Went to the competition down the road and was left standing and waiting until I eventually left. Went to this location and the gentleman helped immediately and tested my battery within minutes. Very happy with the CS here. Thank you

Great customer service staff is very friendly and helpful One guy who used to be a mechanic gave me a tip on my project that saved me from having a fire under the hood Somethings are over priced Sometimes there is a wait on the line But overall staff is way better than auto zone across the street. Which is why I would go there for all my needs Big shoutout to my man that drives the Red Honda absolute legend and the rest of the team!!

I'm here right now, and the guy behind the counter is refusing to test my car battery, in fact he told me to take it around the corner to Auto Zone get it tested, them come back to them a purchase a battery. Come on man, autozone. personnel are going to take the time to test my battery. shane, then I'm just going to buy a battery from them just because a better customer service. while waiting, I spotted the battery tester sitting right on the counter.

I’ve lived in Nanuet for years, and this has to be favorite place to get my auto supplies from. The first time I ever set foot into this store almost 5-6 years ago I was welcomed with open arms by Bruce and his team. Bruce is one of the best and hardest working employees I have ever met. Not only is he one of the most kind human beings I have ever come across, he is dedicated to always making sure I can find what I need. He is always looking for ways to guide his customers and save them money when choosing between parts and different products. Bruce and all of the friendly faces I have come to know at this specific store are the reason I always come back!

Out of all the service shops in the area, Bruce and the team at advanced are a step above the rest. He and team are always willing to help and very knowledgeable. The nanuet store is always my first choice for parts and supplies.

Bruce is the absolute man!!! I always show up about 5 min to close not purposely!! But he always hooks it up takes his time with me and hooked me up with something that I didn’t know existed and made my car run amazing . Tim helped just as much they made me feel so welcome they forgot they were even closed !!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If there were a crown for customer service, Bruce and AJ would be wearing it! I came into Advance Auto Parts with what I thought was a small issue—just needed help replacing my wiper blades. But Bruce and AJ? They treated me like I was coming in for a full Formula 1 pit stop. Bruce is the GOAT of wipers. The man had me sorted out before I could even finish my sad little sentence about “I think I bought the wrong size.” I almost hugged him—but I didn’t want to fog up my new blades from the emotion. ? AJ is basically a car wizard trapped in the body of a young guy. His knowledge is borderline spooky. Like, “how do you know that off the top of your head?” kind of spooky. Dude’s gonna be running the auto world someday—mark my words. Honestly, I left wanting to break something else on my car just so I have an excuse to come back. (Kidding... mostly.) This team is it. If you're looking for help with your car and want to leave laughing, learning, and feeling like royalty, go see Bruce and AJ at Advance Auto. Long live the Wiper Kings! ?? ---

This place is slowly changing for the best. It gets allot of customers and I understand it could be overwhelming. The workers at this location for the most part acknowledge me and ask if I need help. The store is looking better. Overall they are knowledgeable when looking for parts and are very helpful. I would recommend this place and remember be patient. The problem today is that customers don’t have patience. If there is a line and only 2 cashiers you need to be patient and wait until they are available. Great experience overall.

Horrible service. I needed a battery for my. Car and was ready to purchase it asap. Only problem was, the customer service was nonexistant. Two men behind the counter, talking with another gentleman back and forth, they looked at me and kept on talking. I waiting to be acknowledged, as I didnt want to interrupt. I ended up walking out. I wouldn't have minded waiting if at least one of the workers had said hello, I'll be right with you. I took my money and almost dead battery over to Auto Zone, was greeted promptly , had my battery checked, purchased a new one and had it installed, by helpful young gentleman. That was my first and last time visiting Advanced Auto.

Went and bought a spray can about 5 days ago. Never ended up using it because I bought extra. I went to return the extra and the guy said the can has been used and all this other B.S. I can assure I never used the can. In general the staff is not very friendly. I wouldn’t say rude but they just are not nice and have a bit of attitude.

Went in there since my brake light was on and I wanted assistance to see if my brake fluid was low. The employees working told me the brake fluid level won’t affect the brake light and offered no help looking at the fluid level. I was the only customer in there so they weren’t busy. I took my car to a mechanic the next day and the light was in fact caused by low brake fluid since I had a leak. They dismissed my concern and offered no help.

