First time here. Came in after lunch for an issue. Thought it wouldn't be ready until Monday. Dennis was an absolute Rockstar and got me ready super quick! Prices better than what I was expecting as well. Great people and work!

Folly Road Auto is pure integrity. I brought my car in to see what was wrong with it, the service fee ended up being the best advice I’ve received for the car…it isn’t worth the value of repairs! Time to start ACTUALLY car shopping. Thank you Folly Road Auto Repair Team! Quick diagnosis, easy scheduling and fast turnarounds, 10/10 would recommend!

Prompt scheduling, quick work, excellent customer service. Even after I mentioned a concern about a part when dropping off, I was guaranteed on the follow-up phone call that there was nothing to be worried about and that the part had quite a bit of mileage left in it. Most shops would have tried to sell me the part and all of its neighbors. I appreciate the honesty, y'all got my business moving forward. Thank you Dennis

Folly Road Auto Repair replaced my inferior battery with a high end one. I waited only a few short minutes for the new battery to be delivered to the shop and installed! Everyone was friendly and I highly recommend this company.

Took my Silverado to shop on JAN 23 to have problem analyzed and information sent to Car Shield. Car Shield approved work which was replacing thermostat and wiper motor. This work was completed on Jan 26. I would highly recommend Folly Rd Auto for all auto repair needs.

After an oil change and inspection at Honda, a long list of issues suddenly came up on my 2014 Honda CR-V — along with a very expensive quote. I called Folly Auto Repair for a second opinion and they quoted me almost half of what Honda was charging, if not more, and got everything done faster than Honda could. The process was incredibly easy — I just dropped the car off in their lot and put the key in the mailbox. No hassle at all. They’re also very friendly and take the time to explain what’s actually wrong with the car, what needs to be fixed now, and what can wait. That kind of honesty is hard to find. I trust them completely, and it’s not surprising why they’re so highly recommended by everyone in town.

The service at Folly Rd. Auto Repair is excellent! They got me in quickly when I needed rotors & brakes and the price was very reasonable! Will definitely be back when needed!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The guys at Folly Road Auto Repair were quick and accurate. I appreciate transparency and directness, which they had. I don’t want to go somewhere that tries to upsell me on every little thing and that didn’t happen at FRAR. 5 stars. Thanks again!!

These guys were amazing and so down to earth. They fixed my broken fog light for half the labor estimated by a competitor. The competitor wanted to remove my entire bumper but these guys knew better to go through the wheel well. I brought a part that was not an exact fit but they figured out how to make it work and save me a ton of stress. i was from out of town and they did not take advantage of me. i plan to come here from North Carolina for any major work in the future. This is a long term family shop and they lived up to their good reputation.

Great job repairing the brakes on my Lexus! They were quick, and efficient, and even found another problem that I had in the brake system that I didn’t know about. I appreciated them putting floor mats down so that they kept my interior clean. Very polite and pleasant to work with.

Dennis did a great job at getting my car fixed and back to me. He fixed issues that firestone caused. I have had a heck of a time dealing with firestone on folly road so i decided to try Folly Road Auto and it has been nothing but success and I feel confident that all issues were fixed and I was very satisfied with the price and timeline. They are a super busy shop but I would go back anytime I need something done.

I knew the people involved And had heard about their excellent reputational report for a long, long time.. that this business has been a family business for a long time assuming it still is but it sure seems like one. Everybody went out of their way to make it easy for me. There were a lot of weird things wrong with my car and it took it some time for it to be sorted out- it’s a BMW and so has all those little chips and things, but They worked nonstop until they got down the bottom of it all, and when I got in my car, it was/is driving better than it has in years. I can’t say enough. not just about the really great job they did but about the way I was treated from start to finish. I highly recommend that anybody feel confident going here. I had my Toyota Tacoma towed in with a bad alternator in the morning, and it was fixed by the end of business the same day. Folly Road Auto was recommended to me by the tow truck operator and I couldn’t be more pleased with the price and how quickly they got me back on the road.

They aren’t punctual, and they do not want to get back to you. Their pricing is not fair. My car sat there for a week and they didn’t do anything. They quoted me before running a diagnostic, and actually knowing what the problem was. I would take my car anywhere but here!

Brought my vehicle in for an issue and they drag their feet for 2 months with my vehicle. I finally was able to go and retrieve my truck and have it towed to another shop at 8 am and that shop called me the noon the same day and said my truck was fixed. I really wanted to give them a negative 10 but they don't have it listed!!

During my 11-hour drive moving to Charleston, my engine light suddenly came on. The next morning I called them right away, and they got me in immediately. Within just a couple of hours, they diagnosed and fixed the issue completely. The whole team was incredibly kind, competent, and honest, and their pricing was very fair. They truly went above and beyond to help someone new to the area and turned a stressful situation into an easy one. I highly recommend Folly Road Auto Repair to anyone needing car repairs!

