Mike was very kind and thorough finalizing the sale. Only had it 2 days but very pleased with the purchase for our young drivers so far. 2013 Hyundai, low mileage, 1 owner. Thanks for the excellent experience! Very refreshing to find an honest, not pushy used car shop in the area. If you're looking for reliable transportation at reasonable prices, this shop is worth checking out. Inventory seems to turn over fairly often, so if you don't see what you are looking for immediately... periodically check their website... something that will fit your needs will eventually pop up if you're able to be patient.

We came across Good Value Cars while in search for a Toyota Tacoma Stick shift. I looked up the reviews for this place and everything was outstanding, I was actually trying to find a negative review and we couldn't find one that was legit. We were 100 miles away so I did my homework. I called the next day and talked to Ed and got all the information on the truck and asked him if he could send me the pictures of the frame, I just wanted to make sure there is no rust cause lots of the Tacomas we saw at our local dealers had rust on the frame. Ed told me he be happy to send me the pictures and he sent me 15 detail pictures which showed the frame be rust free and excellent shape. I made an appointment with Ed to come see the truck that afternoon. When we arrived the truck was pulled out of inventory and was ready for test drive. The pictures and information received were exactly as described upon arrival. We also want to say "thank you" for doing a courtesy hold while we took the long drive to get there. When we were ready to test drive they let you go on your own. Very low pressure and anytime we had a question Ed was happy to help us. We ended up leaving with our Tacoma and couldn't be happier. Last week buying from Good Value was my first experience buying from an independent used car lot....and it was a great one. I had originally test-driven an SUV a few weeks ago, but decided against it - there was no issue or pressure with that. Then after looking around, I came back to Good Value and ended up buying an 07 CR-V which was priced very fairly according to my extensive research. I had it independently checked and it was found to be almost perfect! I'm not a car expert but the process was smooth and friendly, and I never felt taken advantage of one bit. Highly recommend Ed and team!

I purchased my used Lexus RX350 from this used car dealer and couldn't be more happy with it. A small family owned business and very pleasant to work with. Ed was honest and we were able to work out a great deal for both of us. The vehicle was detailed impeccable! I had Bought a 2011 hyundai sonata GLS from good value cars 6/22/2023 and the engine seized due to no one properly servicing the vehicle and getting this extended warranty on the engine solved. Recall Campaign# 132 (GDI Inspection/replacement. Hyundai wont cover the cost of this vehicle I was told by phone from the Piazza Hyundai dealership in Pottstown that the estimated cost to replace the engine with a new engine would cost about $18,000 that's triple the cars value. to replace it with a used engine would run about $9,000 but there would be no warranty, and he pretty much said its a gamble. I still owe $7500 on this vehicle and don't understand how this would've happened given the cars only got 100k miles and only has had one prior owner. This car was he one we used to drive around our 1 year old daughter so I assumed it was reliable. And the vehicle started having problems 11.5 months offer the purchase. Not even a full year. And In that year I had it, I drove a total of 6k miles and gave it regular maintenance and oil changes. I provided my maintenance records and hyundai denied. In the picture below you can see I was speaking with Ed from good value cars Inc and he said he had no idea about the gdi engine issues at the time yet has seen many instances of this happening when the cars are properly maintained. He ignored when I asked about them being able to help with the $7500 I owe on a car that has no engine and he instead told me I can get a used engine for cheap. I can't afford 3k for a new engine ontop of these payments I have. I've been out of a car for about 2 months and now good value cars is just ignoring me. Never buy a car from them as they don't research the cars they buy and will tell you a recall from 2015 wasn't an issue with the car you bought in 2023. Because that makes sense. It seems like this was an issue with the car since 2011. The date the engine was put it. As I post this, good value cars chooses to ignore me and left me with payments on a car I can't use or afford. "Family owned since 1999, we take exceptional pride in providing reliable and dependable vehicle at great prices.".........the car I bought was neither reliable or dependable. I will be speaking with an attorney.

