If I could give 0 stars I would. I showed up at 5:42 p.m. with a few bags. I was told to come back tomorrow. I told them but the sign says they close at 6 pm. They said we begin cleaning at 5:30 p.m. and do not want to take any more deposits after that. They then began throwing my bottles and cans aggressively into containers. I would never go back here to redeem deposit.
I brought a trailer full of recyclables. The guy came out and ripped a few of the bags open, and because only a couple of the bottles weren’t redeemable he turned me away. I drove 45 minutes to come here I told him I would take away all the non redeemable cans, bottles etc. he refused to take any of what I had. And left me with ripped bags to deal with.
Had to change my review cause the first time we came here we were treated good and everyone was nice then when we returned a few other times it was a horrible experience the owners when u would complain about anything it was very hard for them to understand us and we them so it would never get resolved so we just left it alone the only reason we go today is the fact they changed their rules now they want u to count the bottles and cans and bring them in bags all accounted for u get paid and out the door which is a much easier process so in and out in under 10mins thank goodness I can handle that much better 👍🏼👍🏼
New rules there are signs on the door that you will walk right past.. the woman was accommodating but clearly annoyed. the new rules are...everything must be in a plastic bag and already counted, glass needs to be seperate, good thing is there is no wait bad thing is you do all the messy work by counting and separating all to get our 5 cents back,
This is the worst place for customer service. The owner’s wife is extremely horrible for customer service. I do not recommend this location. This is the town that I protect and serve and the mistreatment is disappointing!
Tried here three times. First time the guy made me wait about half hour while he ate his lunch then shorted me about half my returns (even had the audacity to take "his cut" and lay it on top of the register while giving me my shorted return,) second time wasn't bad, the guy was nice and counted correctly, third time the girl told me there was a 300 bottle max?? Just ran to Beer World down the road which had an automatic counter, no wait and was much better of an experience.
