy. EDIT: To respond to the owners, yes I am very positive it was your company and they neglected to even look inside my car to see my tags BEHIND MY SUNSHIELD.

They have been absolutely unreachable to get it my towed car back. When you call the phone number on google and the website it rings once and then you hear a automated message that they never set up a voice mailbox and ends your call. So absolutely unreachable to get my car back. Would not recommend to anyone.

Got a flat and roadside assistance sent them out to help me switch to my spare. The driver arrived fairly quickly, and my issue was not with the job itself. To cap off my already frustrating circumstance, he (for no reason at all) decided to insult me directly for not knowing how to change a tire…which I can only assume is common for a large percentage of his customer base. Very glad my insurance covered the whole thing, because I definitely wouldn’t want any of my money going to someone like that.

My truck broke down a few nights ago, I hired Roadrunners towing to get me and my vehicle home safely. The driver arrived, loaded my vehicle on the flat bed, strapped the left rear tire, and headed off. Once at our destination the driver began removing my vehicle from the flatbed when all of a sudden my vehicle rolls off the flat bed out of control, crashing to the ground,causing damage to the front of the vehicle. After sending them photos per their request I was told I was being unreasonable and if I wanted anything from them to file thru small claims court. I couldn’t believe my ears! They damaged my vehicle and I’m being unreasonable??

Haven’t used them but certainly won’t after watching them drop someone’s Chevy. It was crazy! Not sure if they were hooking up or dropping off but they straight up dropped this truck and it started rolling down the road! Front end looked pretty messed up as a result. I couldn’t believe what I saw. I guess it’s amateur hour over there at roadrunner. I sure hope they made right by that poor dude.
