The race was nothing short of spectacular, showcasing exceptional talent and dedication. The hotel breakers, where we stayed, provided an impeccable level of service, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff's attention to detail and warm hospitality made our experience truly memorable. We highly recommend this establishment for anyone seeking a top-notch accommodation. It was a pleasure to have such a welcoming and convenient place to call home during our event.

Hallow Weekends at Cedar Point are always so much fun. The Conjuring Haunted House was a really cool touch this year! Great roller coasters, all kinds of good food. I really like this theme park

First time visiting. I went for the roller coasters and was not disappointed. Food was a lot better than I was expecting. I think there needs to be more drink stations, it takes way too long to get a drink most of the time. Parking was good, but I did arrive early. Early entry doesn't get you much because all the coasters that are open immediately have long lines and fast lane doesn't open early.

We went for Halloweekends on Nov. 1st. It was my kids (ages 8 and 9) first experience with Halloweekends, and I myself haven't been to Halloweekends since I was a kid. We stayed until 12am when they close. I will start with the NEGATIVE first: took 3 stars bc it wasn't scary like at all. There were a lot of parts of the park that had no creepy music playing so it didn't feel very Halloweeny and there's weren't any scary dressed up people walking around unless you were in the Frontier Town part of the park and even then there was like only 5 ppl walking around. Anything scary you just weren't allowed to enter unless you paid A LOT of money for in advance. Family with multiple kids just can't afford that. So the kids and I were pretty disappointed they couldn't go into ANY attraction, no corn maze, no haunted houses eventhough we are Gold Pass holders. They're going to lose money this coming year if they go that again I think. The Positive: We still had a great time as the kids are still young. The bands were absolutely AMAZING!! Honestly that was what really made the visit so magical. The decorations were so great too! Wait time wasn't horrible and weather was nice. PLEASE make it scarier and ACCESSIBLE next year. Know your audience. This is Ohio and we don't have money to pay extra when we already spend hundredsss on membership passes. It's messed up.

I came this year for hallo weekends. The best day of all was actually Halloween. The crowds were low and we were able to get on all the rides very quickly. A few rides like the millennium we are able to get right back on as soon as we got off. The amount of effort put into decorating the park is amazing. It really does give you a spooky fall natural vibe. The haunted houses are a lot of fun too. The best places to eat in my opinion are the pavilion and the barbecue place. The mixed drinks are way too sugary and not enough alcohol though. I recommend finding a bar that serves liquor and doing a shot. We got tequila shots at the one place in the pioneer village area and they were basically like doubles. If your time is limited it's a busy day you may want to invest in a fast pass. On a busy day you can wait up to 2 hours for some of these roller coasters. I also visited in the summer. The water park there is pretty nice. They have some water slides a lazy river and a nice beach. Cedar point is definitely the premier roller coaster destination in North America. I love the top thrill 2, The Magnum, the millennium, and really most of the other roller coasters there. If you're staying over I recommend sawmill Creek It is a resort like atmosphere there and they have two pools and hot tubs. I haven't stayed at hotel breakers but I have stayed at castaway Bay and I don't like those rooms there. They remind me of prison cells. Overall I definitely recommend visiting cedar point if you never have. It is in a great location near the Lake Erie Islands and a lot of other fun things that you can do.

Absolutely one of the best amusement parks in the world without a question. I try to make it here at least once a year and especially during the Halloween season because I love seeing everything all decked out. Waits for rides can get long, so I definitely recommend fast pass, or packing your patience and something to do in line. If the weather is bad there isn't a ton inside to do which is a bummer.

So many fun rides to go on but the wait times meant we were able to ride as many rides as we hoped. The souvenir shop was frustrating because many of the items did not have prices listed and we had to take items to the front to be priced. As long as you remember you're going to an amusement park and are prepared for that, you'll have a great time!

Absolutely amazing amusement park! The roller coasters here are top notch and from online info they are consistently ranked top in the country! There are also other fun rides like a 300 foot tall swing ride, a gondola down the middle of the park, and a good amount of little kids rides. There is also an indoor arcade area. Any roller coaster enthusiast will love this park, but families will have fun too! The food is also pretty good, with good portions, and the meal plan is definitely worth it!

