After 12 years of the Carolina sun beating down on my truck, I needed a paint job. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcomed. I received a quick, competitively priced estimate. The entire staff was friendly and efficient. The customer service is phenomenal. When I picked up my truck, I was shocked at how great it looks! Not only did they paint it but they detailed it both inside and out!!! It looks better than when I got it from the dealership! Thank you soooo much!!!!!

Can't say enough good things about this place. Dropped my truck off on a Monday and got it back a week later and it looked good as new. Truck was also cleaner than when I dropped it off inside and out. Thanks to you guys for fixing my mess up lol.

This is the only place I’ll bring my vehicles. The staff is top notch. Service was very fast and the price was very good. So good, we paid out of pocket instead of through insurance. We brought our VW in for an estimate on Monday that had heavy fender damage, the fender bumper and grille and front passenger headlight had to be replaced. We left it and it was done by Thursday. Exactly what the estimate was although they mentioned there could be more unseen damage once the fender was removed. The car is cleaner than when we bought it, detailed inside and out. My mother in law asked if we put new tires on, but it was just cleaned so well. If you ever need body work done, don’t hesitate to visit this local business!

Tramway Auto Body Repair is not just a major auto collision shop! Brandy, Randal, and their Tramway Team performed an remarkable “update” on our one year old MAZDA CX-5. I had some nicks/scratches in the body and what looked like a serious scrape on my back hatch (don’t drive an SUV into a home garage with the hatch open…just saying). I’d used Tramway a few years back for a wheel panel repair on our Saturn Vue - it was a top quality collision repair! We’d originally been referred there by a friend at a local insurance company. We also had several friends who had recommended Tramway in the past. Understand Tramway is a local favorite for collision repairs and we’d lucked out getting referred to them. No appointment needed. Walked in and Brandy, the Front Office Manager, greeted me, nailed down what I thought I needed, walked me around the car to look over the issues, and immediately generated an written estimate. I’d expected these type auto repairs/painting might cost up to 2-3 thousand so I researched repair costs. Had gotten an estimate from a local large chain collision repair shop. I compared the large chain and Tramway estimates: Tramway’s estimate was 70% less - talking the straight estimates. Asked Brandy when they could work our car in, she said it was a small job, we could drop it off that afternoon, and it would take two days. Went home a got a rental and turned in the car. The next morning Brandy called and was almost apologetic. She said the scrape on the hatch “buffed out,” was just hard residue from the garage door. She mentioned she’d missed some scrapes on the left rear wheel panel and asked if I would also like the scratches removed and the panel repainted. She made clear this was just a suggestion, otherwise they’d just adjust the estimate. I went for getting the panel repaired/repainted and asked how much longer that would take. Was told it should take same amount of time (2 days). But, she called later that day and said the car was done! Wife and I went in to pick up the SUV. Tramway Auto Body Team had corrected all the issues and had detailed the car from roof to bottom of the tires! The car looked sharper than when we picked it up brand new from MAZDA! So Tramway is not just a go to for major collision repairs - which their great at. Its also now my go to shop for updating my vehicles at very reasonable rates and the estimates are fast and free! Highly recommend them!

Tramway Auto Body is now our go-to body shop. Our vehicle was a hit and run and needed body work. They did a phenomenal job with the repair and paint. They were able to get the job done quickly. Thank you to Brandy and the crew for a great job!

