We had a terrible snow storm this past Sunday and through it all, Pep Boys sent a tow truck, got my car started and replaced a battery in under an hour.

3 hours for installation of two tires which is ridiculous. Ordered them online and had them shipped there. This is with an appointment at 8 am (when they open, so I was one of the first appointments for the day). Never ever again.

I made an appointment earlier this week to have a new set of tires installed. When I arrived the next day for my appointment, I was told the tires were out of stock. I was assured that they could be transferred from another location and installed later that same day or first thing the next morning, and that I would receive a call with an update. I never received that call. When I followed up myself, the guy I spoke with said nobody ever brought the tires over but he would pick them up personally, and that I would again be called back. That call never came either. It has now been four days with no communication. I don’t understand why I was scheduled and asked to come in if the tires were not available, and I find it unprofessional that no one followed up as promised. This experience was a complete waste of my time, and I don’t appreciate being treated this way. I took off from work to be there for no reason. Judging by some of the other reviews I read, this appears to be an ongoing problem with this store. As a result, I will not be returning and I will look somewhere else to buy my tires.

I’m giving it two stars based on the customer service at the front, or else I would give it zero. The guy at the front was very nice. However, I’m not sure what the purpose of scheduling an appointment is and letting them know you will be waiting in the lobby versus doing a drop off. I waited almost 3 hours for my inspection to be completed, when two of those hours my car sat in the front lot. I could’ve theoretically came to check-in, left and went home for two hours and came back all before they pulled my car to the back, even though I had an appointment. Maybe they shouldn’t provide the option for you to schedule an appointment if they are super booked for that day.

I made an appointment online—which I received text and email confirmations for—to have two of my tires replaced, and pre-ordered the tires to ensure they were in stock. I'm very glad I set it to pay in store, because I didn't even get past the counter. When I arrived, I said I had an appointment, explained what the appointment was for, and was then told all of the technicians were actually scheduled to leave at the time of my appointment (the earliest I could set online because of the ordered tires), but that I could "keep my appointment and come back tomorrow," which is not how an appointment works, last I checked. Based on the other reviews, I'm really glad I got to find out quickly just how disorganized things are so I can find somewhere else to go.

Talked to a guy on the phone who told me the tires I needed would be there the next day and scheduled my appointment. When I arrived the guy says the tires aren’t there nor had they even been ordered. I was also getting my brakes done so he suggests they do that today and I come back for the tires in a few days. I leave the car and at 1 pm I get a text saying the car was done. I arrive at 2:15 only to find out that the mechanic forgot to do my rear brakes and that he was doing them now and it would be a 35 minute wait. I waited in their tiny, uncomfortable waiting area for an hour and 15 minutes! The guys there were rude and unfriendly and couldn’t have cared less. No apology or any acknowledgment of how they wasted my time. Then when I tell the guy that I’m not getting tires there, he seems annoyed! As if I would ever go back to that place!

more than two hours for a standard oil change? only after an hour and a half did i ask and up front they told me i was getting a full inspection. would’ve been nice to know before i decided to wait.

This is by far the least efficient place I’ve ever been to. Even though I had an appointment — not a walk-in — it still took them almost four hours just to install two tires. And I had already brought my own tires, so there was no need to order anything. I seriously do NOT recommend this place.

Roy- rude unorganized . Entire shop frustrating. I got my brakes switched here and they ruined them. I don't even think i needed new brakes but i asked their opinion, they said i did. Then I had screeching brakes. Kept going back to fix it (5+ times) then I had to pay more money for higher quality brakes (already paid $800) and they are still squeaking every time I stop! Even simple procedures , don’t go here. Pros- WiFi, sitting area, bathroom

I had an appointment and they were backed up, and that's fine because it happens. What doesn't usually happen is what I experienced. I get there talk to the tech who's a bit short with me, which is fine, I know you're busy. I hand him my keys and sit down. While waiting, another man comes in and demands his car back because they've had it for a while. The argument was intense enough that other people sitting in the front moved to the back were I was sitting. He then leaves and I wait for an oil change. After an hour, I had to get back to work, so I asked if they started on my car. The tech said they hadn't started yet so I asked for my car back so I could reschedule. He grumbled then threw his pen on the desk out of what seemed to be frustration, then walked away while asking which car was mine. I tell him, and pulls the pouch from the garage to come back in. Back at the desk, he takes my keys out and tosses them on the desk in front of me, then stares in silence. I say thank you and have a good day then leave. I get that being slammed at work and berated by customers is terrible, but it's not an excuse to disrespect others that are also in a time crunch just like you. I hope they get more help and/or resources so that they aren't in this position again, but I will not be returning to anytime soon.