I came in here for a battery installation. The employee that try to help me because in reality all he did was give me attitude and rudeness explanation of why they don’t install batteries after dark which I get but there a way to explain that or atleast let the customer know because online it does not say they won’t install it after dark. Anyways I HOPE JAMES GETS A BETTER JOB WHERE GE ACTUALLY ENJOYS WORKING. Won’t be returning to this store ever again or will be shopping at advance after this experience.

Went in to pick up wiper blades that i had ordered online a day ago. The lady behind the counter was busy on her cell phone and never acknowledged my presence. Gave the lady a printout of the order. Took her a good 10 minutes to figure out how to look up the order in her system. I then asked if someone could help me to put the wiper blades on my car to which she said there's only two of them in the store and she can't leave the counter (cell phone) The other guy is busy picking orders. Okay is there a manager i can talk to? An elderly gentleman who is the manager comes up and i asked if i could get some help in installing the new blades. He came out and helped me right away. I was really impressed that he would do that when it was pouring rain outside. Kudos to him.

Four people behind the counter today at 5PM, yet none could acknowledge my presence for quite a while. One complaining that it was time for him to go, one on phone laughing loudly, one doing nothing, and finally the one that decided to help me did not know how to do store returns requiring more delay. During this time, the one on the phone kept insinuating to all his coworkers that the automotive fluid bottle I was returning must have been opened. Yet it was clearly sealed. Repeated this over and over again without any respect for me, the customer. No apology given. Does anyone here have any clue how to work and run a store in a professional manner? Clearly not. I would give no stars if I could.

Went in looking for a tool the website says is in stock and available for pickup at this location. Asked for help locating it. Guy "helping" me just kept repeating "I don't have that, I don't have that". He didn't bother to look on the computer or physically for the item. I told him the website shows it's in stock he said "that must be to ship it to the store" so I showed him on my phone it is in stock for pickup today. He continues to proclaim "I don't have it, I don't know where it is" without ever looking. Thanks for wasting my time, AutoZone had what I needed.

Horrible Store, first visit the counterman, chatting on a cellular with no interest in me waiting at the counter. He had no idea what OEM parts were, they lost a $4-500 full brakes kit sale. Second trip, counter man was on a cellular again. I needed a simple cigarette lighter adapter, he looked while on the phone. I will never return, this is a poorly managed store.

Since this place opened I have tried to support its business. I would get great personable business, and always supported it when I could. Decent parts for average prices, and sometimes would have parts in stock that other locals did not. Freaking sweet. I went in and bought an o2 sensor recently. Autozone 15 secs away had the same Bosch sensor in stock. It cost $100, and I know I can get the same exact sensor from Amazon or Rock Auto for $40ish. I bought it anyway to support the small local spot, and so I would have it if I needed it for the job I was doing. When I bought it I noticed the cashier (whom I did not recognize) stamped something on the receipt. I did not pay attention to it as a lot of smaller places stamp "Sold" on receipts with the current stra. Ended up not needing the part. Never opened the box, and the box looked brand new. They would not accept the return. They said the receipt was stamped with no-refundable due to being an electrical part. When bought it no one stated to me it was not returnable (pretty lame to me). And in my experience of building/racing cars for 10 years I have never had this happen to me. If it was stated no-refundable I would not have bought it as a spare part to have at a job. Despite being a normal customer they would not take the $100 return. I drove to the Advance Auto in the next town over and they took the return because the box clearly was not open (big ups to them). I understand company policies exist. At the same time I was a loyal local customer from opening day, and clearly was asking to return something that wasn't opening. People who work on mechanical things understand that you buy parts in case they are needed. Stamping "non-refundable" on an o2 sensor without saying anything is scummy. I'll spend my money at Autozone/Autopro/Miele's. Guess that is what I get for trying to support the smaller local business.

Ordered a part called every other day for a week to see if it came in. I finally went to the store and they said the part had been sitting there for days. I'd been to the store prior and had a great experience with Joey. When I picked up the part, Joe told me he had been on vacation the week I was waiting for the part. He is great. Once again, he went out of his way and helped me install my rear tail light assembly. Thank you Joey.
