Not sure where to start…Been coming here since day one we have 5 cars we bring frequently..two Sundays ago brought my bmw x3 for the full cleaning/wax package $65 I believe did great as always..However they park my car in an awkward spot when I went to leave they had left a power washer in the middle of there parking lot(right of way) which I had hit because I hadn’t seen bc was small…I addressed with the staff and they got confrontational with me..caused a little under 2k in damage to my perfect car…had called to speak with Josh manager…basically ignoring me and seems like I will have to either go after there insurance or small claims court…had given them an opportunity which still exists to make it right..I am a local person will be sure to tell everyone I know how you handled this..which you can still reach out and correct before I take this further… You cant have a car wash with this kind of traffic during business hours leaving objects in parking lot-***Seems like place is going down hill and would rather fight with a loyal customer that had an issue instead of taking ownership of leaving a powerwasher in the middle of parking lot….guaranteed you won’t leave that out in the parking lot again **** Goshen car wash just got new customer!!! When it happened and when I went back asked to see the video but was never shown- As you can see check other reviews..Im not the only person having problems..place is going down hill fast!!!

The Hambletonian Wash - $43.20 Like the store and waiting area. The wash itself is overpriced for the quality you got.

There was a long line when I went so I knew they’d be busy but I got the Win Wash and paid about $32. When one of the drying crew guys told me the car was done. I asked “it’s done thats it!?”, he kept walking away. The driver side carpet was still dirty, side mirrors dirty, front lights still had dried salt on them, doors were still wet, dash was still dusty, tires were not shined. The car wash in Warwick does a better job. $32 for what?, if what I paid for wasn’t even done!?

I got the place car wash and I personally feel that $22 is a rip off. The windows still have residue from the cleaner in them. Also the cleaner wasn’t fully wiped off the trunk so the car still looks dirty. Take your business elsewhere. I’ve got better service in The Bronx.

Got my Jeep fixed here for the first time in September. Spent about $3900 on struts and multiple other things. Mid October I nearly get into an accident due to my wheel completely lodging itself under the strut. I got a tow for $400, the driver when looking at my car saw the bolt to the strut completely missing. Went back to the shop for them to realign my car on them due to the damage of the tow and there auto repair negligence. They told me they don't know how it happened and have been giving me a hard time with a reimbursement for the towe. Still waiting on reimbursement or further legal action.

Matt helped me tremendously. I needed an inspection but my tires wouldn’t pass and they didn’t have my tires in stock and he got them in same day and had my inspection pass as well!!

This place is offering oil change and car wash. I’ve been here multiple times mostly they did their work but for last 2 oil change they never did the car wash but was offered on to me that I can come for next 30 days because I complained. The guy I forgot his name even said that it’s my fault not to say it early but is this something that I should remind them? I mean I understand if I get there late but I was an hour and a half there before they were closed and saw the cars behind me did the car wash after oil change. I see there is discrimination because my car is very old. So if that’s the case we can just go to other place and pay lesser for oil change! Totally unbelievable!

Been here twice, both times good result. Place is maintained very well and a nice bonus is the well stocked store when you leave to pay. Also nice that you don't have to sit in the car while it goes through like other places.

We have brought our cars to Hambletonian for years. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and fair. They do full mechanical work, oil changes, and detailing. Would definitely recommend!

The car wash is great I feel very satisfied when I go through. The real reason I’m writing this though is for the auto repair side. They are so HONEST as well as skilled even with an older European car that can be exorbitant to fix. Josh and his team have fixed my car now on numerous issues from simple to complex as well as helping me choose the right tires. I highly recommend this shop now to all my friends. Thank you!

Place is great. Car wash and service. One thing though, CURRENT COUNTER PERSON (10/20/25)HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE ABILITIES, You’ll know what I’m saying once you meet her. Similar to a boulder rolling down a steep hill.

If you want your car to stay dirty for 23 dollars. Take it to this car wash. The car is quickly washed on the outside and very slopply vaccines is the inside.

I visited during a quiet period and appreciated the prompt service. However, there was some confusion when I inquired about the available wash packages, and the staff member seemed unsure of my questions. I was quickly directed through the wash and later discovered that an add-on—costing nearly $10—had been included without clear explanation. Additionally, the tire dressing was not completed and required an extra $5 to be addressed. All in a suggestion to another package would have been a simple and effective solution. While the speed of service was excellent and the wash itself satisfactory, clearer communication and improved customer service would enhance the overall experience.

Got here at 8:15am on Saturday morning for an oil change and tire rotation. They confused my car for someone else’s and tried to charge me $880 for new tires. The new tires were already on my car and I told them I didn’t want them so they then had to replace the new tires with my original tires. Took 3 hours but I was eventually given a discount on the oil change.

My son just got the triple crown express "detail" for $75. He got home and noticed water spots and dirt remaining on the exterior. The black alloy rims were filthy. He just drove back a second time (15 minutes each way) and they cleaned the car but the rims are still a mess. He does not want to drive back a third time. My local car wash costs $35 for a wash and the rims come out almost spotless. When you pay $75 and they include the word "detail" in the wash description you would think they could at least wipe down the rims. They did a great job on the interior however. You would think that when you pointed out the deficiencies on the rims that they could have spent a few additional minutes cleaning them. Not worth $75 plus tax.

Not a good car wash. Spent $25 to get a an exterior wash and light wipe down of interior. Middletown Car wash is hands down better value for the money.