Very sad with the change in personnel here. Always took my 3 cars here but no more. Angel was so rude when I pointed out an inappropriate charge. He said that technician was no longer there so not his problem. No store pride to stand behind the work they do…. I’m going elsewhere. We do have options. So much for Pep Boys “testing you the way they would want to be treated.” Go elsewhere!!

First, this was not a first visit and I had a scheduled appointment. First, I was not greeted or addressed upon arrival and stood waiting for the desk attendant while he took several calls coming in; one being a customer checking on status of completion of a vehicle and another to cancel and reschedule an appointment. Why they weren't put on hold while the desk rep at least acknowledged me. The desk attendant was generally unpleasant once he did address me. He seemed annoyed when told I would be waiting for my car as it was just an oil change. He stated there were two vehicles ahead of me that might take a long time. I questioned "isn't that why I made an appointment?" If my service is scheduled for 10am wouldn't it be serviced promptly as the other vehicles did not have a customer waiting on site? Maybe my thinking is wrong on that?? While seated, I watched the desk rep treat two other customers poorly. I thought maybe a prejudice against women but then watched him treat a male customer much the same. The fourth customer was an elderly woman who he was dismissive to. I listened to him complain to staff about issues with computer problems and his coworker who left a mess for him to deal with. Finally, I listened to him saying "I should've stayed home today!" My thoughts by then were: there should be music or a TV playing to drown out this unpleasantness and I need to find a new shop for my service needs. The one plus was my oil change was completed pretty quick. I guess I'm trusting the tech/mechanic did a proper job but I honestly wonder. My paperwork with a recommendation of an air filter change made me also question the professionalism of the shop because it was not mentioned to me and the paperwork states "customer declined" This job was quoted at $52.96 so I suppose skipping it saved me time...but wonder how the owner would feel about the lost $$ I rarely trouble myself with reviews but the experience was that distasteful to me. Guess I'll go to a different Pep Boys or maybe go to Jiffy Lube next time :(

This store ran a diagnostic on my car and said my engine needed to be replaced. That was not true. I asked for a refund and they denied seeing me. My case has been "escalating" for over a month. If I could give negative stars I would. The manager was rude and yelled at me. Avoid Pep Boys at all costs. They have 1 star with the BBB. I HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED YOU ALL! READ MY WHOLE REVIEW!

Liars, rude to women, the worst kind of people you want dealing with your vehicle. Went in for oil change and inspection. Left with no oil in my car and they try and act like I have no clue what I am talking about. Complete ignorance, I paid $150 for an oil change and they didn’t even put in the correct 7.7 qts my car takes. The receipt says I paid for 6 yet they only put in 4 once I went back. The service advisor deserves to loose his job, I have never felt so disrespected by someone when they are in the fault. They will not take any responsibility and I do not trust that anything was done to my car besides the oil being drained.

Overall experience was on point. Had a couple bumps in the road while my vehicle being finished and being notified of anything or anything that was going on with the vehicle for easier pick up. But overall, I was satisfied with the work. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly from start to finish.

I have a rental and we have visited other Pepboys The service here is always Superb all the time I constantly have to do oil changes under the fleet services, because I have a rental I was there on Monday with my Wife Michelle. She had an appointment for z6 o’clock and there was a Manager there by the name of Mr. Roy when we walked in we were like all boy. Mr Roy was very polite and so is the staff all the time .He entered the information for the rental car so that the oil change can be done. Again Superb service by Mr. Roy Aaron David and Dan, my wife stated that David always does her oil changes he always does a remarkable job!!! Thanks for such a great team that works Together. It’s so rare when that happens. Thanks so much again.

