Walked in was immediately asked if they could help me with anything I needed a new battery since I had to jump my car the last 2 days sam she’s the store manager went out checked the battery said it was bad and I needed to get a new one she explained every battery that she had for my car warranty and all I choose the battery I wanted. She offered to install it for me and she did. When she was finishing up she happened to see that my wiper blade was ripping off told me about it she helped me get new ones and even put them on my car. Wonderful kind woman. 10/10 recommend coming here.

I was in the store yesterday. As I was shopping I overheard the blonde lady behind the counter on her cell phone. She was very deragatory with her mouth. The store was a little busy and thank god there were no kids around. This is not my first encounter in this store with her. Someone needs to take disciniplary on her before you lose business because of her mouth.

I bought a Powerade and they charged me $150 for it. My credit card company won't dispute it because advance Auto is sending them a receipt for a bunch of stuff I didn't buy. And the manager I spoke to on the phone won't do anything for me. Her answer was that I have to drive all the way back there on my time at a specific time in which her and the other employee are in the store at the same time.... How about you? Just correct your fraudulent charge. Never going to advance Auto ever again. And probably going to be getting rid of American Express as well.

Samantha and Mohammed were extremely helpful when I went in there today to correct an issue I had with another store. They were patient and understanding, even though I was being picky. I appreciate them! Very helpful, 10 out of 10 experience!

Went in for a rear caliper for my 2013 Jetta. Donna was super helpful both over the phone and in store. She seems to be quite the hard worker. I live right near by and I see her making her way to work quite often. In store, She was very well spoken, made sure she had all my info correct twice before retrieving my caliper and remained super positive throught the entire experience. Thats hard to do in her industry. Usually folks are already in a bad mood when they enter the store because their vehicle is broken down, myself included. Im amazed at how she stayed positive. She flipped my mood almost immidiately with her personable exchange. People who give an s are hard to find in any industry, but the auto parts world seems to be especially hard to find people who care to go the extra mile. Donna was wonderful. Donna also introduced me to her coworker Ike who again couldnt have been more pleasant. They both seem to bring an excellent energy to that store. I usually shop around for parts because funds are tight and today advanced auto had the best price for my part, and I recieved excellent help alongside my part. I Will be back for sure.

Best store I’ve been to in a long time! The confidence and energy they gave me from beginning to end was unmatched. Shoutout to Donna and Mamadou for making the experience amazing—I left feeling great and taken care of. Highly recommend!

Review for Advance Auto Parts #06394 (Ridge Pike, Norristown, PA) I’ve been a loyal Advance Auto Parts customer for 20 years, spending thousands over time. Unfortunately, my recent experience at this location left me both disappointed and baffled. I purchased a 5/8 spark plug socket and a small packet of spark plug boot grease. The shelf clearly listed the grease at $1.99 and an entire kiosk of sockets, including the one I selected, also marked at $1.99. At the register, however, the socket rang up at $3.99. When I pointed this out, I was told the label was “wrong.” The problem? The label clearly matched the item description: 3/8 drive, 6-point, 5/8 spark plug socket. Even after calling the manager, the best they could do was reduce the price to $2.50 — still higher than the posted price. The explanation I received was that “prices went up, but we haven’t changed the tags yet” and that “we have kids working here who don’t always know what they’re doing.” To be frank, that isn’t the customer’s problem. Accurate pricing is basic retail practice, and honoring the price on the shelf should be non-negotiable. Losing customer trust over two dollars is not only shortsighted but also sends the wrong message about how much you value long-time patrons. At the end of the day, I can get over two dollars. What I can’t get over is the lack of insight into what customers actually value. The message I walked away with wasn’t “thank you for 20 years of loyalty,” it was more like: “We don’t care about the customers — we’re just here to clock in, clock out, and hope nobody notices the wrong price tags.” Apparently, that’s where loyalty ends: right at $2.

DO NOT GO HERE. THEY CLOSE 20+mins EARLY and will just tell you the registers are closed there’s nothing they can do. And the employees act like you’re inconveniencing them

I love this Advanced Auto Parts store. The staff always goes above and beyond my expectations. Often I have walked in this place without any idea how to correct or fix a car problem and by the time I leave I have a fully developed plan.

Craig was super helpful in replacing my key fob battery today. He was also very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. His customer service was far above the rest and you don’t see a lot of these days.

ATTENTION ALL SHOPPERS WHO VALUE THEIR CAR & CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE ,…..DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION!!!! I ordered a battery and was told that I’d receive a phone call that afternoon or the next day that my order has arrived and I can come pick up. These people do not call, do not answer phone calls to advise the customer of shipment, and definitely don’t advise the customer if there were any delays. I will be going to get a refund and order my battery from another location. I prefer to deal with professional individuals whom take pride in what they are doing. Not individuals who just seem to show up just for the pay check. Should’ve ordered straight from the vendor. Never ever shop at the Norristown Advance Auto location. Sincerely, Paying Customer

Managers are... questionable, really not sure what refrigerant (r134a) is. (Received a VM that my online order could not be completely fulfilled. Showed up and saw a wall of refrigerant 🤦🏼♀️ but item was already voided) Staff is knowledgeable and easy to work with. Managing people is hard, but please find someone with the smallest bit of auto knowledge or is at least willing to ask questions and learn.

So I place an online order for two air filters. An hour passes & I get the confirmation email that the order is ready for pick up, great! So I hit the road and arrive 10 minutes after receipt of email. I walk into the store, state what I'm picking up and the gentleman there mumbles "Well I was just about to call you, we don't have either filter". OVER AN HOUR LATER? Why was "ready for pickup" email sent to begin with? Store was empty, not like they were busy assisting other customers. Thank God I didn't have all that far to travel or I would have been extra ticked. Waste of time, definitely not coming here again

I visited this location on a Sunday around noon, after having a dead battery. I was assisted by Roberto who found a replacement battery for my 2012 Chrysler 300 limited. He installed the battery (after removing the old one) quickly and without any problems. I will use Advanced Auto Parts, at this location, again when I have a problem.

