Very bad people i got there exactly at 11.00 am and they said am sorry os closed and i told them that in google maps is at.2.45 and he said we just closed now..exactly 11.00 they didnt allow me to dump and they not even answer phone calls
It’d be great if the hours of operation were updated on Google, and there was an easier way to turn around when you pull in and realize they’re closed.
I bring my residential trash here once or twice a month. But about one out of every 8-10 visits for some reason I’m not “allowed to throw my trash in the residential areas” and have to drive to the back and wait in the long line of commercial garbage trucks with my few bags of trash and back my small trailer up to here and unload it. Not sure why it randomly changes all the time out of the blue for me but it will add an extra 30 minutes or more in my drop off time unexpectedly because “today the rules are different”. Makes no sense and me being back there with my personal vehicle and small trailer to throw some bags out is not the safest move but if they tell you something you have to do it even if it makes no logical sense or you won’t be allowed to dump your trash.
When you close your scales at 11AM but the Google site says you're open until 2:45 pm , that's deceptive at best. I wasted time and money driving my trash there because you were"open".
NY is terrible. I was turned away @ 2:30 because that’s when the scales close. Was told it’s because they get audited and could cause violation or shutdown from the DEC. So I wasted 40 minutes of diesel in the air because this place is open til 2:45 but not the scales. Can’t believe the regulation nonsense in NY. I don’t even believe this to be true. It’s too ridiculous to believe, but then again, this is NY, land of rules because these people hate their freedom.
