What clients say about Clear Recycling in Sanford (NC)
As someone who does this for a living junk removal and metal recycling professionally I am disappointed with their practices. They are charging their customers through the roof low buying and extra charges for equipment with tires not upfront seems very deceptive and they don't like to give buyer accounts.
Have gone there twice. Super nice and helpful, even the hard workers out in the field. Paid right away. Just be mindful of surroundings and listen to what the guys say. It's for your safety.
It's rubbish. I only paid $47 for 4 large pieces of equipment, which is not enough to cover the towing fee. It's really a rip-off. I don't know how to calculate the money. Be sure to avoid it.
Horrible. Do not sell your copper with these ppl they will not weigh it right and rip you off. I’ve sold less and gotten the same amount for what I recently sold it’s just crazy. Never going back here again.
Other than me coming in the wrong direction and forgetting my ID (which was my fault), the folks here were amazing. The process was smooth, from the initial weighing, the transfer of my recycling to their bins, to the final process of check, these folks did great. It's a job we should all appreciate, I know I do. Some great customer service to boot. Keep it up.
Besides paying the lowest of any recyclers around they completely destroyed my trailer and absolutely gave not one single care about it. Absolutely not the way to run a business very unprofessional and I will never carry a single piece of scrap back for this place and if you value your vehicle or trailer or equipment or anything else or money for that fact then I would advise you not to go there either worst recycling company around point blank
Overall it's ok but they should change how passengers have to wait I
Outside should at least give people somewhere legit to sit an wait an as well as employees employees at the window should not speak to people the way they do that was just a bad experience first and last time for me at that scrap yard an I would not suggest it to anyone for these reasons alone
I’ve had bad experiences at other recycling centers so I decided to take my business elsewhere. The recycling centers that I had bad experiences with always said that Lee Iron and Metal would not pay you top dollar and their scales are not correct. Well let me tell you my past couple visits to Lee Iron and Metal has been Awesome. I just wish I would have been coming here a lot sooner. But I guess it takes some hard lessons learned! Just to show how Honest of a Company they are. I took some scrap approx 2 weeks to Lee iron and Metal and they called me 2 weeks later to tell me that they accidentally screwed up on the paperwork and that they wanted to reimburse me for the mistake that they made. To me that speaks volume. They could have easily never said a work and I would have never known but they didn’t. They had the decency to call me and tell me. That’s a HONEST Company! I’m normally not the type to leave reviews but I figured I would do my part and give these guys a 5 star review. I’ve had a couple incident in the past with Lee iron and metal where they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Look forward to doing more business with you guys!
Fui eran 7 bolsas llenas de latas esperaba un poco más $$$ fueron 118 libras pero pagan a 35 centavos la libra solo obtuve $39.90 ya había ido antes y x menos bolsa había obtenido $55 ?,ya no conviene andar juntando latas solo estorban ????,eso sí son amables te ayudan a bajar las bolsas no tienes que cargar tu?
These people are complete crooks!!! DO NOT trust them to scale your metals correctly. They will rip you off 1000%. I repeat, these people are crooks!!!!!
