One of the best in automotive repair in the Charleston area! My truck was experiencing starting issues. Had it towed to them and they were able to diagnose and repair it in three days. The communication and professional service was beyond anything I have experienced in the automotive industry.

Amazing service from a great team! Communication about the job was fast and everything was clearly explained. They really helped me out with a unique situation and even took special care to make my kids feel special.

They went above and beyond to get my Jeep fixed. After my car died and I was in a rush, they got it towed and to their place and found the root cause. Great auto garage, very clean and high degree of professionalism!

A clean shop with people who care about serving their customers and doing the right thing. I have brought my SUV here for repairs and maintenance, and I have found them to be very accommodating, friendly, thorough, and professional. They offered me a ride once to another destination while my SUV was there most of the day. I also waited once for an oil change. The waiting room is very comfortable, and the employees are extremely nice. Definitely returning in the future and would recommend them.

After another shop told me they couldn’t even figure out what was wrong with it and to take it to the dealer, Christian Brothers not only fixed it, but did so with a smile and even shuttled me home and back while they completed the repairs. I recently took my Volvo XC90 in for an oil change. They did a complimentary inspection and sent a detailed description with photos attached. I did not feel pressured to get anything else serviced at the time. The shuttle service was particularly great, so I didn’t have to wait there. The oil change was a good price. All staff I interacted with were super professional, helpful, and friendly. I’ve already recommended to many friends.

I would really caution anyone taking their vehicle to these guys. They were great about getting me in and the scheduling process was perfect. However their estimate for work was way out of control. They wouldn’t provide me a physical quote with breakdown of parts and labor. The estimate called out high level repairs only (zero detail) When I asked about labor hours they verbally explained them but they were stacking them not running them together. Meaning for each line item of work they were adding them together even when they would be working in the same area. So for example a 2 hr brake job and say 2 hr rotor replacement. They’d charge for 4 hours … no it’s more like 2.5 or 3 max. The parts they told me needed to be replaced they claimed they don’t sell full assemblies so they would have to buy individually and assemble (this was a straight up lie) and they talked about potentially reusing one component (which was good but not a very expensive part) When someone tells me a repair cost $4500… I need some real details. When I look at the total cost of me buying the parts and it’s under $1000… I start doing more math. When they tell me is 6.5 hours of work….. I calc backwards the shop rate is over $500 an hr…. I have gone to Christian Brothers for my Ford F-150 for a couple years now & they are always great! Super friendly & helpful staff. They always keep you informed of the status of your vehicle and I've never had to wait too long for whatever work needs to be done including ordering parts & labor. Love this place, I highly recommend it!

Everything about this experience was positive. Every employee was kind and attentive. More than that though, this was the first time I felt like a mechanic was honest about what my car actually needed. There were some attempted upsells, but I don't think anything was unnecessary. After I declined, they moved on to the issue at hand. For friends in Charleston, I would send them here in a heartbeat!

I brought my car in two weeks ago, and from the start the experience amazing. Every person I interacted with was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. Jordan, in particular, has been incredible—he’s been my main point of contact, and I’m so grateful for his support. The issue with my vehicle was complicated and far from a routine repair, but Jordan took the time to get a very detailed description of the problem. I truly appreciated not being dismissed or made to feel like I was being silly. He kept me informed throughout the process and showed real empathy for the situation I was facing. That kind of care means a lot in today’s world where I think people genuinely care about only themselves no matter what and most likely I’m having to get these repairs done 6 months into the purchase. Jordan helped restore some of my very jaded faith in humanity. I’m so thankful I found this place and can’t recommend them highly enough. I’ll definitely be bringing my vehicle back—hopefully just for regular maintenance next time! Either way, they’ve earned a lifelong customer

Very clean office, friendly and helpful staff. Took my car in after realizing it had been about 3 years since my last oil change and they sent over a detailed report of issues (with photos and video) they discovered and called to go over it. It was ready the day after I dropped it off and no one made me feel ashamed for being a bit of a negligent car owner. Pretty affordable and the service was great, they even offered to pick me up and bring me to my car once it was finished!

This was my third time going to Christian Brothers and everyone in there is always so nice. Everyone seems happy calm and relaxed. My oil change and complementary inspection was timely and efficient. They gave me a ride home and came and picked me up. I like the fact that they’re closed on the weekend For their employees and families. That is true respect! I definitely recommend.

This is the most profession, honest, well equipped auto garage I’ve ever been to. The property is beautiful, well organized, amazing waiting room and an extremely polite and friendly staff.I stopped for an oil change and was offered a complimentary inspection. Following, I was told my car was in perfect conditions and I’d need tires in about 10k miles.As a female, I truly appreciate honest service. Outstanding business, I would not hesitate trusting them for your auto repair needs.

Very overpriced and unclear charges I was charged over $700 just to change the front brakes and rotors, which is way more than what I’ve paid at other places for the exact same job. On top of that, they added an extra $50 charge on the invoice without clearly explaining what it was for. When I called to ask, the person told me it was “for materials they use in the shop like rugs and stuff.” Honestly, that’s the first time I’ve ever heard something like that. I had the same work done on the same car at another shop for almost half the price. Be careful and make sure to get a detailed estimate before agreeing to any work here.

I was impressed to see that each finding came with clear explanations and even videos showing the exact parts with issues. The videos explained what each part does, why it matters, and the symptoms you might notice when something’s wrong. It was incredibly informative, and I really appreciated that. What I also love about Christian Brothers Automotive is that it’s a true team effort — not just one person working on your car, but a whole group ensuring everything is done right. No matter where I am, I always look for a CBA. They could be 50 miles away, and I’ll still make the trip. I trust no one else with my car.

They care for their customers like no other. They went out of their way to accommodate my tight schedule and got both of my work vans taken care of even when they were fully booked. I can’t recommend them enough!

I had such a great experience with Christian Brothers. They repaired my bumper quickly and professionally, and also went above and beyond to help track down an unusual sound my car was making. They thoroughly checked everything they could, kept me updated along the way, and were so kind about it. Even though the sound turned out to be tricky to pinpoint, they didn’t charge for the time they spent investigating. I truly appreciate their honesty, effort, and customer care. Highly recommend!

Called and made an appointment for an oil change. Arrived on time, they offered a free routine checkup. Was told the price just the oil change. I was offered water or coffee. They said it would be approximately an hour, and offered me a courtesy ride home. I decided to just wait. The waiting area was extremely clean. Very comfortable seating. They have a wall with a counter and charging stations and stools. I received a text showing me the air filters, a nice gentleman came and got my approval to change the filters. I was asked if I was ok & if I needed anything. They honored the coupon I received in the mail. Brought my vehicle up to the front door. Very nice experience. Highly recommend this business. I will definitely be a return customer

The CB location on Folly Road staff and auto mechanics are highly experienced in American and European cars. They’ve worked on my MB Sport SL500, including new front brakes and rotors; resolving a malfunction sensors with 100% success. My rating A+

Christian Brothers were fabulous in repairing a vehicle that they were unfamiliar with and did a great job on the repairs would highly recommended them on any family car or SUV and Levi with especially caring to make sure everything was correct, Kelly kept me updated on my billing so that I had no surprises, would certainly never hesitate bringing any of my cars to them
