This is an upper end antique store with lots of true antique items, many Victorian. Almost like a museum. Everything was well displayed and clean. It was a lot of fun to look and shop.
Traveled over 9 hours to shop only to find no bathroom available to patrons. Unless you won the lottery or are independently wealthy don't bother. Many beautiful antiques just extremely overpriced.
I was so impressed by the quality and quantity of high end antiques in this lovely well organized and impeccable store! I visited for the first time yesterday’.. I’ve been an avid antique collector for decades’… and will definitely return’..I feel most prices are within range’..but some can trickle slightly’.. regardless’.. a treasure is a treasure’..❤️
Beautiful place! I was there this weekend for the first time and I can’t wait to go back. I had my eye on some stained glass the woman working came up and gave me additional info where to find some other pieces. She was so kind and nice to talk too. That kindness goes a long way!!!

This is by far the best antique store I've found in the Pittsburgh area. Lots of really good quality items, all well researched, and clearly labeled. Wide aisles, and spotless. No having to wash your hands after a good look around. Very nice variety. Not a bargain shop, but I found the prices to be generally fair. I will definitely be returning. Absolutely delighted with my finds.
My husband and I were visiting Pittsburgh last week and decided to go antiquing. The Antique Center of Strasbane is one of the best, genuine antique stores we have visited. If you are interested in true antiques and primitives, you know that those items are more expensive and for the reason of preserving historic items. If you are interested in cheap "antiques" then you need to visit your local thrift store. We loved Antique Center of Strasbane and had no problem paying the higher price knowing we were getting actual antiques and primitives.
Grossly overpriced. Honestly appalling the way they price gouge. You are better off going to vintage secretes antique mall down the street or the city mission thrift. Yes the pieces are in great condition but the prices are borderline offensive. Other places have same level of quality for much more reasonable prices. Do not recommend.
I visit this store monthly to see what new treasures have arrived. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions. You can find items of all different varieties and price points. This is a great place to find something unusual. I have never been disappointed by a visit!
I am an antique enthusiast and travel across the country looking for treasures. I walked into this nice and quaint antique shop full of hope. I walked to the first display and was immediately moved out of it by a rude customer. No big deal, I kept looking elsewhere in the store. It began to remind me more and more of a museum/Hallmark store hybrid. The prices were very much inflated but I expected that. Sadly, the staff were pretentious, egotistical and cold as others have mentioned. Specifically the owner who disputes every bad review with blatant denial. A very dry and unwelcoming atmosphere at the Antique Center of Strabane will result in my permanent absence from this location. If you haven’t visited yet, you would do well to cross it off your list.

Found a few things in a short amount of time, but did not purchase as I asked to use the rest room and was told to go to the bakery a few stores away.
No thanks. Supply your own restroom to YOUR customers. Just wrong to tell someone to go to another establishment to use THEIR restroom. We won't be back.
Would be 5 stars if I wasn't run out at 5:10 and they had some personality. Made me feel like, I was imposing on them, by patronizing their shop. I apologized as I put my debit card in the slot to pay...
Wow what beautiful store. Staff are superb. So many beautiful wonderful things. You have to stop by if in area. It's definitely worth the trip. My friend and I enjoyed ourselves immensely

Don't bother making an offer. Instead of calling the dealer with the ACTUAL OFFER you're making, the miserable lady who works the front desk will simply call them and ask "what's your best price knowing they will only do 10 or 15%." Then why tell customers they can offers?! That's NOT what making an offer is. That's manipulative and bad business. As many others have said the prices are incredibly high, far above fair market value. Search online and you'll often find the exact same item for a fraction of the cost. The lady who owns this shop is truly nasty for no reason. Just wait for canned response "please consider supporting an woman owned business". Why don't you please consider being nice to people! Why do you work in customer service/retail and have such a gross attitude towards customers! Also, if you are a dealer you should know that she is not telling you the offer that was made on your item! This woman is costing you sales not helping you earn business and repeat customers! I will never go back here ever. Here's a message directly for the rude lady: instead of responding with your canned passive aggressive comments, look in the mirror and truly ask yourself why you are so unhappy. Then come to work with a great attitude that is inviting and makes people look forward to shopping in your store!
We are avid antique shoppers (as well as having run our own antique business for years), and this was by far one of the best we've been in. Attentive customer service, friendly staff, clean, organized, and well presented shop. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend to avid antiquors, wanting quality, hard to find items. A must see!
Nice place and staff but some things are pricy I guess the people who have their own booth pick their prices but was going to buy a few older Wheat penny a year ago for my coin collection but they were Semi Key dates and I need them for my collection but they were priced at more then what the official coin Red Book valued them at so I did not pick them up. But still like going there though.
Antique Center of Strabane has the most unique selection of any store in the greater Pittsburgh area. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and kind. Great customer service!! I will add this is a TRUE antique store and NOT a thrift or consignment shop. If you want ANTIQUES and fair market price, this is the store for you!
I loved this shop! I found so many little treasures. Seems like really high quality stuff- and a wide range of prices. I found something for 5 dollars and something pricier, close to 300. So definitely something for everyone! I recommend stopping in!!
I shop the Antiques Center of Strabane as often as I can and always leave with nice finds for my home.
The owner, Kim, and her staff are always very helpful. There is a large group of active antique dealers in this antique center that always sell a wide range of “real” antiques that are very nicely displayed and priced very reasonably.
Such beautiful, one-of-a-kind treasures! I challenge you to find items like these in todays retail stores. There is reason these pieces still exist today, the craftsmanship is unparalleled in today's market. I find many lovely things to add to my home every time I go. Kim and her dealers are always super friendly and there to add their expertise. A must see when in the area!
This store is full of many over priced mediocre pieces. Don’t be fooled by their labels that have lofty prices and old dates. Sadly there are many reproductions and poor restoration jobs. The antiques are about as nice as the staff... Head across the street to antique junction for a better experience and better antiques. Unless you like paying double for a not very interesting trunk.
Owner is very knowledgeable and pleasant. The shop is well organized, clean and pleasing to the eye. All items are clearly marked with price tag. Employees very willing to assist with history of items and answer all questions. Highly recommend a visit here if you are anywhere near them. If not near, plan a trip-definitely worth the drive!!!!!
I love this place. I love just wandering through all the different setups and rooms. I love all the jewelry my love has found for me here over the years. You never know what your going to find, but you can also go there with a goal and find the perfect gift or decoration.
General-line antiques. A little something for everyone. Furniture and smalls... Mostly antiques lots of primitives with old-paint. Kitchen collectables, Etc. Will defiantly stop back in.
