I've been to a lot of yards. I like this place. Easy in and out. Don't have to worry about flat tires. Easy off loading. If you have something real heavy thay have a machine. I can't take my scrap to a bank and walk out with cash.
Called about pricing and instantly got told I have no idea what I’m talking about and they don’t give prices over phone. Never call he’s “too busy you don’t call the supermarket for prices for milk”
I have dealt with this company for many years and have always been treated well. They have always been fair with me. It's a family operated business and I have watched the owners children grow up and start taking control of the business for dad.
Echoing other comments on here but called for information about hours and pricing, man who answered phone was exceptionally rude. Told me the price is what it is, you just bring scrap to him and he pays you. Either you bring it to him or you don't. I guess I won't. I'd rather deal with someone who wants the business.
Do business with the other scrap yards who appreciate your business.
A grouchy man answers the phone and tells you the prices are what the prices are when you get there. His business depends on the public's scrap.
Hit him in the pocketbook and take your scrap somewhere else.
Miserable people who deal with the public are useless. This business should hide this man somewhere where he could be miserable by himself.
This place will rip you off and when you call them out on what they are doing they will ban you from going there. Avoid this place like the plague that it is. Very childish people here.
Not sure about other reviews lately, I go here and other local yards with all types of scrap pretty often and always seem to leave here with more cash than almost anywhere else. I've always been treated well, and they're friendly. No complaints from me, had to take the time to post a review, checked google for their hours and couldnt believe what I was seeing on reviews.
If you want to get talked to like a piece of garbage by over privileged heirs of an pre established business go to m&p . I'll continue to take my business to Tabot&sons .
Ever since Deckers closed down years ago, they're the only game in Berwick and they know it. Price tends to change downwards after you've unloaded as well.
Hands down the coolest scrap yard ive ever been to! Very reasonable, plus they have tons of sweet antiques to look at when wieghing your special metals!!