While traveling from Atlanta to Folly my car overheated about an hour out. I pulled into an Exxon and realized antifreeze/coolant was leaking. I bought and added more and happened to have a very nice couple guys help me out and one told me his family has a repair shop right on the way super close to our destination. I thought that was a God thing, what are the odds? I called them as soon as I got on my way since they were about to close. I was told I could drop it off the next morning. I got there about 10-sh and they took my car back before my Uber even pulled up. I got back to Folly and rented a golf cart for the day. I received a call a couple hours later asking for me to verify what happened because they had it running from the time I left and it seemed fine. I was confused because I KNOW there was a leak since there was coolant EVERYWHERE when it overheated on the road. And I had to add almost an entire gallon of coolant at the Exxon. I quickly got a call back saying it needed new coolant hoses and a thermostat. While I'm on the phone I am repeating this out loud so my son can hear and he agreed that's what he thought. When I said how much it would be my son immediately looked up the pricing for the parts and we both thought HOLY Crap, their labor must be through the roof. I called my dad to give him an update because I had called him as soon as it overheated to let him know we were having issues. II told him what they had told me and he said that sounds right but was also floored at my total. My dad had changed the oil and he and I went over all the fluids together before we left for this trip. I had just got new tires and also fixed the A/C compressor. I had wrecked the car back in April and had a lot of work done but it still had a small oil leak which my dad discovered was the oil pan. Dad went over it with a fine tooth comb before we left to insure our safety. He told me to take some oil with me and make sure to check it when we stopped for gas or to stretch our legs. When I got there to pick the car up, I paid and got on my way. I should have looked at the receipt then and there but didn't realize until I got home that the reason this cost so much more than expected was in fact for a radiator and the labor to remove and replace that radiator. I was never told about a new radiator. They just said coolant hoses and a thermostat! When I called and questioned about it I was told he was looking at the radiator that they had replaced and he sent me a picture. When I saw what he was talking about I KNEW it wasn't the truth because I had seen a new one with my own eyes while my dad was changing my oil. I called dad to verify and he said yes there was a new radiator in the car before we left. MY mechanic that ACTUALLY replaced it said that when I wrecked my car it had split the radiator and there is no way I would have made it back home from his shop much less 4 hours into my trip. I was charged $383.37 TOO MUCH. What should have cost a little over $200 ended up almost $600. Basically took food out of our mouths until I can catch back up financially or they won't have a very good Christmas this year. Lesson learned, but how the hell do you take advantage of a widow trying to give the kids a vacation to relax and detach from their lives?? Shame on these guys.

Great experience! I was recommended to try this shop out and they didn’t fail. Needed a motor replaced and not only did they do a great job, my truck was ready faster than quoted. 10/10 recommend Folly Road Auto Repair

If they can't handle something directly, then they immediately let me know with advice as to who can. Always a great deal and the quickest service and turn around possible. Great people, location, and service!

Our Explorer broke down on Vacation. The local Ford dealer was zero help. We found Folly on a Google search. Dennis was awesome! He got us right in, fixed and back on the road quickly and was a pleasure to work. Also, all at a reasonable price (we are on vacation and had no options so they could have put it to us big time if they were not honest) Highly Recommended!

Brought my vehicle in to have the AC diagnosed because it didn't blow cold air. It was recommended to replace the service ports. I declined. Cost $138. Another mechanic told me absolutely nothing was wrong with the service ports.

Was in a road trip from Canada, came in with an import vehicle - 2004 Toyota Hiace from Japan, with a worrying noise like keys jangling over bumps. These guys got me back in the road with no more noise and a lot of difficulty for a good price. This was 2 1/2 weeks ago - I waited to do this review to let you know that we put on another 8500 KMs since we were in, through Texas, AZ, NM, Oregon and home to BC - and your repair still held the whole way. Thanks for getting us set and helping to save our family vacation, it was much appreciated!

We were having trouble getting an appointment at our usual spot for an oil change and tire service, so we decided to give this place a call—and we’re glad we did. They got us in right away, finished everything the same day, and charged exactly what we were expecting. The service was fast, reliable, and hassle-free. Since then, we’ve started bringing all of our family cars here. Highly recommend them for their efficiency, honesty, and no-nonsense approach.

Very honest and great customer service! I’ll be taking all of my vehicles here from now one. I have a 2017 vehicle that was idling rough and my dashboard lit up. I drove to the closest option (dealership). They kept it for several days running test to trouble shoot it. They provided a quote (around 7k) for the needed repairs. I called Folly Road Side Repair based on reviews and got my vehicle there. Within 1 day, they identified the issue and saved me over 6K in making the needed repairs. This team is fair, efficient, and overall excellent! Highly recommend them!