Unfortunately I have thinking a lot about it if i leave a feedback or not, But i have decided to do it other wise the manager i have talk with in the morning of 3/29/2022 was horrible. as always i go i ask for something they help and do business and leave. just to let the district manager know that the person i have talk to that morning you guys are loosing money because of his bad attitude. Because every customer ho visit that store he is looking for something but if he or she asked for it they want a customer service not an bad attitude. Thank You.

I have witness two customers being rudely treated. I personally have been treated badly also. You need to check the manager and who she is hiring. I have been a customer for over 25 years and I never experience this kind of treatment. I put the item I needed back on the shelf and walked out of the store today.

The employees at this location are very nice and were able to answer all my questions. My car had been unable to start this entire work week and I wasn’t sure if the battery was bad or if potentially the alternator or starter motor had issues. Mike kindly came outside on a blustery 30 degree day to run tests on the battery and I learned luckily only the battery had to be replaced. Another employee then quickly installed the replacement I purchased and got me on my way. I will definitely return here if I ever need to buy anything for my car.

It was ok, I was browsing the store waiting on a email confirmation. An hour n some change later (still waiting for confirmation) when two employees crowded me, acting as if they were looking for something, I simply looked over at one and told him what I was there for. He said it's been pulled already. I understand this doesn't sound very significant but for me, poor performance non-the-less. Parts are good though #FUKaUTOzONE

Sometimes you will think that a manager at store will know better then the employee. The answer is no and the manager name is Lisa. I purchase about $200 dollars online rooters and breaks front and the back received one front and one rear the break where good my mechanic could not put the front because there only one and only one for the back and he already but one for the front and we are messing one called asked for the manager ho don’t really care about the company and really I know because I have brought an issue to her and all she said if it’s online order bring it back and get your money back, But in reality I was asking her if I can pay for another rooters and some one delivered to the shop because my already mechanic working on it but all she replied I can’t and we don’t do that with online orders said sure my mechanic ordered other from pep boys same price even few dollars cheaper. Because she don’t care she just lost sales and returned the items for a full refund.

The employees don't know the return policy.. They have no Customer Service knowledge. That's probably why the store is always empty. After trying to explain the policy Lisa only response was you can leave my store. That's the problem she thinks its her store, Hey Lisa with no customers the store will go out of business. Advance Auto has quality parts, the best prices and discounts you could find but they let employees like Lisa drive good customers away. I will continue to be a Advance Auto customer but I will never return to that location and advise others to do the same until Lisa is no longer working there.......

I purchased a battery from advanced auto parts and recently began having issues with it. So I went to this location on Saturday 9/21/19 to have my battery checked and they say we are getting a good reading, there's something else wrong with your car. Mind you I had literally just left a nearby auto zone,(I thought that was where I purchased my battery) and had my battery tested and they got a reading that said my battery was no good. So I leave advanced auto and end up breaking down 3 time over the next 2 days. I sat in 90 degree heat on 3 different occasions waiting for roadside assistance and was on the verge of a panic attack thinking my 2016 civic was giving out on me . I took my car to the dealership to have a comprehensive diagnosis test and WHAT DO THEY FIND?! I have a bad battery! Absolutely nothing else was wrong but a bad battery. I ended up having to pay honda $68 to tell me that I needed a new battery. So I return to advance auto, only because the battery was still under warranty, and the woman I spoke to on 9/23/19, was so nonchalant and careless. I told her I came here before about my battery and have since broken down 3 times, have had to wait hours for roadside on all 3 occasions, have had to pay $68 to Honda to inspect my vehicle, and have also lost wages as of a result of their incompetence. She says with a slight attitude, well if we don't get a bad reading then we can't give you a battery. They test my battery and the guy tells me, "it says bad battery" like I was supposed to be shocked! Then the woman tells him just switch it out, gathers my personal info and I see her leave for the day while he's changing my battery. NO I apologize for the inconvenience or sorry for what you went through or how about a sorry that we are incompetent. She actually seemed annoyed that I was right. I don't care if my care breaks down in the parking lot of their store, I will NEVER again in my life make a purchase from advance auto parts. Ever!

They go thru staff there faster than toilet paper. There’s always one person working the computers when they have a long line of customers. I order online because it’s faster and they take their good ole time finding a part if you ask at the counter. There stock is off too usually.

I've never had an issue with this store before....until today. I went in today to get oil, filter, and wipe blades. I took my old oil in with me, 3 containers 1 was reusable and 2 were throw away. I went in placed them on the floor as there were a lot of customers in line. I went and got my oil and blades. As I returned to the counter I noticed 1 of my oil containers leaked out. When it was my turn I told the associate and he went and got paper towels and gave them to me, instructing me to clean up the mess. Fine, it was my oil. He looked up my filter and got it for me. He started to check me out and I reminded him I needed my one container back. He then told me that I had to wait because he needed to take care of his customers first. I'm pretty sure, I waited in line, cleaned up my oil mess and had money to pay for my things. Am I not a customer??? I asked him, and he said he didnt have time to dump my used oil. I left my things and told him I'll go elsewhere. He said that's fine, take care. Great customer service. So, they just lost a customer.

Got in and out. Went for a washer motor which they said was available at store online. Went to store and they had it in stock. Answered additional questions. Eric was nice. Came home, changed my motor and now I have washer fluid to clean my windshield. Thanks Advance Auto.
