I used to like AutoZone till I got a new battery from them which I just today had to go to a different parts store to get a New Battery due to the fact that the one that they sold me had a collapsed cell, I have been experiencing trouble with their battery for a year now and I had went back due to it not holding a charge, but then they said it was my alternator so I spent another $200 for something I didn't need. I'm greatfull to the tow truck driver for confirming it was a bad battery.
Just out of a full refund because I had to use the bad battery for my core charge.
Great service, in and out quick had everything I needed. Will definitely be going back and recommending this auto zone store to friends and family. Excellent work auto zone 10/10. 👍🏽
Francisco and Scottie were kind and informative on how to go about the situation I was having with my vehicle. It always feels good to get great customer service in a day n age where it's not that common. After this experience, this is AutoZone will most definitely be my preferred auto parts store whenever I need to do DIY fixes or just to even buy parts
Im not very smart about car parts but I asked one of the young men. They were able to figure out exactly what I needed for my car and for a good price. They were so kind and patient with me.
Came in to purchase a bulb and Francisco helped me out with the purchase and replacement. Extremely professional and friendly, couldn’t ask for better service. If you are looking for parts or service in Wilkes county this is the place to go hands down.
I am writing to formally report a concerning incident that occurred at your store involving an employee named Alberto.
On Dec 8th, I visited your store to address an issue with a starter under warranty. Alberto refused to swap the part as per the warranty terms, which was already disappointing. However, after I left the store, I overheard him cursing me out in Spanish, which I found highly unprofessional and disrespectful.
Additionally, when I first arrived at the store, Alberto sat on the counter using his phone for approximately five minutes before attending to me, which further demonstrated a lack of customer service and professionalism.
Such behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards of service I expect from your store. I kindly request that you address this matter promptly. This situation has left me questioning whether I can rely on your store for future needs.

The salesman had worked in Hickory for a year and I just moved from there last year. He was very friendly and installed my new wipers. Excellent service and a nice man.
I usually go in for parts or anything that I need because the guys are affordable and knowledgeable and as a single woman that matters to me since I don’t work on my own car as a rule. I had a problem with a headlight of mine having been installed a little crooked and it was like driving without a headlight on dark Mountain Road that I was unfamiliar with. The headlight itself where the bulb went was a very tiny & difficult place to get to, but the manager Rusty immediately jumped into action to help me. I’ve had some bad break this last year or two, so I didn’t need to be taken advantage of again for not knowing the industry and Rusty was more than helpful. He personally got in there took care of my issue and he along with his employee fixed it on the spot for me immediately… it took a few minutes due to its awkward position, but these guys were amazing. I could not believetheir kindness… I had originally gone in to get some solvent to remove the tint on my back window, which I couldn’t see out of anymore it so old and cloudy and they helped me immediately with that too so I left with the product I needed most for that. It meant so much For them to help with something they had nothing to do with and I CAN NOW SEE AGAIN at night on these winding mountain roads! Previously, I had to put my brights on just to be able to see the road and that of course would not do. Huge thank you to Rusty for his kindness, compassion and great work ethic. Totally fixed my headlight and I got what I needed for my back window.
I cannot thank them enough. Rusty you’re a model employee representing management at AutoZone. You will go far and they need to give you a promotion to district manager or something. … thanks again to you guys especially you Rusty & as a chef, I owe you one so next time you’re up at Laurel Ridge please come in and let me treat you to a fabulous meal.

I had a belt shred on me and left me stranded a couple days later.. I got towed and bought a better belt somewhere else. I bought back the poor quality belt and they refused to give me my money back.
Yesterday was a fiasco for my daughter. Her car wouldn’t start, had to borrow a friend’s car to take her daughter to school on her way to work (both were late for school and work). She called me after she dropped our granddaughter off at school and told me what was happening. As I am three hours east of her and can’t do much hands on to help, I called the North Wilksboro Auto Zone to see if they have a battery available for purchase for her vehicle. Francisco said yes they have one in stock and assisted me in an over the phone purchase, explaining my daughter will come pick it up after work. Later that afternoon, I received a call from her saying she picked up the battery, her husband swapped them out, and her car started right up. She will bring the old battery back to the store today. I cannot thank Francisco and his team enough to put this Mom’s heart at ease, knowing my daughter’s vehicle is working again without problems. Thank you!!
I stopped to have a headlight replaced, I went in and the feller immediately finds my light, super nice guy, offered to put it in for me, I was in and out in less than 5 minutes, and it was a great experience. I know it’s auto one, but these people aren’t just a company, they’re real locals, nice people. Would leave a higher review, these guys actually made my night with how nice they were. Love people like that. :)
A day ago, my car was acting odd and I was 2 hours away from home. Colin and Daniel made sure I had what I needed to make sure I got back home safely and also gave me much needed advice. Whoever owns this Autozone, give these brothers a raise. They deserve it. 5 stars.
Very helpful. Customer service was great. They checked my car for me made it easy to order park and only took day and half to get part and price was very reasonable.
Novody else around here had what I needed, but they did. So I went and picked up what I needed, and talked to the manager that was there, it just so happened he was the one that was helping, and as always, he gave me some advice. Customer service here for me is always great.
I needed a rack and pinion steering. They got it fast. The core charge was less than other places. It was easy to return the old part for the core charge refund. The part has a lifetime warranty. Great service!
Knowledgeable, friendly, and polite staff. Always show me an assortment of what I'm looking for without pushing the most expensive on me. Clean store and lots of parking.
I have always enjoyed shopping at AutoZone. This store is just the same as all the others. They are very helpful and have a good selection of parts. I am always treated with respect and the service is prompt. I really appreciate the quality of the products that I get here. I would recommend using this store above all the other auto parts stores in the area.
