i needed a new windshield wiper and installation. Jimbo, who assisted me, was terrific in his explanation of the wipers I purchasedperb., how they would work, etc. He was superb.
Battery brand new in box was missing a vent cap to hold acid in the battery. Battery failed immediately after charging. Won’t waste time with die hard batteries again.
The manager, Collin A, is one of the most helpful individuals I have ever met.he went above and beyond for me, This young man is a GM in the making. AAP give this gentleman a raise.
This might be the worst/most incompetent store on the planet. I needed to return an online order because the majority of the items ordered were not in stock at this location. Simple enough scenario right? WRONG, I was refunded for LESS than what I had been charged! When I requested that I be refunded for the full amount seeing as how I never even left the store with any merchandise I was belittled by the employees with snarky unhelpful remarks, NO attempt was made to help resolve this issue.... finally after several attempts the employees acknowledged that I was in the right but also just shrugged and told me to call customer service if I wanted to resolve the issue. This store and company as a whole is doomed and I will NEVER shop or purchase anything from Advanced Auto ever again. I only wish negative stars was an option.
Very nice and helpful people work here. Yesterday my car wouldn’t start and I had no idea what to do because that’s never happened to me before. My parents told me to come here to get a new battery, so I did. I was very hesitant because I’ve heard stories of car people taking advantage of young girls and charging them extreme prices because they don’t know about cars. However, this wasn’t my experience here at all. Angelo was very nice and changed my battery for me without skipping a beat. His expertise was very apparent. A horrible experience turned into a pleasant one thanks to these guys! I definitely recommend coming here, especially if you need a new part in a pinch. Definitely the first place I’ll go to if something happens to my car (knock on wood) in the future.
I was giving someone a system demo and one of the employees threw a fit and said he was calling the cops 😂 chill man. It's advanced auto parts, not a fancy restaurant. Oh I almost forgot something here. The employee said that I get 10 dollar store credit for disposing my old battery but I only received 5 dollars credit
Super nice guys and helpful and glad I found this place while I was visiting a friend in Carmel and needed some Auto things. Easy access and plenty of parking right at the door. Definitely recommend if you need auto supplies etcetera.
Very knowledgeable staff that is always happy to help you find what you need. They have a good selection of car parts and tools at decent prices. Make sure you check out the circular for when they're running deals especially for oil and filters. Save myself a lot of money coming here.
They saved me over $75 dollars on hardware for an exhaust. AUTOZONE was charging me $108 and change for the exact thing!! And the dude at Advanced actually got from behind the counter and helped me! AUTOZONE did not!!!
Our Chrysler Town & Country started stuttering on our way home from my mothers place. We made it to Advanced Auto in Carmel Hamlet where James checked it and said we had a misfire on cylinder 1 and an evap leak. He had the parts in stock and an assortment of tools to use so I could change the sparkplug and coil in the parking lot. It got us on the road again, headed for Maine. Our mechanic at home will deal with the evap leak.

Great staff. My car's engine was making sounds. They diagnosed it for free, sold me the right parts. They let me replace the spark plugs in their parking lot (probably saved me $300 in labor). The car still had some problems and needed to be towed, but these guys let me wait in the store and parking lot as well as use the restroom while I waited for AAA to tow me to a trustworthy mechanic the guys at Advance auto parts suggested. Although I couldn't fix my car by myself, they still saved me a bunch of time and money, all while being super hospitable. 10/10 would recommend going here. Great group of helpful and kind people. Thank you!

Plenty of employees there to help me, and was approached more than once and greeted as soon as I came in. I was rung up fast and the girl ringing me up offered to put my wiper blades on my car without me having to ask. She did it in 5 minutes. Good service overall.
I like Advance. Always willing to help you out. Last visit was for wiper blades and they helped put them on. I've been here many time for different things from parts to cleaning/waxing products. They take used motor oil.
I have been going here for years and typically got great service. Today I went in and there were 3 employees working. Nobody said a word to me in 10 minutes, which is fine with me, but when I went to pay for my items one of them was re-stocking shelves while complaining to the world in general about their cell phone not working properly (not working too hard, are you?) and 2 were BSing in the back. I fake coughed, tapped things on the counter, called Hello a few times while I waited there, credit card in hand... They kept BSing like they were in a barber shop. So, I left everything on the counter and went next door, where they happily took my money. Thanks for wasting my time on a Sunday. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because of past experiences that were positive. If I based this review on today only it would be negative because they wasted my time, while they wasted time BSing, and now will waste their time putting back items I would have gladly bought. I'll go next door from now on. They work there.
Kenneth & Devin were courteous, professional, & respectful. They helped me immensely with finding the part for my car even staying after 9pm. They both are true assets to your company. They both go the extra mile and should be promoted.
Good store, been going here for years. They have everything you need for parts or can order it. Plus you can borrow specialty tools O2 sensor removal sockets.
