I appreciate the honesty of Mavis’s employee Ken R. because he’s been someone I can trust to give me a correct diagnosis and not target parts I don’t need. He never up sells the service knowing that people are paying with their hard earned money and don’t have any to waste like other shops that will suggest services they may not need at the time. He makes sure that I am comfortable with the service and completed it in a reasonable time. I actually feel so comfortable with him that I follow him from shop to shop because he understands my needs with my vehicles and I have 4 vehicles to maintain. I give him 6 stars for being a good guy and helping me for many years now.
I brought my car in for an oil change a little closer to closing than I'm usually comfortable with. Ken at the front desk tended to me and got me out of there within a half hour or so. Even set me up with a hearty coupon discount. Very efficient and professional!
Nice guys! Our trailer tires got loose on our trip and we had to pull over here. They came out and helped tighten everything up to get us home safely. It's good to know the people here care about the families behind the wheel. Very much appreciated!

I originally got my wheel alignment done from the White Plains Mavis, but they did not do it correctly and my tires were wearing out much quicker. So I came to the Nanuet location and explained to Chris what my situation was. Chris made me aware that the wheel alignment warranty was out of the three month window but still accommodated and honored it. Chris explained to the tire technician what my situation was and made sure that I did not leave the shop without being fully satisfied. Chris was super calm, extremely accommodating and very understanding to what I was looking for so that I can have my tire life last as much as it possibly could. Chris thoroughly explained to me why my tires were wearing out quickly, which was caused by faulty control arms. Chris’ customer service was absolutely fantastic and truly unbelievable compared to the other Mavis‘s that I have been to. I would highly recommend coming to this location and I now refuse to go to any other Mavis besides Nanuet in the country.

Call It on the phone. An appointment. Same day came in and they honestly did not want to sent me tires. Because my tires are brand new, and then I was hey, you know, I'm looking for more snowproof all weather tires, that's why I'm here, and they helped me out. It only took like literally 2 hours 30 to 40 minutes, choosing a tire, and then I think an hour and a 1. To put it on

I’ve gone to this location in the past and it was a mess so today I decided to give it another shot, I went in and they have a new assistant manager named Chris. Needles to say this place has done a complete 180! I went in today for some tires and He was very knowledgeable , he walked me into the garage to physically show and explain to me what different parts of the suspension needed attention and what still had life. He was very fare and did not seem like one of those sketchy guys that are behind the counter trying to just get a sale from you. I will be returning solely because of how knowledgeable and friendly Chris was.
Eric was extremely helpful in getting my front brake pads fixed as well as the rotors. The entire staff was both friendly and patient and took the time to explain to me the work needed to get done. I would recommend anyone needing these services to go to this Mavis location.
I went to a diff Mavis for the SAME recurring issue of which they kept telling me there was nothing wrong with my tire that kept deflating. Pulled up to THIS Mavis, no appt, they took me right away, did a thorough diagnostic and found the leak, fixed the tire and I was out in no time! Matthew at front desk and the technician in the back are AMAZING!! So grateful to them especially as we approach Thanksgiving and for an stress-free, careful ride! Thank you Mavis!!
2 stars only for Mavis because with proper training at the front desk, the experience could have went so much better. I was informed of the price per tire but never informed of the add on per tire: balance ($25/tire), TPMS ($10/tire), recycle charge ($10) until after all work was done. Costco includes these add-ons plus the hazard insurance. I declined the insurance because it would have been an additional $26/tire (again, I found out after all work was done). I informed them that I want a budget friendly tire because I plan on selling the car in a couple years. The tire they sold me was for a 65,000 mile rating (Goodyear all weather assuarance) when there are other tires available at the 40,000 mile rating. He signed me up for the Mavis Credit Card but never gave me the print out with my credit limit and credit card number - (I would need this information later when filling out the online rebate special ($100 gift card) when you purchase more than $599). I should have just signed up on my phone myself. God knows what he did with my social security number. When work was done, I asked another front desk rep for my receipt. He printed out a work-order instead that did not include any prices. I had to return to get the receipt printed out as I would need that for the other rebate (Goodyear tire rebate $60, when you purchase a certain Goodyear tire). Front desk never informed me that I would be eligible for both rebates. I had to find this out on my own. Customers with less OCD would never know. When filling out the rebate online, it asked from the first 4 and last 4 number of the Mavis card, since I didn't have it, I called the front desk and he put me on hold. Since I was going back anyway to get a print out of the receipt, I saw him leave the phone on hold as he was working with another customer. Taz told me to call customer service to retrieve the credit card number as nobody at the front desk could provide it to me. I said today is Sunday and I said are you sure they are open, he said yes, I called and they were closed on Sunday. I will call tomorrow.
Today, I visited this location to have a tire repaired after discovering a nail in the tread that was causing a slow leak. My vehicle was received by a technician named Joni, who inspected the tire and informed me that it could not be repaired and that both rear tires needed to be replaced. Due to time constraints, I was unable to proceed with the replacement today, so I requested that he reinstall the tire so I could return at a later time.
When I got back into my car, I noticed that no air had been added to the tire. Both the air machine gauge and my dashboard displayed a pressure of 13. I went back inside to speak with the technician, and although I simply asked about the oversight, he responded with unnecessary attitude and insistence that he had put air in the tire and that it was a fast leak, from 45 PSI to 13 PSI in a matter of minutes? So, I refilled the tire with air and drove home and the PSI is still at 45 PSI!!! What could have been a minor issue became much more concerning due to his demeanor.
As a regular customer of this location and of Mavis, I was disappointed in the level of service I received today. The manager on duty was professional and apologized for the situation, which I appreciate. However, consistent customer service should be a priority for all employees, not just management.
Great experience! Was there 2 weeks ago to pickup some new tires and the young man at the desk was exceptional. Not only was I greeted as soon as I entered the store they made me feel welcome and were very attentive to my needs. Today ,I went back to get my regular service, the same 2 employees were at the front end, too bad I don't remember their name. Mavis ,your Nanuet store on 59

Everyone is extremely kind - they are are so helpful. The way the head manager went out of his way to help me was incredible. He is a great leader to his staff, more than a manager , he’s a coach to them they work like family. The front desk dude is so kind , there is this other dude anytime I need air he’s always there and helpful.
I had a great experience there with Rob and Alexes. I had a tire that needed to be replaced, and it's an unusual kind, but they solved my problem and had me out of there within a couple of hours. Also had my oil changed. They alerted my to one issue, but didn't push to have it addressed immediately. They seemed very honest and personable. Also I was able to go in same day without a long wait. They had a handful of customers and nobody had to wait long.

Made an appointment two days ago online at 9am today Sunday , is been 2h after and my car still sitting outside, looks like is first came first serve, what a joke fellas, very disappointed with this service and lack of professionals in this mavis store, this guys just have one of the worst workers at the counter is Vincen always with no gains to work), please avoid waste you’re time here and playing with you’re time. (Adding pictures of the damage to my rims today) I expect more than I refund for this honestly, smh.
TYRON IS ONE OF THE GREATEST people I’ve met by far in my 17 years on earth. Extremely friendly and likes to talk about cars….. Thank you for helping me with everything guys. I appreciate the help and for discounting me a lower price than what I thought I would pay.