My car was involved in hit and run. After asking around for recommendations for auto body shops, I took my car there to get fixed. The staff is super nice. Their communication with me on updates and timeline was impeccable. When I picked up my car they had even detailed the inside. The work they did on my car was awesome! Highly recommend them

Just like many others I also hit deer and I gotta say I'm impressed with the work outstanding job! Can't even tell anything happend. Also I was shocked they washed the car shined the tires! Waited 6 weeks for my scheduled appointment. It took 2 weeks to repair my car. They said they would call me when the car was ready. I never heard from them. After 2 weeks I called & the lady said she left a voicemail (I had no missed calls and no voicemails from them) The grill looks different than the grill that was on it when I bought the car. The heater doesn’t get as warm for some reason and my headlights seem dimmer (for someone driving to work in the dark having good headlights is important for safety) They didn’t clip the front bumper on. (For $3,500 I would have thought that the car would have been repaired a little better.) The communication over the phone was that I had to pay $1025 ($1000 for my deductible & $25 for Freon : to make the AC work that my insurance wouldn’t cover the Freon) I was told that there would be a 3% fee for paying with a card. When I got there, the total was $1500 and some change On a positive note : they didn’t charge me the 3% fee for the $316 that I paid with my card (as I had only $1225 in cash)

They did great work, but do a poor job of documenting conversations which leads to mistakes being made. I went there due to an insurance claim. During the initial visit we discussed the scope of work as being them doing only the body work related to the claim and they recommended I take it to my mechanic for the mechanical work. This was not documented. During intake (several weeks later because they were backed up) I requested a quote for additional work unrelated to the accident. This was documented, but not well. The end result was an unnecessary alignment (already done by my mechanic) and dents being removed without prior authorization. During pickup I had an ugly interaction with the wife of one of the owners around the alignment and was forced to pay for it. I am an easy going, articulate, emotionally intelligent person (I get along with and am well liked by everyone). Maybe she had a bad day, but from my experience, she does not know how to speak to customers and should not be customer facing as she is bullheaded and belligerent. The other employees I interacted with were pleasant, understanding, and accommodating. However, I am forever soured on this place and will take my business elsewhere the next time I need work done. Problems and mistakes will happen, but what really matters is the way you handle them.

Took my car there 3 times and all both times I was completely satisfied with the work done. Brandy was the best she told me what was going on and I emailed her several times and she returned my emails everytime. Great service.

I was rear ended by a dumb teenager texting and driving. I carried my SUV to Tramway Autobody because it was recommended per my insurance company. My vehicle was there for four months, but that wasn’t their fault. It’s very hard getting parts right now. Once they got my parts they got the work done and did an amazing job. I’m very pleased with the work. I’m a very picky person and this company takes pride in what they do. I highly recommend them!!!

They repaired a parking lot hard hit on my For C-max. Required the entire large rear bumper to be replaced. Paint is heavy metal flake and I can see no difference between their repaired panel and factory panel. Perfect match and quick repair.

They would not do a EST then they told me to come back next week very disappointed. I had a EST from the dealership for over $2000.00 and they totaled it tramway did the est just above $800.00 but then refused to fix it. It turns out Tramway does the body work for State Farm the company that was to pay for the rear end repair a 3rd EST disagrees with Tramways EST so make sure you get more than one EST as I did shame on Tramway Auto and State Farm as I always found State Farm reasonable Tramway EST was denied and proven uncompleted by other body shops I had previously gave Tramway a better review till they worked for the insurance who's claim it was against. Tramway said the interior of the car was a litte dirty so they refused to fix the outside and couldn't fix it safely at there EST they gave

I'm new to Sanford and I believe supporting local businesses! Some of these big time businesses have lost track of who they're there to help out. But that was not the case with Tramway Auto Body, they are the BEST in Lee County! I had a drive by accident with a?, totally destroyed the front left side of my 2016 Toyota. I took my car in to them, I was super worried about parts/experience...etc (1st time accident with a ?). They calmed me and ensured that they will make it like new again. A week later I received the call, and my car was done! Guess what just like new, awesome! Quick service, excellent quality body work with matching paint perfectly!! You wouldn't have know that been an accident. Don't hesitate to take your car to Tramway Auto Body. You will be well pleased!

