Was excited that I had to no longer go all the way to Agri Supply in Garner for my equipment trailer needs.Stopped in to purchase an axle for my equipment.Went to pay with my debt card .To my surprise the owner says we don’t except anything but CASH.He started telling a story about how a old man told him it’s best to do business in cash only.Mind this there where customers behind me who also left to go to the ATM.Being I needed the axle right then waiting would put me in a bind.I leave and go get cash.Come back with the $416.00 dollars and pay the owner naturally I needed a receipt.He seemed bothered with the question so he gives me a blank receipt with just the amount payed and date.I had to ask him to put the name of the company I was purchasing it from. I understand that everyone wants to do good financially in life and I personally like to see everyone do great financially.But to come to the United States of America and purposely do everything in your power to operate a business as outside of legal and tax regulations is called an unlicensed vendor, an informal economy operator, or an underground business owner.Just doesn’t set right with me.