A local that’s been coming here for years. Very disappointed when I saw this after I left. Appears to be chemical stain. They didn’t even have the decency to apologize or at the very least make me aware. Not what I expect from a $80 car wash. Probably will be my last trip here.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! My car was a wreck from my dog and from taking a dog from the shelter on a little trip. It was full of dirt, mud, and pet hair (you can see in the before pictures). When I picked it up after getting detailed, it looked brand new again! I will recommend this place to everyone.

I’ve had a lot of mixed experiences at Hambletonian, but the crew finally won me over today. I made the mistake of driving my beloved Jeep Wrangler directly into a deep, muddy bog at sunset on a hair-brained photography expedition (marking the third time I said “I’ll never do this again without a winch” and then proceeding to do it again without a winch). When we finally dragged my poor bog-ridden Jeep out of the mud she looked like a swamp monster. When I rolled in to Hambletonian, they could have laughed. They should have laughed. But the crew stayed cool and gave it to me straight that cleaning her up would be a big job. They got to work, and communicated with me through the whole process. I can’t believe how much of the mud they were able to slough off, honestly. There’s still some muck on the undercarriage and they missed a few spots on the interior, but given what I presented them with the 5 stars are VERY well earned.

Stay away! I get a better car wash for 35 dollars at Goshen Car Wash. I pulled up and asked for a solid car wash. He told me 175. I said that seemed like a lot. I get a full body detail at goshen for 120. He told me why didn't I make an appointment at goshen? After a few questions and back and forth I we agreed to 100 he told me. He printed out a ticket for 115. Wasn't mad or upset. He didn't clean my trunk or wax my car which he shared he couldn't for that price. After I gave a tip without seeing my car. Stay away! 130 for this. My car was pretty clean before sadly enough.

Usually have a good service and wash but very disappointed with my last visit, I keep my truck pretty clean and while I wasn’t expecting a detail but paying over $40 fora car wash I did expect to get the services i paid for. The front compartments didn’t look like they were even touched and when I checked the back seat there was still some debris left on the seat. I should have checked the car before leaving and said something and that was my fault. The truck also had Sparta on mirrors, hold and streaks on windshield. I don’t know how some of these things were missed as they were pretty visible and only needed a damp rag to Clean. For the money spent it is not worth it and will use a competitor in the future

Decided to give this car wash another try after last time wasn’t a great experience, this time was indeed better but when paying at the front area the lady wasn’t that nice she was to focused on eating her “Lays sour cream & onion” chips and just mumbled the price and then didn’t say anything after and stared at us awkwardly. Otherwise the vehicle came out good with barely any water spots, definitely an improvement on how they do the car washed but now not such an improvement on the customer service when paying.

These guys are very fast and efficient. Do a fantastic job. Truck looks brand new again. They literally pressure washed the interior. Pulled everything out and wash them individually. And the customer service representative at the counter was Most Pleasant.

Great car wash, great service and great gifts. If you see a card or other gift buy it because it might not be there next time.

Paid $75 for their top tier service and it was not as expected. The wheels were not cleaned, vehicle still dirty and interior services were not performed as described. I spoke to the car wash manager who wanted me to wait back on the line to take the car through again but I was not going to wait for that. He said he steamed the interior but I watched and this was not completed. He said the wheels had build up that he was not able to clean. This was not true as I was able to clean them with glass cleaner and a microfiber. He didn’t even offer to wipe them off. For $75 , take your vehicle elsewhere to get the proper services.

I have been coming here for a few years to get my car washes and oil changes, and haven’t had any issues up until now. I drove 40 minutes away to come here because of how trustworthy and reliable they were when I lived in Chester. I brought my car in because rain water has been leaking into my trunk. I have a cracked taillight and asked if they could confirm/diagnose if that’s where the leak was coming from, or if it was a different problem. It took two hours of me waiting to go outside to get information on my car because I wasn’t receiving any updates. The worker said my car has been done, so I guess I was just waiting inside for nothing when I had somewhere to be. Another worker came about 10 minutes later to confirm that the leak was in fact coming from the taillight and that they patched it up and set parts of my trunk out in the sun to dry. They charged me $250 for “repairing my taillight” and “drying out my trunk.” My taillight is not repaired and my trunk is still soaking wet. I could have went anywhere else and not have driven 40 minutes to actually get my taillight repaired for the same price, or for much less! Instead I have a wet trunk still and a patched up taillight which I don’t know how long it’ll last. This visit feels like a waste of time and money and I regret coming here because I shouldn’t have been charged $250 for a quick messy patch job and to have my trunk still wet. I also waited for two hours and waited longer than I had to. I will definitely not be a loyal customer here any longer because I will not be returning. I don’t recommend getting any work done here at all because I was definitely charged for something so simple and easy and all I really wanted was a diagnosis.

Tonight is my son's prom and we decided just to get a quick car wash. Turns out I needed way more than a car wash. I needed a quick detail of the interior of the car. Came to the Hambletonian Auto spa in chester. What can I say... Simply amazing. The workers were dedicated and super helpful. Took great quality care of my car. As I got to sit in this beautiful little space and watch them clean it out. About 20 minutes after the wash, the interior detailing was done. My seats and the carpets were shampooed and vacuumed. The sidings of the doors were cleaned. If you're a mom with toddlers and a back seat you understand about the chicken nuggets and fries hidden between the creases of the seats. These gentlemen took complete care of removing everything in my car. Making me feel like it was a brand new car. Paid about $77 for the detail the car wash and a hot wax and shine. And I was blown away by the service. We'll definitely be coming back.