Went for the first time this past Thursday ans Friday. We were disappointed about how many rides were closed both days due to short staffing. They need to hire adults and pay them what they're worth than relying on high school and college kids and then when they go back to school they have to close a bunch of rides and food options. We weren't able to ride Blue Streak, Gemini, Cedar Creek Mine Ride, Rougaroo, Sky Ride, Windseeker, and Corkscrew. I had the fast lane and got to ride a lot of the bigger coasters on Thursday. Friday was an absolute mad house. Line controllers didn't do a good job of merging fast lane and regular. The seat assigner for Siren's Curse was extremely rude to several people. She shouldn't work with people if she can't be polite. We enjoyed eating at the Farmhouse. They were so friendly and polite and the food was lovely. We had the all day dining plan for Friday so tried many of the main food options and that was the best. The chickeb and dumplings and potatos were delicious. Back Beat BBQ was mediocre and hectic. The coasters dine in had a really good burger but the line was out the door and took forever to get through. They had at least 15 milkshakes on the counter ready to grab which seems a bit gross to me. Who would pay $9 for a milkshake that's been sitting on the counter for who knows how long and melting. The Grand Pavillion is beautiful. Great view from the outside deck. Good bathrooms in there as well. We got the honey glazed drumsticks and fries. They hardly put any glaze on the drumsticks but the fries were good and seasoned. We got a scoop of ice cream from the place in Frontier town. Crazy you can get either a full meal and side for the meal plan or a single scoop of ice cream. You'd think it would at least be 2 scoops. At the end of the night we got pizza and pasta from Hugos and it was pretty good. The park is so crazy long. 1 mile from the entrance gate to Steel Vengeance. Bring your best walking shoes. We got there early both days so parking wasn't a problem for us. I loved the large coasters I rode but didn't like not being able to ride the smaller coasters and easy rides with my partner who doesn't like the big rides.

Very disappointed... Please think twice before buying a season pass if you don't live super close to this park. We drove all the way to Cedar Point with my 9 year old son and his friend. Cedar Point decided to close early at 3:00 p.m. today for low attendance, not weather--- "low attendance"! We arrived at 1:00p.m. and only had time to ride two rides before they closed all of them. The park offered nothing for this inconvenience. The photos were taken at 3:00 p.m. and as you can see the weather was beautiful. There was no lightning or high winds the entire day and no rain even forecasted between 3:00 and 6:00 pm. It had light rain in the morning and so a lot of people didn't show up. I've never heard of such a thing, making guests leave the park just because there weren't enough people there. Seems like very short-term thinking on the decision makers at Cedar Point to treat those who did come this way. It would be understandable if they had to close because of bad weather or even close certain rides because of attendance but closing the whole park is unreasonable.

I've always loved going to Cedar Point especially if you love roller coasters. It puts every amusement park to shame and makes other parks roller coasters seem like kiddy rides. I was just there with my family and I'm a veteran I normally pay at the park. I'll never do that again. The lady at ticket booth lied and said the price she gave us is what I would pay online and that it was higher because of it being spooky weekend. I PAID $119 per person plus a $30+ admin+taxes. We got inside the park and the more I thought about it the more it bothered me about the ticket prices. So I decided to go online and go through the steps to see if it would be the same price. NOPE! In fact online they was $75 with like a $10 admin fee. So note to self and anyone else,DO NOT buy your tickets at the park! Next, later on we wanted a snack so we stopped at Auntie Anns for pretzels. Omg! For starters they was nothing like at back home. They were so small, then we had to buy the cheese and they gave us some cheese thats prepackaged for a extra $1.50. We was only able to ride about 5 rides do to the looking lines and one coaster broke down for like a hour. We waited over 3 hours for the new Siren. It was fun but not that fun. The millennium is way better. I probably won't be back for awhile but its definitely a park you should visit atleast 1 time, just to experience the thrill but I recommend going during the week if possible.