Purchased a Honda CRV here last year. The car was in immaculate condition and ran great! Unfortunately, I got in an accident last month and the car was totaled. Came back and saw Ed and he took great care of me. Purchased another Honda and i could not be any happier with my new car.

I cannot say enough good things about Ed and the whole buying experience at Good Value Cars Inc. We came from over an hour away to look at (and ultimately buy) a car from Ed. In an age where you’re constantly on guard for someone who’s gonna steal your wallet, these guys at Good Value Cars defy the odds. Dec-2023: Ed & his dad run this family biz together. I purchased a fairly high mileage, 1-owner Toyota from them and drove 110mi from NYC to Norristown, PA to buy it—sight unseen. I trusted them. The car was actually better! than described. Of course Ed sent dozens of extra picts. I negotiated a little off the asking price, but honestly, the car was easily worth what I paid for it. Ed & his dad know how to pick great cars. They buy mostly trade-in’s from local dealers…. not “auction cars” Thus explains the quality of cars on their lot. Great people – always the sign of a great business.

Purchased a Honda Accord coupe for my son today. After looking at a few other dealerships for cars they were a breath of fresh air. Ed answered all my questions (there were many) and made everything from test driving the car to purchasing the car very easy. We purchased a used Subaru from Good Value and dealt primarily with Mike. Mike was very nice and the car was in very good condition. They had obviously cleaned the car well beforehand, which is a small but much appreciated attention to detail. Mike made the process smooth even though we were purchasing from out of state. It seems like this is a family run business and both of his sons(and their dog) were all very nice as well. Buying a used car can be stressful, but Mike and his team made it easier for us. Very nice people, very easy to work with. I bought a 2008 Honda Fit from them to replace my 340k+ mile Yaris (cost to repair structural rust exceeded value of car.) The Fit is in pristine condition, and was priced very fairly. They took in my Yaris as a trade, which meant not having to deal with disposal/scrapping it myself (even with current used car pricing, the car was not worth trying to get rid of.) After a few weeks, the passenger rear tire kept losing pressure. When I took the Fit to my mechanic, they said the shocks were both in need of replacement. The cost to repair was just below the warranty deductible, and while I could have done it myself, I called Good Value Cars to ask if they could help. They brought me in immediately, and replaced the shocks at no cost (and with better replacements than I would have paid for on Rock Auto.) I would definitely recommend this dealership and will go back when the Fit hits 400k.

The manager was so polite and helped us with all our questions. He made sure we had time to test drive, talk it over and make the deal. The one gentleman was so happy to make sure the car was clean before we left the lot. We highly recommend Good Value Cars for all vehicle needs !

This place is perfect if you're looking for a reliable vehicle at a good price. We bought an older Civic here at a good price last October and it's served us well. I always replace fluids and wear items whenever I buy a used car, but was delighted to find they already replaced most of them. That all costs money and it's clear they care about reputation and customer satisfaction over max profit. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a reasonably priced car that will last for years to come.

My family in PA has bought 5 cars from them in last 15 years. 4 out of 5 cars are still in the family and been great cars. The other one was rear end while parked in front of my parents house middle of the night by a drunk driver. So When I moved back from Florida to KOP my daughter needed a car. I went on there website and liked couple of there low mileage Honda Civics. Thanx for them providing free car fax report on there website I found out both Civics were 1 owner with no accidents and decent service records. Went there late on a Friday night with my daughter (15 minutes before they were closing) to just quick look at both cars and maybe come back the next day to test drive them. They were happy to see us but in a genuine way " not the car sales man way", I introduce myself , Mike the owner greeted us and remembered my dad well and asked about him and family first. He showed us both cars and happily stayed past closing time and let us test drive the cars. we liked both cars, but my daughter liked the Ex model better because of the sunroof. We decided to purchase . No hard sell or pressure. Mike was great and had fun with us during the negotiations which didn't need much. Daughter was thrilled, her first car overall pleasant car buying experience. Mikes son stayed late and had the car cleaned up and ready for us. Thank you for pleasant experience for my daughters first car. She drives the car everyday to college and back and loves it!

