Fast and courteous. The fork operator got off his equipment and gave me an eye to see how close I was getting so I didnt have to bump the docks. Great people here.
They added a new turn in and scale so its even more functional. If you can be early for an appointment call them and ask first theres no room for staging. Picture for reference of the new layout. Go in on blue exit on red.
Broker made error and sed it was fcfs. Got lucky and checked in a hr early before appt time by dispatcher request. Strict appt time tho no early no late. Enter on morganza easy stuff just drive professional. Pull on scale and check in. Then they tell u where to dock then unloader beeped wen done then i hit the second scale by the exit and hand in papers then leave. I decided to pull up then back up then scale then back up then turn wide to leave lol. One way premises. Small place. Good hard working respectable ppl. Turn wide. Obv no overnight. Good unload.
Went from seemingly well run on tight appointments to an absolute shit show overnight. They changed the entrance and don't have it marked. All of the signs on the road take you to the old entrance where there isn't enough room to turn around if someone is on a dock. They have 1 flatbed and 1 van dock, you now have to go through the flatbed dock to get to the van dock. On top of the confusion that following the signs no longer takes you the right way, they came out yelling at everyone when I was there today telling us that it was our fault bc they told our dispatchers that they were changing the layout and were yelling and swearing at drivers instead of helping manage the mess. They did not set themselves up for the stupidity of the change they made and are taking it out on the drivers.
This place is tight. Loading was really quick and everyone working was nice. Idk why others are complaining. Took a total of 20mins to load and secure my load and get paperwork.
Things you should know before arriving to PU. You’re not allowed to stage early so, don’t arrive ahead of your scheduled appointment time. If you’re picking up you have to use the entrance off of Morganza Rd.
Was late for 915 delivery so got rescheduled for 1pm. Got unloaded super quick and while I was unboarding that I realized how hot is it n u r inhaling something not good 4 ur lungs n these guys were doing every week. Hope they get out of this job soon coz I can tell u that nobody would work their if they better options financially. And all negative comments r mostly from people like me who were late but I guess it's a matter of perspective.
I don’t know why there are so many negative comments about this place.
Tight space ? Yes it is.
They are strict with schedule ? Yes they are.
Because they have no place for truck parking which is understandable. Just be careful while driving in and out it’s a tight place.
Other than that no issues.
Receiving lady is Nice. Unloading person is nice and helpful to drivers. Professional drivers will face no problem delivering or picking up here.
Truck drivers do not come in here till 10min before your appointment brokerage lie lie it's by appt only very tight location and don't say boo to staff they run this place u will get know where but put out......easy solution cancel load or don't book it for this place definitely not worth the few pennies it pays I'd been way ahead running empty right pass this location this is a trashed out scrap yard hoping it doesn't wreck any tires
Easy In and Out, keep up with instructions the place its tight and a lot of Trucks in and out, so don’t be that one driver who fups, Unloading time 10 minutes, appointments are firm firm, do not show any time earlier unless its 5 minutes at max. Super friendly staff at check in and forklift driver’s as well!
Appointment at 11 am, receiver is changed to 1 pm , 10 minutes before appointment. Stay away! Lady in reviving needs to learn how to speak with people, definitely don’t know why she is still working there!
Show up at firm appt time. Pull onto scale, walk to office to check in. In and out in flat 30 mins.
Appt was 11:30 scaled in unloaded and out at 12:00 will definitely haul here again given the opportunity
If you show up a little to early you will be made to leave and come back. When I came back it still took almost 2 hours to get unloaded. They get a lot of trucks daily and only use 2 docks. Sometimes it's other drivers holding you up while they take their sweet time pulling up wood blocking.