I drove 2.5 hours from Michigan to check out Cedar Point’s Halloweekends, and while the event itself was fun, there were definitely some frustrating parts. Parking was chaotic and poorly managed, and the wait times for rides and haunted houses were painfully long. Fast Lane passes were available, but at over $400 for two people, it felt way too expensive just to skip the lines. That said, the rides were awesome once we finally got on — especially at night with the Halloween atmosphere — and the food was actually really good. The park was decked out in spooky decor, with fog, lights, and scare actors creating a great vibe. Overall, it was a fun experience, but between the long drive, rough parking, and high costs, it wasn’t quite as smooth or worth it as I hoped.

Just went to halloweend, thursday October 9th. Such a ripoff. I paid over $700 for tickets, lantern, 1 no boo necklace and some food. The park didn't open until 6. We scanned tickets then we're told we had to go to a gift shop to get our wrist bands for the haunted houses. We have been to halloweekend many times, never had to pay extra for haunted houses, or wear wrist bands. Greed I guess? So we have 6 hours until the park is closed, you would think the haunted houses would be open at 6. Nope, not until 8. So there is 4 hours to do the haunted experiences. We manged to make it into 4 haunted houses, and that's it.... $700 to do 4 haunted houses. I have never felt so ripped off. My 3 kids were so disappointed. They were hoping to do all the haunted experiences. Charging extra for the haunted houses on halloweekend is just greed. 6 hours is not enough tone to do much, 4 hours is definitely not enough time to do all thr haunted houses. Oh, and the app. It would have an estimate on the haunted houses wait times. All were saying 15 minutes. All were closer to an hour.

Cedar Point is hands down the roller coaster capital of the world! From the moment you walk through the gates, the energy is electric. The park is spotless, well-staffed, and full of nonstop thrills for every age. The variety of rides is unmatched—Steel Vengeance, Millennium Force, and Maverick are worth the trip alone. Food and drink options have really improved, with plenty of spots to relax and recharge between rides. Even when the lines are long, they move quickly and the staff keeps everything running smoothly. On top of that, the lakefront views are stunning and make for the perfect backdrop to a day of fun. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or just looking for a family day out, Cedar Point never disappoints. Every visit feels like an adventure, and I can’t wait to go back!

Cedar Point is absolutely amazing! The rides are packed with fun and thrills from start to finish it truly lives up to its reputation as the roller coaster capital. We went during Halloweekends, and that took the experience to a whole new level. The park was covered in spooky Halloween décor, with themed attractions and special activities that made the atmosphere even more exciting. Between the coasters, the seasonal events, and everything else the park has to offer, one day just isn’t enough you’ll definitely want more time to experience it all!

This is my favorite theme park. I went to Halloween horror nights last week, and halloweekends is definitely better. Even without conjuring, I would rank halloweekends >hhn. Add on the conjuring, which is top notch even without the abundance of haunted houses in Ohio. The rides here are 2nd to none. Best coaster collection imo in the world. The price is really a bargain this year too. Do yourself a favor, buy yourself a gold pass, dining and drink pass and watch this parks stellar evolution through the year leading up to this he peak theme park Halloween event halloweekends. Top pick for coaster lovers, 2 kids areas, beautiful beach (don’t miss a walk on the boardwalk at night after the park closes, this has quickly become one of my favorite activities while waiting for the parking lot lines to die down). Very good, and varied food and the dining plan is amazing value if your local. Great proximity to the island getaways (Kelley’s island, put in bay, middle bass island) and there’s an express ferry going from cedar point to these islands. Affordable and activity packed resorts depending on what the family likes to do. Really strong golf range and golf range resort, indoor waterpark resort, express hotel, and then breakers is gorgeous and literally in the park. Lighthouse point is my favorite, it’s tough to beat the proximity and feel of lighthouse point, this is the real dream destination in my opinion that has the most unique and if you get a deluxe cabin luxorious feel. If you stay at a resort, early entry has nearly no line, this is the most effective way to get a quick ride on sirens curse without a fast pass. Overall, this park is absolutely comparable in quality to universal or Disney parks making it one of the best amusement parks in the nation/world.

When you go to amusement parks, usually you have very few good rides but this park has a lot of great rides. Our family enjoys thrilling rides and we had a great time. We went in September and the wait times for good rides were around 1hr so if you are going in the peak time, fast pass is good to have. Food inside the park is expensive as with other parks but they have good food options. Make sure to plan ahead for food as good food is not available across the park.

