I used to go to this place all the time spent tons of money and donated plenty of stuff. Lately the staff has just been irritable and nasty to their customers today their machines went down. Everything went down so they could not ring up my almost $100 order on my credit card so I offered to go to find an ATM and get them the money for my purchase when I came back I TRIED To show them that I had gotten out 60, which was apparently the ATM’s limit and immediately after it went out of service, which I had a picture of, I explained that I just needed to remove some things out of my purchase in order for it to be the right amount since I was short about seven dollars or so. I was cut off twice while telling the cashier she told me she needed to ring this up first and she deal with that later. Once she had it rung up, I explained again what I said in the beginning and she got irritated and said well why didn’t you pull out what you didn’t want originally. The fact that I went out of my way to get currency when their systems were not down and the attitude was well you didn’t do it right, Is absolutely absurd. You are an organization that tries to raise money and when somebody tries to spend money there, they get angry with them and make it nearly impossible to do so. After her, raising her voice To me and telling me how I could’ve done it before and I messed it up. I finally started to try to pull the things out in order to make it the right amount that I had which was about $85 compared to the 95 I had rung up. I started to do that. She kept going on about how irritated she was that I didn’t do this in the first place I finally put the clothes down and said forget the entire order and walked out without any items and all my money in my pocket. I will never ever ever ever return to that place again. I’ve had multiple bad experiences and now it’s just not a place. I’m going to give my money.. There are plenty of other organizations and homeless shelters. They can receive my donations and plenty of other thrift stores that can get my purchases.
While the Store employees where friendly, the store smelt extremely unpleasant ... It made us want to not browse and want to leave the store fast without buying a single item ... It literally smelt like dirty clothes thru out the store .... Very disappointed ?
While donating a brand new motorized wheelchair that cost 15k 6 months ago. I was given attitude by the person taking in donations. First I wasn't parked in the exact spot to donate items and was made to move my truck twice away from the donation area. Because 6 inches apparently matters when there is an empty parking lot. Then when I mentioned that I wanted a receipt for tax purposes because the chair cost me $15,000.00 the person asked if I wanted "to donate the thing, or tell him how much it cost"!
After that I was done with the attitude.
Later after reading the fine print I noticed I was given the wrong kind of receipt.
I went here today I was very disappointed on the items that I liked. The prices were outrageous. Shoes $10.00, a vase $10.00 unbelievable what they are charging. I can find these items at Goodwill, Veterens Thrift, Sloans, The Good stuff. For way cheaper than these prices. People make donations and you charge these high prices. I was thinking about donating my personal things, but after what I saw today, I walked out and won’t be back. I can’t believe how jacked up your prices are. Doesn’t sound to thrifty to me.
This place is a hidden gem the thrift of all thrift. They have tag specials everyday. EMPLOYEES are helpful n nice. I LOVE THIS PLACE . 2nd ave thrift over priced for a thrift store. This place is a 11 out of 10 for me. Visit this place have a wonderful day.
Odd, like another reviewer, it seems they really didn't want to be open. Arrived 4PM on a Saturday, to a locked entry door, luckily someone was coming out the exit door, with a worker, and we asked if they were closed. Answer, nope, open til 5:30, you can go in, you have about 40 minutes. We walked in the out door, seemed a little grimy in there. Furniture selection wasn't bad, but other things were just a waste, gets two stars due to the furniture. Not sure I would recommend.
Was just shopping at this location and even though there’s 10 minutes left until closing time, the one associate/manager started turning off the lights while there were still customers in the building and in line.
This is just poor management and customer service.
I went to this store for the first time in a year, and noticed this bookcase. Anyone who is even slightly knowledgeable about the value of media should know that VHS tapes are NOT worth $4, especially at a thrift store. They are hard enough to give away, and can be found for $1 or less at every other place that has them.
LOVE, LOVE ,LOVE this store!!! Used to shop there often with my GF Kathy. Cartfulls over the years!! Best prices!! Especially the color coded sales they have on certain days of the week. Just shopped there recently and purchased several outfits for under $25.00.(Got these Pink pants there. ?)

A lot of great finds at Fantastic prices. Not so much in the shoe department, but that is to be expected. However, we spent about $58 on what would have been well over $300-$400 worth of clothing
As an empoyee who doesn’t care if they get fired or not. Please do not come here in the heat. We have no air conditioner and some days they just don’t shut down the store. I genuinely worry about the safety of our older customers/older employees. It’s quite disgusting that we sit in a store that’s over 90 degrees for just 10 dollars an hour.
One minus restroom is been forever closed, very inconvenient! Please re open it. Been loyal customer for years! Always something to find for great price , cashiers are great! Would like to see more new inventory coming out through the week would be great! Would shop more of course , Thanks!!
