I just left the recycle area today and have made several trips there over the past year and a half. Your employees are absolutely the best. They are very friendly towards customers, jump right in to help, and treat you fairly. Definitely a 5 star operation you run.
I dont mainly take my stuff here. However, it is one of the 2 I go to if I take a load in on days the main scrap yard I go to is closed. That being said, I don't have much to complain about. Only thing I say they improve on is making sure to not allow anyone to just sit on the scale. A few months ago I had a load I was bringing in here and I sat behind someone on the scale for about 20 minutes. Besides that I don't really have anything they need to improve on. Definitely fairly clean.
Not happy with overall experience. You can't tell when they will be open. The sign out front says open on Saturday and the voice message says they are open on Saturday. Nobody to be seen . Today or Friday.
Google says they close at 12 on Saturday. Arrived at 11:40 and gate was shut and sign said 11:30. Now I have a truck full of scrap I have to unload and then reload for a day next week. From now on I won’t drive the 20 miles to sandusky and go to one much closer to me.