Cedar Point is the premier roller coaster park in the United States. I visited here a little over 25 years ago and the experience was great. The park has gotten even better today! They have 4 or 5 roller coasters alone that would be the best ride at a majority of Amusement parks in the US with Maverick, Steel Vengence, and Millennium Force being our favorites. Sirens Curse, Valran, and Gatekeeper are all world class rides as well. We had the fast pass plus for the 2 days we visited and got the chance to ride every coaster except for Top Thrill 2 which had ridiculously long waits. With that being said the fast pass plus was definitely worth every penny. Steel Vengence was the longest wait at 30 minutes, every other ride was 15 minues or less. In any event Cedar Point is a must visit Amusement park if your a fan of roller coasters, we couldn't recommend this park highly enough. We'd take Cedar Point over Disney any day!

What a beautiful day yesterday was at Cedar Point! We rode multiple rides with little to some no wait times. We really scored going on a week day! We got the all day dining pass which I highly recommend, We ate and snacked and never had a thirsty moment. I am very excited to say I will be back very soon for Halloweekend!! ?

I have waited 25 out of 38 years of life to come here. And Cedar Point is EVERYTHING they say this park is! As a rollercoaster fanatic I was thrilled to be in the roller coaster capital of the world. I loved almost every single ride there! I am making plans to come back sooner than later, especially since I purchased a 2026 Gold pass. Thanks Cedar Point! ?

Seriously one of the best amusement parks you can go to if you love rollercoasters! The rides were excellent, all of the staff were super friendly, and the park was very clean. Our first time here was 25 years ago and it's great to keep coming back every time they add a new roller coaster. For busy days, I would suggest getting a Fast Pass Plus to get ahead in lines, otherwise you can spend a lot of time waiting. Also, all of the rides were pretty accommodating for larger people ( I'm over 6ft and 250+). Can't wait to come back again!

5/5 Stars - The Coaster Capital delivers, with a few notes on Fast Lane We had an absolutely fantastic time celebrating National Rollercoaster Day at Cedar Point over the weekend. It's truly a bucket-list park for any thrill seeker, and it's clear why it's considered the crown jewel of the Cedar Fair collection, especially after the recent merger. The coasters here are unparalleled. My partner and I were able to ride all of the big ones, and we especially loved the marathon sessions on rides like Top Thrill 2 and Maverick. The airtime on Steel Vengeance is legendary, though I'll admit the thigh pain afterward is a real thing! A special shout-out to the frozen boozy drinks at the Grand Pavilion—they were the perfect way to recharge in the afternoon. We also loved how the park has embraced its local feathered friends with all the hilarious seagull merchandise. My only real feedback, and the reason for four stars on the day itself, is about the Fast Lane experience. For the price, we were surprised to find that even with a Fast Lane Plus pass, we were often waiting for over an hour for some of the rides. While it's understandable on a busy day, it felt a bit excessive. A more significant frustration, however, was discovering that several coasters, including the Wild Mouse and the Mine Train, are not included in the Fast Lane program at all. With the long lines on a busy weekend, this meant we had to completely skip a few of the classic rides we had hoped to get on. Overall, it was an unforgettable two days. Cedar Point offers an incredible experience with world-class rides and a vibrant atmosphere. A little fine-tuning on the Fast Lane offerings would make it a truly flawless visit. Can't wait to come back!

Cedar Point is a beautiful Amusement park. It's out on a point on lake Erie and has an amazing beach. The Park is beautifully landscaped and ultra clean. There are plenty of great rides for all ages including some terrific Coasters, you gotta try TT2 in my opinion, never been on a faster coaster, and I mean fast. The water park is cute and has plenty to do. There are many places to eat, but as typical, the food is a bit overpriced at the park. All the employees are friendly and helpful. Price point is great, I recommend a season pass for even more value. Parking is no problem the parking lot is huge, if you dont get a season pass expect to pay for parking. Cedar Point owns some wonderful lodging options with some right at the park. In short, Cedar Point is a beautiful Amusement Park, lots to do for the whole family with many great rides, amazing location, and economical. I highly recommend Cedar Point, 5 stars all day long!