P.S , Miss the Wednesday’s morning speeches from Previous manager that were couple years ago back on Wednesday Sale Day! :(
The employees and environment of this thrift store is welcoming and friendly. I love finding goods here. The only thing I do not like is how the price tags are stapled into the fabric of the item, it creates small holes.
A good place for clothing items, not so much for everything else. The store was clean and well maintained, and well organized. The selection was very slim for home items though, which was what I was looking for, so it's tough to be excited about it. There are tons of clothes though, but I would recommend Goodwill near by for home decor.
The store doesn't have as large of a selection as usual. I'm guessing it is because of the pandemic and not as many people are donating at this time. They also didn't have bags for your purchases, which seemed a bit odd. But, as always, I was able to find something nice to purchase.
I absolutely love this store! Nearly everything on the racks are name brand. And they constantly have a tag sale of half price or 99 cents. Just to mention though, starting in January they will have no more plastic bags. You will have to bring your own bag or carry out what you buy in your hands. It's much better for the environment, so I welcome it. :) Also, the hours on Google are incorrect. I was just there tonight, and they're open until 8:00 p.m.. Although the dressing rooms close at 7:30.
This location doesn't have air conditioning, it could be cleaner and more organized.
There's some really nice and good quality clothing but I find that a lot of the clothes are stained and visibly dirty; which is a turn off although all clothing should be washed. There's some great finds in the furniture section for a reasonable price. This shelf was only $19.99, I staged it for inspiration for a shoe room.
I just left there with the best deals around! The Employees are the best. Great clothes with unbeatable prices. My favorite place. Thank you! I can’t say enough. I will be in there everyday to see what new stuff they put out daily. Very organized and clean!
The selection of clothes is huge at this location. I never even have time to look through all the racks. Clothes are organized by size and color (in some sections) but some of the racks are a little overstuffed making it incredibly hard to look through what they have hanging there. The dresses specifically, they are so crammed in there that you cant even push some aside to look at the next one without taking a bunch of them out so you can move things around and see what hidden treasures are in there. Huge assortment of brands from high end to low end. A lot of mall brands such as forever 21. Plenty of an taylor and the limited. The store can get packed. I tend to always go on a weekday as the one time I went on a Saturday, I couldn't even get a cart because I felt like I would just be running people down with it in the sea of shoppers. They have tag color sales and some of the prices are high for low end brands but if you happen to hit the sale tag color at half off, it makes it worth it. Overall, it's a great place to visit if you want a huge assortment to shop through.
Staff is (sometimes) helpful and friendly but prices have gone up considerably. Many household items are priced to matching what you could buy new. Good for clothes and shoes if you go on a sale day. Furniture is sold in the building but no longer in the back warehouse :( but over all worth a trip.
Update: Prices still up, quality down. Treated like a criminal with harassment when trying items on - obsessively being asked how many garmets you have. Checking out $5 and $10's being checked for being counterfeit. No longer an enjoyable shopping experience.
This is a well organized store, clean and bright. Some of the prices seemed a little out of whack though. It seems that instead of having regular, set prices based on the type of item for sale, they will mark up items that might have a higer end label name on them. For instance, I saw a pair of Landsend mens sandles there actually priced at $59.99! That is a bit absurd for a thrift store, in my opinion.
Otherwise, I do like this store, as they organize clothing by size instead of strictly by color, and that makes finding what you need in your own size SO much easier!
I feel like the prices keep going up while the stores apearence and cleanliness keep going down. Which is crazy since there is a goodwill and another thrift store less than five minutes in either direction. I used to like this place but I think today may have been my last trip. It’s atarting to gross me out.
I am Jerry Bowers wife but i had to take the time to leave a review for this hidden treasure. This store carries lables such as INC Halston Nine West and many many more the best part of it all is you can purchase these designer brands for up to 90% off retail price. The store is neatly organized the staff couldn't go out of their way eenough to make your shopping experience better. I dont want to give away all my secrets but I am completely over shopping at retail prices why would I.
It was awesome very pleased with the staff. They go over and beyond to help out. 1-2-18 The cashier on this night was fantastic. Tested my equipment before I bought it. And I didn't know but it was on sale. Bonus.
This location has high turnover, so visiting often is a must to get some of the best deals. But its also a relatively large location & they hold onto lots of the unsellable items, so be prepared to spend a few minutes rooting through things.
It's a shame you guys quadrupled your record prices. I used to buy 15-20 a week, now I am lucky if I walk out with two. You should understand the simple business model that competitive prices means more business. My 20 records for $10, or my 2 records for $4?
