There not helpful some are disrespectful they don’t answer the phone at all and they just want to talk to you any type of way like the police don’t make mistakes the most disappointing thing
I'm not understanding why somebody cannot come to a car that belonged to a child of their that was involved in a fatal accident just to look for their belongings! I been trying for a month now and can't get ahold of anyone. The officer that was at the scene of the accident said he got ahold of the Sargent and sent 2 emails saying I needed to look for something in her car and I keep getting the run around! Please just let me look!!??
Ignoring the fact that police towing legally parked cars that are not currently being operated because of expired registration should be a crime, this place is the worst. Answer your effing phone!!!!!
I said *should be,* not *is.* Just because something is legal doesn't make it moral. No one is being harmed by a car that doesn't run being parked in front of the owner's residence on a residential street with no through traffic while the owner is figuring out how to dispose of it and if they can get a few desperately needed dollars for scrapping it. Towing the vehicle (with no warning) isn't serving or protecting anyone. It's criminalizing poverty and it's a waste of taxpayer money. Not to mention the fact that no notice was left and I spent an hour having an anxiety attack because I thought our car with our belongings in it had been stolen. So not only did you not help anyone, you caused actual harm. And you still need to answer your bloody phone.
I think they are a great group of me, just doing there job. Be mindful that they don't make the rates and the rules. Best experience I could of have had. Life could be much worse
Other than driving a friend there to get his van released for a tow home I've never been there. He seemed to able get his task done pretty quickly. Only 3 stars because, let's face it no one who doesn't make a living out of your inconvenience.
My vehicle was towed for no plates. I went to get some items out of vehicle without a way of getting in trunk. I asked if I could come back to retrieve the other items. The officer in tan suv was one of the rudest people I have ever met. He basically told me I cannot come back and get my other items and that i was not allowed to drill/pop the lock on my trunk on the property. Not sure what he gets paid for but I thought that was his JOB to assist people.
Horrible. Had a car accident, had to go there to retrieve my personal property. Pot holes on the lot Had 6 inches of water had to stand in the water to get my stuff. Shame on TPD.
Rude arrogant condescending my son was involved in an accident on Sunday December 9th and suffered from a serious head injury and they did nothing but hassle us lie and gave us the run around d he wasn't at fault all we wanted was the personal items from the truck because the truck was totaled out we finally retrieved the items after four trips me taking off work three times the terms and conditions they wouldn't bend on the day before they did bend on today they asked for his license but when we told them it was left in the truck due to him being unconscious when police arrived to the scene they said not their problem
Well if your here its not a good day for you. But the police officers there are polite and friendly. Just remember its not their fault your there. Its probably your dumbass brothers fault take it out on him, not them.
Who have anything good to say about there car being towed and paying a fortune to get out ...lol..lol .. Well I can say the police officer had on a real cute TPD shirt as well as excellent customer service skills....
Had my car towed there due to an accident, getting my car out/reoeasseing it to insurance for repiars was pretty much painless. You have to show up in person and show ID and proof of insurance. But over all was a good experience.
I'll be honest, no one wants to go to an impound lot. The officers are polite when they need to be and angry when they have to be. The lot itself is somewhat confusing but they do their best to keep the vehicles secure.
Car was impounded after an accident & was not looking forward to picking up belongings out of my totaled car. The lady at desk was nice and quick. The guy who took us to car was a little frustrated with us since we were confused where to go- we had to follow him in our car through the car yard, he was in a unmarked junky suv, we thought it was another customer until he started to wildly wave his hands out side his vehicle window then jumped out and motioned us to follow lol. But afterwards he was nice.
They should publish the cars up for auction sooner and announce the sales date's ahead of time. There is no way to check other than going to the website when they will have an auction.
