My truck got towed after I did my parking pass(which they charge money for on game days), then the lady on the phone was extremely unhelpful and hung up on me while I was trying to get everything worked out. I called back and she hung up on me again, after I got to the yard she threatened to hold my vehicle for another day because I was "being a difficult customer". Another situation is my buddy's car got towed 7 MINUTES after he parked! The tow truck driver even claimed that the engine was still hot and then still towed it. This is a predatory company and any business that uses bds towing for enforcing parking should be ashamed of them selves.
This is 2 situations of illegal towing and they're response is pay to get your car back or you ain't ever getting it back. Also not to mention the prices are incredibly unreasonable. Avoid this company at all costs!
David was great, even in a stressful situation for me. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, calm, and respectful. He explained everything clearly, answered my questions kindly, and handled my vehicle with care. You can tell he is experienced and takes pride in doing his job the right way. He is an empathetic person, who didn’t just treat me like a number. If you ever end up in a crappy situation, I hope you get David, he represents the company well.
David was incredible! After dealing with a couple of really frustrating towing experiences in the past, it was refreshing to receive service from David. He showed up when he said he would, introduced himself, and clearly explained what he was doing. He was clear and kind on the phone and explained everything in detail in person. He was calm, professional, and respectful the entire time. Instead of making a tough situation worse, he actually made it easier. He handled my vehicle carefully and didn’t rush through the job like other companies have.
Rip-off Bussiness! You tow cars where parking is allowed. We're going to report you, and I hope Brazos County stops your illegal practices and abusive charges. And the woman you have answering calls is useless. She can't listen, hangs up after seconds, and blocks the numbers. She should at least listen, because how do you expect us not to be upset when you’re extorting us by holding the car and demanding $400 to release it? And that's just for a few minutes while we realize you’ve taken it from a place that's clearly designated for visitors and where parking is allowed. You're shameless.
Was parked in a guess spot at the Rise and have been towed by this company many times. Was next to a big sign that said after hours parking. Rude on the phone and very predatory. They camp out by the apartments to go after college students.
Bds took great care and was speedy. Justin did a great job getting my truck and myself off the road and home. I definitely recommend Bds. Good price and fast response. Thanks Justin and bds
our building has a contract with them. when we call, either they never show up or they take 2 hours to get here. by the time they get here, the cars are already gone.
I was scared, stranded on the shoulder of a dark rural road with a flat tire. I called BDS towing and Justin got to me within 30 minutes and saved my life… ok so, he didn’t actually save my life, but boy did it feel that way to me at the time. So thanks again Justin for your promptness and professionalism. Thank you for fighting with that lug nut that wouldn’t budge until it did. Thank you Justin, because of you I got home safely.
Heavily damaged my car when I needed a tow, they did not reimburse or take any accountability. Immensely unprofessional. Definitely do NOT recommend them.
My car was being towed away earlier today at a schools parking lot due to being in the wrong kind of parking, but as I explained to Aaron that all the proper parking for visitors where full and I was just about to be leaving he allowed me to get my car back right then and there. He’s a cool hard working dude and I wouldn’t mind having to talk with him if I got towed again.
I recently had a tree fall on my car. I called BDS and they promptly showed up and had the tree lifted in no time. Very professional. I will be using their service again.
Greedy people. Parked on private property where no sign of towing or a warning and waited till early morning to tow my car. 320 to get it back is ridiculous. Just ripping off students when there’s no overnight parking anywhere.
I had a frustrating experience with BDS Towing. I was picking up my daughter and stepped out of my truck for about 10-15 minutes. When we returned, I found their driver hooking my truck up to tow. I understand the need for parking permits, but the way the driver acted was unacceptable.
When I identified myself as the owner, he cowardly ran to his truck and ignored me. Not allowing me to pay a drop fee. According to Texas law, I should have been given the opportunity to pay after the hook, but that clearly didn’t happen. I’ve already filed a complaint with the TDLR about their practices.
If you encounter this company, I recommend having your phone ready to document the situation. This is not how a business should operate
First time I had to get my car towed, and the experience was fantastic. My goat Aaron was communicative, fast, careful with my car, and super friendly. Would highly recommend king Aaron, he is awesome.

Had a flat tire while driving to CS and while this was my first experience with a towing company, it was an overwhelmingly positive one. They were friendly, highly professional (shoutout to Aaron), and got my vehicle to the shop in a timely manner. I 100% recommend them!

My alternator on my F-250 gave up the ghost on HWY 290, not much around but a lot of traffic. Called BDS Towing & Recovery and Joey found me in 10 minutes! Great Rig, great guy and had me at the Ford dealership in 40 minutes. Then offered to take me elsewhere for an AC establishment due to dealer Bing closed! BDS and Joey saved the day, God Bless them!

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about these guys. I called so many places and no one could help me ... I was stuck on the side of the road and really didn't know what else to do but wait for the police 😔, I looked for anyone to give me a tow some where safe, googled one more time and my phone came up with BDS TOWING. BDS Towing & Recovery is the most professionalized company I have ever worked with. Starting with the dispatcher who received my call and asked all the right questions to the driver showing up so prompt and handling my vehicle with so much care and to top it off Kendall who is the manager called to make sure the job was completed and to make sure I was as satisfied. BDS Towing hands down has the best team under there belt!
Josh Hester with this towing service was honestly the best towing experience I've ever had! He went above and beyond helping me, where he even came back after he got off and helped me fix my car! I would highly recommend this company with him as an employee 100% 😃 and I can just imagine how great the rest of the employees are! Will continue to use this company everytime I need a tow! Called BDS as they were recommended by the repair shop I had to get my vehicle to. They arrived when they said they would. The driver was super nice and very personable. Got my vehicle loaded on the truck, no issues and safely delivered to the shop. Very reasonable tow rate. Would use these folks again!
I highly recommend BDS in Bryan if you need your motorhome towed. They did a great job towing mine to the shop. Other tow companies in town wouldn’t touch it because they were afraid they would damage the motorhome.
I do not recommend this incompetent company at all. Was quoted 500.00 for truck to get pulled out by company owner. Tow truck showed up and pulled truck at an angle and caused truck to get stuck worst, and equipment failed on down rigger. Company decided to get winch on bobcat to help with pull. Company then increased charge to 800.00 due to their incompetence and faulty equipment. Do not use this company!!!!
Very quick and friendly service, helped me pick up and move a broken buggy on the flatbed. Even assisted me in pushing it over to its covered spot after we got it down; not an easy task! Very fair price
BDS pulled two old project trucks out of my field and loaded them onto a step deck trailer with zero issues. It couldn't have went any smoother. Thank you BDS!!!
We had our box truck stuck in the mud due to some poor planning on our part, and BDS Towing saved the day. I highly recommend this wrecker/towing company. The tow truck driver (Joey) arrived when he said he would, got straight to work. Joey pulled our truck out of the mud with the winch with no issues. BDS prices were fair and competitive with other tow services. We called at 8pm on a friday night and he arrived within 30 min. Great Service and unbeatable competence. Thank you BDS.
