One of the best experiences I have ever had. They were so kind and more than fair with pricing. Helped me trouble shoot a few problems even though they didn't do that type of work in their shop. They have been around for a long time for a reason!
I was passing through Pickens and had an hour and a half drive ahead of me when my low tire pressure light came on unexpectedly. I got a huge bolt stuck in my tire and I could hear the air actively leaking out of my tire. I drove up and explained my situation and the guys fixed the tire immediately. I appreciate their understanding and willingness to make me a priority despite their busy schedule. Great price and was in and out within 20 minutes! Though I don’t live in Pickens, these guys were incredibly welcoming and I will stop through here again without question!
Run away as fast as you can. This place is disgusting, the people who run it are BEYOND rude, and they are the opposite of trustworthy. You've been warned.
John is our "go to" for servicing our Lexus and Mercedes. Lexus Dealership told me when I had an oil service completed that I needed hundreds if not a thousand plus dollars in brake work including rotors. Dropped off at John's and he called and said brakes were just fine. He is trustworthy and where local police take their vehicles. Highly recommend.
Pace & Reeves was recommended to me as a reliable auto shop in Pickens when my "check engine" light came on. John and his team quickly did the diagnosis, ordered a part and a few days later repaired the issue. They kept me apprised of the progress at every step during the process. I felt completely confident that they would not only provide the best service, but also provide it at a reasonable price. I was very satisfied with the outcome - my "check engine" light is off and now I have a reliable mechanic to go back to when I need to. Highly recommend!
The owner was nice however someone stole my brand new speakers that were still in the box. What's so bad about it is that my speakers were in my trunk.
Our car broke down on Hwy 11. We tried 3 tow companies that were recommended and not one of them answered their phone or called back after leaving a message. I did a google search and called Pace and Reeves based on the reviews. They answered the phone right away and had a truck there in about 15mins. The tow driver was very nice and professional. We will definitely start giving them our business for other car services. Great customer service!
Get stuck anytime, call P & R. Repairs are quick. Car repair is never cheap but many shops go by a book on how long a certain repair would take and price it accordingly. This shop does a good job. If they didn't they wouldn't have been around so long.
My Daughter was camping in area and my truck broke down AAA towed her to Pace and Reeves. late in day they replaced the alternator and got her back on the road. They fix the truck for a fair price and took care of my daughter.
They treat Women with respect.
Good guys that get the job done! I highly recommend them for there towing service and car maintenance,tires,batteries belts. They take care of all mechanical problems. ?
I was told break lines were being replaced and they were only spliced and have now blown out.. so i paid $200 for them to "fix" a problem and now have to pay someone again to fix what they shouldve fixed the first time. Terrible shop
Where else can you go and pull up to the gas tank, have someone pump your gas, check your oil, fluids and belts or tire pressure all for the price of a fill up? Awesome place! My dad always did business here and I love going when I'm in town visiting him. Great people run this place...honest, hometown folk.