My daughter hit a deer and damaged the front passenger side. The insurance sent her to their “preferred” auto body shop, Tramway Auto body of Sanford, North Carolina. From the moment my wife and daughter stepped into the lobby, they were verbally assaulted by one of the co-owners. Typically, I deal with anything that has to do with our automobiles. This particular day I was unavailable, and we needed to get the damaged assessed ASAP. This was the first time my wife and daughter had to deal with an insurance claim, they had no idea what to expect, so of course they had questions. My wife explained why she was there and wanted to know how long she should expect the repairs to take. The co-owner told my wife that she just wanted to “cash and run” and that the repairs would take about three weeks, and there would be no one else who could do it faster. She left feeling embarrassed and uninformed. The insurance adjuster called the next day (Tuesday) with the repair information and recommended we look into Caliber Collision in Fayetteville. Later that day I walked into Tramway Auto body with my daughter to pick up her car. Before walking in, my daughter says “that’s the same guy that was rude to mom.” I asked for the keys to her car, the office manager eagerly helped, the co-owner had nothing to say. I wonder why he didn’t give me the same treatment he gave my wife? Wednesday, Caliber Collision called to tell us our parts were in. We took her car into Caliber Collision later that evening. The shop there told us there were many more things that needed to be repaired and would have them done early next week. The auto body shop at Tramway may be great, but the customer service experience is lacking.

I brought my son’s Altima there after a driveway “accident” crushed his front right quarter panel, headlight, bumper and wheel well. After being told by two other highly-reviewed shops that it would be weeks before they could get to it, Tramway told me to go ahead and bring it in. They handled everything with appraisal and insurance and less than a week later I was picking up the car. Looked like it never even happened and an initially stressful situation turned into an easy, quick process. Customer service was amazing and I couldn’t have been happier with the work. Highly recommend!

I have taken several vehicles to Tramway Auto Body. My experience has been nothing short of OUTSTANDING! Everything from the office staff to the finished product was on point and done quickly! In fact, the office Manager stayed after hours to insure I got my vehicle back on a Friday afternoon. Had our bumper painted last year with in 2 weeks the paint started peeling off we took it and the owner said it was cause we following to close to trucks on the highway and rocks are hitting the bumper and causing the paint to peel and he would not repaint it had to call my insurance company to get them to fix it talked to the body guys at the dealership that I work at and they said that the paint is peeing because they didn’t prepare the bumper correctly before they painted it. Take your car somewhere else they do cheap work!!!

My boyfriend hit a deer with his car and they had it fixed in a week. Excellent job. My Jeep got hit in the Lowe's Foods parking lot recently and I'll be taking it there to get fixed. They do great work and have it done quickly. Very pleased and have suggested Tramway Auto Body to friends and family.

They had my father's car for 7 WEEKS! His Mini Cooper Type S hit a deer and suffered damage to the front bumper, right quarter-panel, hood, radiator, and water pump. Tramway claims it took one working week to get parts from the supplier. They ordered the parts, prepped and painted them, and only when attempting to put them on the car did they realize their supplier had sent them the wrong parts. Tramway sent the parts back, got the correct parts after roughly one more working week, and installed them on the car. It was only then did they realize the internal damage to the radiator, water pump, etc. So parts had to be ordered yet again. In summary: waiting for insurance adjustor (~1 week), waiting for parts (2-3 weeks), and Tramway had no explanation for what they were doing the other 3-4 weeks the car was sitting on their lot. To their credit, the car looked fine, but otherwise the entire experience was fraught with incompetence and a lackadaisical attitude towards returning the car with any semblance of haste (my father was driving a rental car this whole time). Failure to ensure the correct parts were ordered, failure to check internally after everything was removed to see if there was mechanical damage to the car. To top it all off, even Tramway's sister-in-law, who I ran into at the rental car dealership, said he is not a good man and does not run a good business. His own family doesn't even support the business he runs. That speaks volumes. Tramway says they've been in business for 25 years, and maybe at one point they were a legit, good business. Maybe Tramway's old man was running the show then. I don't know. I do know this: do yourself a favor and take your car SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE ELSE.