We were in town for a baseball tournament that included passes to the park. The park had great customer service at the guest service booth. Very accommodating staff. Lots of fun thrill rides but also quite a few rides for the little tiny ones. Easy access to get in and out and across to the water park and the resort as well as the parking lot.

Just spent the week there for our kids 17th birthday week. We had such an amazing time. Room had a great view, most people were friendly, great food everywhere except TGI Fridays. TGI Fridays was the absolute worst. Ride times weren't bad if you hit the big ones during early entry and right at 10. I haven't had this great of a time in vacation in a long time. Thank you Cedar Point.

Best theme park in the US if roller coasters are your deal. I believe the count is up to 22. So many record holding coasters, ground breaking coasters, legendary coasters, and all around fun rides. Parking was pricey. I want to say it was close to $40. Almost as much as an entry ticket, which was about $50. Once inside, food was not crazy prices. Expected. The lines were long, and they could use more shade since you bake outside most of the time. You can buy fast passes, but they are tiered. A normal fast pass doesn’t let you skip the line on certain rides like Sirens Curse. You need to buy an upgraded version. Even then the lines were about 45 minutes. Overall the best park there is for a coaster enthusiast.
Aug 12, 2025 -
The best! Cedar Point is a premier destination for coaster enthusiasts and the general public. With multiple different places to stay on site of close to the park, it also makes it convenient to stay multiple days. There are rides for everyone there, ranging from kid friendly rides to purely extreme rides. They call Cedar Point "America's Coaster Coast" for a reason. They have roller coasters all over the park. You could spend your whole stay just doing roller coasters. The wait times are usually pretty long for most rides, so be prepared. But, I will say that almost every wait is worth it. I waited 60 minutes for Top Thrill 2 and Siren's Curse, 75 for Maverick. Every wait was 100% worth it. I also really appreciated how kind and friendly the staff was, you dont find that at every amusement park. If you are anywhere close to Cedar Point and have some free time, come and check out Cedar Point. You'll be satisfied.

Brought my kids to this amusement park for our first visit here and it really did not disappoint. We purchased tickets in advance, which can save some money especially if you go through a third-party seller so be sure to check around for deals. You will have to purchase parking, I purchased preferred which does get you a bit closer to the entrance and comes in handy after a tiring day. I added meal and drink packages to our tickets which also came in handy as you could get drinks every 15 minutes and get meals every 90 minutes. If you are visiting during peak season, I would recommend a fast pass upgrade too as it can cut down your wait times significantly although they do sell single ride fast passes in the app, which I would recommend downloading and using during your visit as well. If you are a roller coaster or thrill ride enthusiast this is the park for you. They have over 20 thrill rides and coasters combined. They also do have rides for children or those seeking less of a thrill. There are also other things the park has like arcades, access to the beach, and even more. There were some rides that were down at times during our visit but they came back on soon enough and we were able to ride. The newer and most popular rides did have wait times that were longer than an hour but there were others that you could ride then get back on immediately after the ride. I did not find any wait too long and during your wait they have shade, fans, mist machines, or a combination of those in line. Overall, our visit was great. We were able to ride many of the top rides during our visit and it was not too crowded so wait times seemed minimal. Great park, with great rides and looking forward to returning for another visit in the future.

Such an excellent amusement park. Highly recommended for all. Having visiting several different parks across North America, I can say this is the best of the ones I’ve visited. Compared to Disney and Universal in Orlando, the lines are much shorter and prices are more adorable. Pro tip: get a pass allowing you to refill Coca Cola drinks throughout your time in the park. It saves money compared to buying bottled water or paying for each drink. Also, get an all-day dining pass! Get one for every two or three people in your party, because it allows you to get a meal every 90 minutes. If possible, each person can eat once every one and half hour (or y’all can share). Basically, eat a little and go play and eat a little more with the pass. The rides are great. Roller coasters are not for everyone. While the majority of rides are coasters, there are milder rides. The Ferris wheel is among the mildest. There is a milder coaster, as well. The Cedar Creek Mine Ride roller coaster is one that doesn’t make people go upside down.