He told me it was still there and that whenever I decided to come see it to call ahead first so I don't make a wasted trip. Next, I had a relative check out the car in which he was greeted and assisted by Ed. I was able to speak with him on the phone as well and when I got there. There was no hassle during the test drive. It was clean and accurately described. He answered every question presented. When I went back to pick up the car, Mike and his other son (I'm sorry, I forgot his name) were very pleasant and assisted to make sure when I pulled off, all was well. After having a horrible experience with a "big name dealer" last year, I took a shot on Good Value Cars. Absolutely the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. Ed was up front about everything, the price was very fair, the extra warranty offered had different tiers and was decent. Had a minor issue with the sensor the first week after I bought it and they took care of it with no hassle. No hidden fees in the purchase price and the car was represented very accurately in the pictures posted online. I would absolutely recommend coming here instead of one of the big dealerships. Hard to find honest car salesmen, but these guys are the genuine deal.

I've waited for some time to post my rating as I was curious to see what happened. I was drawn in by the great pricing and good value deal. The civic I bought was immaculate. Inside and out. Once I drove the car a few minor things were wrong and they quickly fixed them. Several months into my owning the car the transmission started slipping. (it seemed once it got cold it had some problems) I called the warranty company (every car comes with a warranty) and they were very pleasant to deal with and put me in contact with a transmission shop. The warranty company paid for the 50% they owed and I had no problems, the owner Mike contacted me as well saying he heard there was a problem with the car and wanted to see how he could help. He felt bad there was an issue, and I know when I first bought it the transmission was fine, he said they wanted all their customers to be satisfied so he offered some extra assistance to take some of the burden of a new transmission cost off of me. I have never had any car dealer reach out to me and ask how they could help. I was blown away. I would definitely recommend Good Value Cars to anyone looking for a great deal and great owners.

I love my new Toyota Camry. I found out about Good Value Cars after a friend of my mine purchased his car from there. He told me how much he liked his new car and what a great deal he got. I went to their website and found a few cars that i was interested in. All of their cars come with a carfax report and warranty. I went in on a Saturday and fell in love with the 2003 Camry. It drove really smooth and was under the Kelly Blue Book price. Their sales staff are very friendly and upfront. I have owned the car for 2 months now and have no complaints. Will not hesitate to refer them to anyone looking for a used car and a reasonable price.

I had a few issues with buying a car at first. I made sure to TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC and, once checked by a mechanic, and an issue was brought up to the mechanic prior to my buying it, Good Value did A GOOD JOB OF FIXING THE ISSUE. a good used car is hard to find especially in my price range ($4,000). I wound up with a 99 corolla with 99,000 miles. The car has been good to me so far. I have had it for over a month and am pleased with how it runs. GET THE CAR CHECKED BY A MECHANIC first AND ANY ISSUES WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF BY GOOD VALUE CARS. THEY WILL BE GOOD ON THEIR WORD and really try to please the customer BUT YOU NEED TO BE SCRUPULOUS ABOUT YOUR PART OF CHECKING THE CAR prior to buying it at any used car place. I did not buy the 3 month warranty. I checked out at least 20 other cars at other places (and other cars at good value) before deciding on the one at Good Value... and so far so good. I am satisfied with how the cars work right now.

I recently bought a Nissan from here and have had a very bad experience. It has been a nightmare that never ends. the car had problems from day 3 of buying it. Major trouble with the engine shaking and oil consumption. The owner is a sweet talker and makes tall promises. I was foxed by his extremely charming personality believing all the while he will actually help fix the problem. He played with me over 2 months during which my car was with him most of the time and i had to visit him almost 20 times just to pick up and drop the car. He sells a warranty is extremely willing to include it in the price of the car and earns commission for selling that warranty, A warranty that is not useful as it never covered the problem with this car. I understand that used cars can have problem and would have been able to appreciate if Mike would have helped solve the problem which cropped up as soon as i bought it. This is even if i give him the benefit of the doubt that he did not know about it at all which i do find hard to believe after having lived through this harrowing experience all this while. In all these many visits i have seen many other customers coming to get problems resolved for cars which they had bought from him.
