Found Reids Diesel on NTTS Breakdown, Called and they got me in and out asap with no hassle. Once i pulled in, there guys jumped right on it, fixed in no time. Price was great aswell!
We used Reid Diesel for a load shift we had in the area. This was the second experience we have had with Reid Diesel and they were very quick to get us in and start working on our problem. Great service and very friendly people. They were also very reasonably priced for the amount of work that was involved. We will definitely be sure to use them again if we ever have a need in the area.
I found out about Reid Diesel Enterprises five years too late. After they resolved my initial issue, I have moved my entire book of business to them.

When you pick up your equipment, you have the confidence that it is fixed right, will pass the scrutiny of DMV Officers, and will serve you well.
They have saved me a lot of money so far as opposed to using factory shops.

Great service, towed my truck to the shop in the morning and were able to change out all six injectors and get my back to rolling same day. Very friendly and knowledgable techs. Anytime I’m in the area and need help these guys are my first call.
My van had a Problem I was nearby so I pulled in .Two guys came over without hesitation fix my van! I was back on the road in no time! Was not expecting anyone to answer my call at such an odd hour. . . . . . . I was greatly relieved when a very friendly and knowledgeable Mechanic (not an answering service) did answer! The repair was handled in a timely (and cost effective) manner. I would strongly recommend Reid Diesel to anyone who is in need.

If i ever have a breakdown again anywhere around i will definitely call Reid, quick, responsive and knowledgeable. Not like your average TA or Loves poor quality service with 4h wait time... those folks are doing professional job for fair rates! 100% Recommended!
We called close to end of normal hours, we weren't totally sure at that time if we need a road call or if we could/would make it to their yard. They gave us a cell # to contact once we knew so they could be reached after hours. Ended up we needed a road call. They responded in quick order, gathered the needed parts, and made the repair. For sure would use Reid Diesel again.
Good, honest folks, in this world we're in now you can't ask for more. Stranded on hwy 77, called & the owner Travis answered, said he didn't have time to do a roadside repair if needed as he had a family matter to attend to. He was out in 20 minutes (on the phone & had already left to come get us) we were at his shop from breakdown in an hr. Got us in first thing in the morning,had us fixed up,great rate & saved the load. Highly recommend. Thank you for being honest & caring, we need more of this in our line of work & in general!
Had a blowout on i77 called Loves couldn't get to me then the TA. TA came out with a broken jack had to come back 2 and a half hours later said my rims were fused together and seized. Not seized I was able to move fine. Sat here for 28 hrs from start to finish. Save yourself tire and headache call Reid first! In the end Reid showed up and had tires off and replaced 30 minutes. DON'T CALL ANYONE BUT THESE GUYS! Very knowledgeable and quick...Thankyou guys very much!
This place along with Travis went above & beyond for my business. I appreciate that they cared enough to communicate with me (TDY transportation)to get my issues resolved. Highly recommend these guys & if you’re in Wilkesboro area you need a highly qualified diesel mechanic . 🫡🫡🫡…….
One of my drivers had a breakdown on I-77 north of Elkin. With the help of Google, I was lucky enough to find Reid Diesel. I explained the situation and they were quick and happy to help. They went above and beyond to get a fellow driver up and running. Most shops instantly jack their prices up when they find out we are from Ontario, Canada and think they have us over a barrel and will pay whatever they want to get up and running. Reids did not do that to us and charged us a fair amount. I am grateful for their help and attention and would definitely call them again when in the area.
Don't waste your time going up these goat trails to get to this shop with a truck and trailer. They will tell you one thing over the phone, and try to charge you more when you show up. On top of that, they want to charge $5 for blank checks (EFS, Comdata, etc..) if you don't have one with you.
Bad attitude. Arrogance. Don't need that when we drivers have so much other stressful sitations to deal with.
We have been in the truck sales business for 38 years. That's long enough to know that when one of our trucks broke down on I-77 at 2:00 on a Friday, the chances of getting the driver or the truck back on the road before Monday was slim. The folks at Reid Diesel, not only got the truck in, ordered parts and got our driver back on the road in less than 3 hours, they were incredibly personable and honestly cared about getting our truck back on the highway. They are the kind of small business that remind us of all the good in our country!

Reid Diesel does some work for my company at a local business that rents refrigerated trailers from us. We send our own technicians every couple of weeks for routine maintenance, but being 3 hours away, we can't come take care of problems that pop up between our visits. I email Travis and they take care of it right away. It really helps me take good care of my customer having Reid close by and so responsive. And their pricing is very competitive. Great folks, great service, great prices.
We had the unfortunate luck of losing an injector on I-77 coming through NC, dumping diesel into the engine, running out. Tow call for $400 - 4 miles by local dude - figured this was the start of a long distance robbery roadside -- but THANKFULLY he took our truck and driver to Reid Diesel. Talk about nice people - they were amazingly accommodating, honest, straight forward and took care of our driver (my brother) like he was family. Got him to a hotel, knew he would be down for a couple days waiting for parts, set him up with hunting land (he was able to get online buy a NC game license, local sporting good store for a bow & gear) and made his bad luck an amazing mini-vacation. They fixed the truck as fast as possible and charged us an amazingly fair price without looking to take advantage even knowing we were from New York, one shot customer. Can't say enough nice about the Reids. Travis, his family & staff are aboveboard 100% and are how every American should run their business. We've been robbed along the interstate with breakdowns by unscrupulous repair shops - the Reids are the most honest and capable people we've met and can't thank them enough. Thank you Reid Family for your honesty and attention, they are aces!
