Bought a Honda civic from peak motors in Oct 2024 it's been a great little car only issues I had was a 10 dollar hose replacement for the hose from Honda and had a blow out but that was my fault I knew when I bought it it would need tires soon and I put it off but over all has been a great car and I still drive it about every day
Do not recommend buying from Peak Motors. I recently purchased a Camry from this lot and within 24 hours of owning the vehicle I was told the car needed a transmission. This specific car was taken to Toyota to have the transmission looked at back in June which the dealer FAILED to tell me. I had to find that out on my own when the car started acting up and I took the vehicle to Toyota myself. The dealer was told the car needed a transmission yet they claim to have “fixed” it. If the car was fixed correctly the car wouldn’t need another transmission within 1000 miles.
How about a Pontiac vibe from peak motors and it seemed to be a good car I had it 6 days and had to put $450 in the starter because it went out then the transmission started slipping a few days later and I let them know and they wouldn't let me trade Said that I had to pay at least half down on the car went back the next months in December of 2025 only the second month I own the car and told him what it was doing he said that he would have his mechanic check it out he called me the next day and told me that the car needed a new motor a new transmission and a alternator I asked him if he could trade with me on another car he said no that I would have to have $1,500 down to get into another car which is more than I paid to get the car in the first place I had to call over and over and over again to get him to even call me back. My experience with peak motors was awful at the end they seem like good people and honest people but truly they're not
Got a great car! Thought.i got a great car, but I was sold a balding tire with threads showing and no oil in the car when I bought it. Peak is a P.O.S CAR LOT DO NOT GO THERE!
My husband and I bought a car from them a few months ago. Great experience! Family owned with values. Everyone remembers you and they don't mind when your pups come along to the office. They're willing to work with you on all things from start to finish, no pressure to buy things out if your price range, and it was one of the cleanest engines I've ever seen. If you need a cheaper car to get you from A to B this is the place to go!
Purchased a 2013 Honda Civic from them. Wonderful staff, fast, transaction. A responsible price was negotiated. The car was low on oil when we checked it after we got home. I should have checked it at the lot. I know buying a car AS IS can be scary, but the car seems to be in really good shape. This is my daughter's first car and she loves it.
The sells people seem to care less about helping you or if you purchase anything! Probably 90 percent of their vehicles are LEMONS and they won't help you if you still owe something and something happens to the vehicle!
Just bought a 2016 Hyundai Tucson from Peak Motors and they were fantastic from start to finish! First of all, I love that they're a family owned business and they made me feel comfortable immediately. Amazing experience!! Peak Motors was highly recommended to me by Aiken-Black Tire (another awesome place to get your car serviced!). I found exactly what I needed at a price I could afford. They were very upfront about the condition of the car (I bought a 2013 Honda Pilot), showed me the CarFax, and answered all of my questions. I appreciated their honesty and I appreciated not being talked down to or being condescended to just because I was a single woman looking for a car. I've had my car for a week and it drives like a dream! I now have a go-to place for purchasing used cars in Hickory, although I know that this one will last me a long time! I am a very happy customer!!
I can honestly say that if I need to get another vehicle it will definitely be from Peak motors. First time doing business with them and you could not ask for better service. Ryan is super laid back and made everything extremely easy and understandable. A very transparent company that doesn’t do any tricks to get you hooked in. They take care of you and I HIGHLY recommend coming to see them!
I highly recommend. I bought my car over a year ago. I did not mean for so much time to go before posting a review. It was almost too good to be true so I wanted to wait and make sure my fears didn't come true. Happy to say they did not AND I got a reliable vehicle that i am proud of at a fair price and easy trade in process. Not only do I recommend to anyone but i will be a repeat customer. Went to peak on July 27 2024 my wife and I had a 2006 Infiniti we wanted to trade, but it had a salvage title so not a lot of people wanted to talk to us about it and we didn’t have any money to put down except for the car only! So I called around came across peak. The lady said they would look at my car so I went by there and sure enough was able to make a deal after going to like more than 10 places! left with a very good payment a very good price on the vehicle 2013 Honda pilot super super super easy to deal with recommend 100%

I've been coming to this car lot for years! Never had a bad car from these guys, they really listen to my concerns and went above expectations. Mike is very good at working out whats best for me, and I can say he's more caring and down to earth than any of the lots around. I would recommend this place to anyone who asks! Like I told Ryan, the owner/car dealer, this was the most pleasant buying experience I’ve ever had buying a car. For that alone, I thank God for! Our mechanics said that his car was the cleanest used car they had ever seen inside and out while they were inspecting the car to see if there were any issues to help us with the decision making if it was a good buy or not. Having to edit my review because I found out that the reason why the my 2012 Subaru Forester has been running so loud is because the exhaust system had so many holes in it, even part of it rusted out! Which cost me an extra $400 to fix. Then the tires leak some because they were not sealed to the rim correctly, but i had fixed for like $45 each. I assume some vehicles are sent in could be auctioned, but for the deal I got I assume it’s decent and is somewhat fair, even though i don’t understand how cars can even be sold with a messed up exhaust that causes the engine light to come on when driving on the freeway. Surprisingly, this place is a lot nicer than other used car lots and the cars seem to be in better shape initially. This is why i had settled on Peak Motors out of any other place, and the people working here are decent and kind.
The environment inside was wonderful everyone was nice and welcoming. I purchased a car and I love it. I test drove the car and told them the things that concerned me and the next day I came back and it was all fixed!!!!!!! Highly recommend getting a used car from this place!
Outstanding car buying experience. We bought our daughters first car from Peak, and it is sharp and fairly priced. We spent months looking and comparing available Beetles before finding this one. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Mike was super down to earth and easy to buy from. I will definitely check with Peak first for our families next vehicle.

Picked up this beauty of a car at Peak motors. The process was very smooth and everyone was so nice. I was working with a credit union and it took a few days for funding for the car, but they were nice enough to hold the car for me while my loan was processing. And multiple people were interested in this specific car, and they held it just for me. That speaks volumes that they aren't just in the business for money. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to buy a car I truly love and at a GREAT PRICE this thing is fully loaded with a carbon fiber package that's hard to find from factory. Highly recommend them 😃
