They say they make hydraulic hoses but don't have the fittings needed in stock. Got my own fittings and hose and went back to simply have them crimp my fittings onto my hose but they said they can't because they had nobody certified to use the equipment working at the time. Seem like they should have all employees certified to operate all equipment. What a sorry place. Definitely not there to help the customer. Would not recommend this place.
Absolutely terrible store I placed an order for same day delivery and one the associates marked it as delivered and it hasn’t even been picked up yet. I contacted customer service twice, the store told the what they had done, and then they proceeded to cancel the order on their own accord rather than reschedule the delivery. We paid the extra fee and everything and now missing a day of work because I have a vehicle that I cannot drive without the part. The store never contacted me and just did whatever they want. They didn’t even have a reason with their own customer service. I won’t be giving my business to them or this company; I’ll stick with autozone.
Was OK, mostly male oriented.But if you know what you need ask and they may not have you come back several times with the wrong part that they give you.we took a few trips but eventually got the right part. They had it ordered, but it got there the next morning!!
Awesome staff and always knowledgeable on any thing parts or auto related . If they do not carry the part I need, in store, the staff quickly locates the most readily available parts that will solve my need and usually have it ready for pickup the next day!
I was on trip and oil was low.the young man that helped was very informative. I couldn't get the oil cap off of my car.He came out and assisted me. Over the top nice.I travel to N Wilkesboro often good to know if I need something i know where to go
Needed a battery tried to place an order online to get the discount but couldn't figure out the check out process but when presented to the associate on duty he showed me how to work the online procedures. He then said he'll give me the discount over the counter and got me the battery. Thanks Advance Auto parts
Best place in town for parts, and staff especially, James & Brian know cars very well, wouldn't trust none other than them for advice, they need a raise!!
Update, since James moved from manager ur better off going to Walmart, One good thing Brian and James are still there!!
They said they had three different break callipers brands for my car. In fact they could only get the most expensive brand. Then they would not take a coupon that advance auto sent in their emails. Went up the street to another parts house and got what I need.
Bought a fuel pump for my car and they here in Wilkesboro on 2nd ST Advance about 2 years ago. Sold me the wrong fuel pump. Well it was too short but my car Run for 2 years with that pump Okay. Well left me stranded on side of Road. Cost me toll bill plus getting right pump put on. 338.00 dollar's. Got my receipt and there wrong fuel pump and the store manager will not refund my 59.00 dollars to me. Thinks That's Wrong.?...
I give this place an absolute 5 star because to many place in wilkesboro have really bad customer service but this place hit it out the ballpark extremely nice and helpful
I went in to get some new headlight bulbs and since one was burnt out I decided to set up shop in the parking lot. Not having a rivet tool I destroyed 3 of mine with a screwdriver and went back inside 10 minutes before closing to buy some more to properly put my car molding back together. Brian was the gentleman who helped me and went out of his way to help me get the right stuff for the job. I was outside a few minutes after their closing time finishing up and he came outside to check on me and make sure I didn't need anything else before he shut down! I was so impressed by that, he didn't have to do that but did and it is that kind of service that will guarantee I go here next time I need anything before the competition right down the road. He even let me carry one outside to make sure it was the right size before ringing me out. Thank you Brian and your team, see you again soon, and if it's on the road it will be easy with my new headlights!
I love a parts store that you walk in and they know you by name and you the same. A friendly environment, knowledgeable guys, clean store, generally anything you need is there and everything was free YESTERDAY! :)
The dude I had gone up for help was really rude. He acted like he couldn't help or do things and then told another employee, "Go put the battery in for her" and I was like "please." No manners, for his employees or for customers. Wish I would have got my battery else where simply bc he was so rude and useless. I doubt I'll come back to this store again.
I've always enjoyed going to the store it's very clean very orderly the people are very kind they always take time to help me find what I need in there and make sure I'm getting exactly what I need there's never any rolling eyes there's never any attitude the prices are competitive with nearby stores like AutoZone and O'Reilly's and I'll continue keep coming here
Staff are not very knowledgeable in parts. Spent time looking for a specific part of a specific side. Their computer system apparently was no help.
But overall, it was a clean store and polite staff.
Love the store love the staff, I was there bc my car was really low on oil and I was late for my son's basketball game the staff help me find out what kind of oil and how much i needed to be able to run it even lent me a funnel
Love these guys at Advance, they're always super helpful and give you tips to get the job done so you're not making additional trips back to the store for more parts and tools.
Had a great experience today at Advance Auto Parts highway 2nd Street Hill, North Wilkesboro, NC. Mr. Donald K. did a great job today, this man deserves a raise, he was there from start to finish, when I had gotten the wrong items he asked me if this is truly what I needed, I told him that I wasn't sure, he checked it out for me, got the correct items that I needed and then installed them, I really appreciate Donald, and will certainly be back in the store and that is giving Donald most of the credit for a great job! Thank you Donald! !!
