I’m posting this on behalf of someone close to me, Travis, who had a very frustrating experience with Snappy’s Automotive in Delaware, OH. Travis took his 2005 Chevy Silverado to Snappy’s on September 3rd, 2025 for a front-end alignment. Before bringing it in, he had already replaced both control arms, inner and outer tie rods, lower ball joints, the pitman arm, idler arm, and the gear box himself. He had also just installed two brand‑new tires — nearly $800 worth — right before the alignment. The truck only had a slight pull to the left, and he wanted a professional alignment to finish the job. Snappy’s inspected the truck, agreed it was fine to align, and documented that everything was within spec afterward. If the truck truly had the severe issues they later claimed, they should never have performed the alignment in the first place — but they did, took his money, and said everything looked good. Around Thanksgiving, Travis called Snappy’s to report that the pull was still there and that the brand‑new tires were already wearing unevenly. They told him to come in on a day he wasn’t available. January was the first chance he had to stop in. When he went in in person in January, the GM told him he’d talk to the owners about the situation and get back to him. He never heard anything after that. During that January visit, Snappy’s also gave him a completely different story from what they told him in September. Suddenly they claimed the lift kit was unstable, bolts were falling out, the front axle was “almost falling out of the differential,” and that the pitman arm, idler arm, and tie rods were worn — even tho ugh all of those parts were brand new when they aligned it the first time. Their new explanation completely contradicted their original report. Then they tried to sell him over $2,300 in repairs, including replacing the exact same parts he had already replaced before the first alignment — the same parts they said were fine when they took his money in September. Meanwhile, the two tires he had just bought — again, almost $800 — were now nearly bald on the inside edges because the alignment was never corrected under warranty. Snappy’s gave him two completely different diagnoses months apart, refused to honor their warranty, didn’t follow through on what the GM promised, and tried to upsell him on repairs he didn’t need. He paid for an alignment that didn’t fix the issue, ended up with ruined tires, and got no accountability from the shop. Based on everything he went through, I wouldn’t recommend Snappy’s to anyone.

I've been having my car taken care of at Snappy's since I moved here three or four years ago. They do a good job, and if you're looking to keep your car running perfectly for a fair price, this is the place to go! UPDATE: 7/21/2025 Just went back to get my car checked up on for the summer last week.. They're just as helpful, friendly, organized, and most importantly, honest! They take care of you and don't try to push you to get more done than you need, or can afford. UPDATE: 2/16/26 Went to get some things checked out last week, and I couldn't afford to fix all of them, which is one of the many reasons why I love Snappy's! They let you decide what to fix, and they don't bother, hassle, or pressure you into doing something you can't afford at that moment. They will tell you if something really needs to be fixed right away, or if you can leave it for awhile and come back when you've saved up the money for it. They're nice, helpful, and honest; such a relief from other shops that try to use scare tactics to get you to pay for something or multiple somethings you don't need. Thank you for treating me like a human. If you want quality repairs, great customer service, and a place to sit if you have to wait that's not just metal folding chairs and a crooked wall tv. The seating is also divided into three different areas, so as long as there aren't a lot of people waiting, you don't have to deal with that awkward experience of, "Hi creeper, you just sat next to me when there were plenty of other spots free." If you do have to wait next to someone, the seating areas are divided enough so that you don't feel like you're so close you're colliding with the person next to you. The waiting area is also kid friendly, and you can grab them a free drink and one for yourself as well. They also have snacks if your kid or kids get hungry and you don't have any on you at the moment. Super nice people, fair prices, and all around friendly place. They don't upsell or pressure you in any way, because you're sure to come back time and again as a repeat customer. Thanks again Snappy's!

I truly appreciate the service rendered by Snappy's Automotive. My communication was mostly with Courtney, who did a phenomenal job communicating with me. Even though my car was towed there, Snappy's set an actual appointment for when they would work on my car and kept me abreast of what was happening. The price was not only reasonable, but they also let me know if a problem were to occur, to call them. I would definitely go back if and when needed.