So I came into the Pep Boys in East Norriton yesterday. The young person at the counter was nice and the place was somewhat busy. After researching the issue I only needed a serpentine belt replacement. The customer rep informed me that the car would be complete at 7pm and I dropped it off around 1 pm. My car wasn’t completed and I wasn’t notified until I came in for status. My car was in the same parking spot that I dropped it off in. So the next morning I came in around 10 am for an update. A different rep acted like he knew nothing and then after questioning the mechanic he mentioned the car is being worked on a little difficult to remove. At this point I am starting to lose faith since they are claiming to be overloaded with other customers requesting inspections. So now I have wasted two days when they should have been honest regarding the completion deadlines. Also, it isn’t my fault for them being short staffed. Yesterday, I heard other customers cussing and complaining about the service and I can understand why.

I recently had to take my car into Pep Boys for some maintenance, and I have to say, it turned out to be a surprisingly great experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff, and I want to give a special shoutout to Angel. Angel was like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day! They welcomed me with a warm smile and genuinely listened to my concerns about my car. It felt nice to have someone who truly cared and was ready to help. As we chatted, Angel shared some valuable insights about the services I might need, and their knowledge really put me at ease. I could tell they knew their stuff, which made me feel confident that my car was in good hands. The service itself was quick and efficient. I appreciated how they kept me updated on what was happening with my car. Angel even took the time to explain the repairs in a way that made sense to me, which I really appreciated. It’s not every day you find a place that takes the time to be transparent and make sure you understand what’s going on. The pricing was another pleasant surprise. Pep Boys offers competitive rates, and I felt like I got great value for the quality of service. They even had some promotions going on, which was a nice bonus! While I waited, I enjoyed the cozy waiting area. They had refreshments and free Wi-Fi, which made the time pass quickly. It was a comfortable spot to relax while my car was being taken care of. Overall, my visit to Pep Boys was a breath of fresh air. From the welcoming staff, especially Angel, to the efficient service and fair pricing, I left feeling happy and confident in the care my car received. I can’t recommend Pep Boys enough for anyone in need of automotive services. I’ll definitely be back for my future car maintenance needs!

This location has been nothing but wonderful! Kristen and Angel are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She never tried to oversell me when it came to the vehicle report that gets messaged to you. Her and Angel gave me recommendations vs. what is required and broke that down so well for me to understand what my car actually needed. I will definitely be coming back here for all of my vehicle needs because they clearly care about how to properly do business

Worst customer service. Appointment was taken for inspection and when I went at scheduled time, the guy was saying it’s not for working on your car, and estimated time was given anywhere between 2 to 4 hours. I had to take uber back home. After couple of hours I received a call saying their emission machine is not working, so have to take car back. No apologies. Nothing. No courtesy Just a comment that - things happen. The guy at reception was saying on my first interaction that he is there to get yelled at. I now know why is that.

This is my second time to this Pep Boys location. First time I stopped in for a light on my dash and right away they did a complimentary scan and were really helpful and put me at ease. Today I went there for an oil change. We live near a few places where we can get tour cars serviced but choose this Pep Boys because the customer service I always 10/10. Also a bonus is that their waiting area is clean and quiet so you can read or work while waiting for your car. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience at Pep Boys at East Norriton. Guy was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Although the store was busy, he took the time to explain the service for my car, as well as recommend services that will improve the performance of my engine. The experience was amazing and I'll definitely be coming back.

Giving them 0 out of 5 stars. I did my oil change here and they didn’t fully tied up the bottom cover (see pics). The next day, I heard something weird while driving on the road and checked that the bottom cover was half opened. So I went back to Pep Boys to screw this so it will not be opened again. They tied up using the cable ties and about a week later, same thing happened again. Now the front cover is partially broken and they are telling me to take out the cover or it will get opened again. I asked them to using the bolts and nuts to make it safely covered and they are telling me to go to the Honda service center. If they caused the problem, they have to find out the ways to solve the problem but all they did is to take the easy way by telling me to take out my body part so I don’t bother them anymore. I don’t understand why I have to pay them to take out my body part which was fine before I take my car to them. Everyone, be aware. I am a young lady and they assume that I do not know anything about the auto body parts including different types of screws, bolts and nuts. If you leave everything on them, one day your body parts will fell out.

I was here 3 days ago got 4 new tires put on . Last night my tire fell off . Spent my entire day got here at 9 today at pep boys for them to fix . I left 6hr later. within less than an hour I am back at pep boys with the same noise that was happing prior to tire falling off .