I know it's taboo to call out competitors by name so I'll keep it semi-vague. I have a 20 year old sports car that can be difficult to find parts for. Snappy's beat the dealership quote by thousands AND agreed to use a higher-end harmonic balancer I preferred, the dealership would only use OEM. An additional issue was discovered once the main issues were fixed. Without fail, the part wasn't available through traditional channels so Snappy's asked if I would mind if they got the part used from an online vendor I know the dealership wouldn't use. I agreed that was the best and only option, I can only imagine what the dealership would have done. I prefer quotes via email (vs over the phone) so I can see the breakdown and line items. The online system Snappy's used was smooth and easy to use. ***Since the above review, I've brought two more vehicles to Snappy's for service. Not only is the work that was completed great, but the process is so great compared to anything I've ever experienced. The software that shows recommended work and the ability to accept/decline is simple. The key pick up from a lockbox after hours is seamless too. In the past I'd tell shops to lock the key in the car and I'd bring a spare to pick up the car because rarely am I able to pick up during banker hours. These may seem like minor features, but taken together they make for a pain free process that doesn't make me dread maintenance!

Super polite staff. The waiting room and check in areas were super clean and inviting. Enjoyed a free snack and lemonade will waiting. My fix went super fast. I highly recommend Ryan and his staff at Snappy's.

We took our car in to a dealership for a recall, they found some other work that would need to be done and said it was going to cost $4000! We declined and took the car to Snappy's with the list of repairs that needed done. Snappy's got us in right away and did it for half the price.

I am 56 and have been driving used cars for 40 years and lived in 3 states. Always needing work done on vehicles. This was the worse experience I have ever had. I took my vehicle there with a bad transmission slipping. Told them that it didn’t slip until warmed up around 15/17 miles. Tech drove a small test drive and said it needed new pan, filter and fluid cost me $766. Then tech drove over 17 miles and said tranny needs rebuilt and want $4600. I told them to stop. Experience cost me $766 to leave there in the exact same position I was when I pulled in. Service writer Courtney I think, needs a raise. Very nice and professional, done what she could to help. Technician-non mechanic needs fired for not driving 17 miles in the first place (as was in notes) and saving me $766. Horrible.

I usually don’t leave reviews but I had to. First of all I had a 10 o’clock appointment for an oil change, didn’t get outta there til almost noon. They told me my tie rod was a 9/10, & recommended I get it fixed right then and there for 520 sumn dollars. I tell them I didn’t notice anything before and will take it to get another look before I just pay 500 dollars. Then as soon as I left I noticed my car driving differently. I’m not a mechanic so I don’t know what it is yet but I’m def not going back to them.

I had an incredible experience! They were able to schedule an immediate appointment. They identified and communicated the problem immediately. Once in a while, you find a place where everyone likes their work. Because the technicians care about their work, even how it looks, going beyond just replacing parts, my 24 year old car is comfortable here. Oh, while finding top notch techs in a happy shop is most important, the cost was under estimate.

Snappy’s has treated my 2012 Honda Accord and me fairly and well. I have been there three times for brake work, had wheel bearings replaced and bought new tires from them. The technicians are thorough and honest. They haven’t tried to “up-sell” me on needless repairs. They make recommendations. The business is efficient and customer-focused. Car repairs can be expensive anywhere, but Snappy’s is transparent. I recommend giving them a try, They have earned my trust.

I have had a very involved experience with Snappy in that my vehicle refused to cooperate. After the initial work was completed, it developed a mysterious and evasive symptom. Ben and multiple techs spent valuable time and relentless energy diagnosing the issue until it was isolated and resolved. Kudos to Ben, the techs and staff for your patience, persistence, communication and your customer service through the lengthy ordeal.

Great place! I work for a company and we are new to them and Snappy's treated us great! Took the time to show us the shop and how things worked in the back. Super clean environment! Ladies that were holding down the front were awesome and really friendly! I will definitely be taking my personal vehicles here in the future when repairs are needed based off of the whole experience and how they treated my work truck and my bosses work truck. The most efficient experience I have had with having work done on my car! I called in the morning with an emergency job I needed! They took right away and were done in the afternoon!! The team was very pleasant to work with. I had an oil leak on my truck. They inspected and got back with me on a quote within a day. They even gave me a ride home! I ended up doing the work with a different shop, but the Snappys team was so great to work with that I couldn't leave them without a good review.

Yes, go here - easy choice. I was in a bad spot after loosing a wiper blade on 23. I came here because it was close. I interacted with three people (front desk - manger - technician). Everyone was amazing, technical and personal. I spent less and $11 and was on my way in less than 15 minutes. Your car stuff will cost more, but these are good folks!
