Avoid delivering here everyone have attitude it’s a zoo very bad management I checked in at 1 AM. She told me to get out of facility yelling in my face and come back at 2 AM exactly on my appointment time. It took me one hour to find parking.

2:00 a.m. apt. Checked in @ 1:30 a.m, got a door @ 3:30a.m. they started unloading @ 5:15 a.m. The forklift driver goes in so fast, hits the break so hard that that I'm bouncing up and down laying down in the sleeper. I'm on a $900.00 short run in route to my backhaul in Brewster,NY & I'm already regretting my decision. I won't be able to make the 7:00 a.m. pickup appt of my decent load and my trailer is taking so much abuse that I'm afraid I'm gonna need to replace a few broken crossmembers.

What a trash place. 3:00 AM appointment, checked in at 2:30, didn’t get a dock until 5:00. 17 pallets to unload and they still weren’t finished by 9:00 in the morning. This garbage warehouse should shut down as soon as possible and stop ruining people’s lives

They stand on business there policy is strict as they can no showing up early no showing up late plain and simple there’s drivers backed in the waiting lanes and there’s drivers leaving patients is key in this place … also the entrance does say truck entrance the other says employees only Now there fees are up there 260 if ur late 500 if they have to reschedule you … first time being here No complains just wish they can get rid of there fees system would be back if u get this far hit a like for my review Also no over night parking site is not that hard to find also this picture can save u time there’s no turn around …. I got hit with a late feee just trying to look out for yall

In my case, I got lucky. My appointment was actually at 2, not 1. I was unloaded in about an hour and was free by 4:56. I waited a bit and slept while they were doing the paperwork, but overall they put me in a door pretty quickly. Total time at the dock was around two hours, and once unloading was done, everything else went fast and simple. I can’t speak for others — this was just my experience.

Nice people, they will only let you 1 hour before your appointment time. They start at 11 pm

-1?⭐️ This place is extremely poorly managed. They only let drivers enter the yard 30 minutes before the appointment, and they check you in at the office exactly at the appointment time — not a minute earlier. Even if you arrive on time, you still end up waiting for no reason. The staff is unorganized, communication is terrible, and they show zero respect for drivers’ time. The whole process is slow, chaotic, and frustrating. One of the worst facilities I’ve dealt with. Drivers should avoid this location if possible

I arrived at 1pm for a 4:30pm appointment and they told me to come back up to an hour before my appointment. They wouldn't let me wait on site but they have lots of parking. I returned an hour early and they still made we wait at the gate for 30 minutes! Eventually I go to the receivers office and it's slippery when wet so I almost fell twice! They need to put mats down before they catch a lawsuit. There's 5 people in the receiver office but nobody can help me. The receiver is like 30 minutes late for my appointment. I arrived to the receiver office first and they let another driver who came after me get a dock door first. I had a 4:30 pm appointment and they didn't start unloading me until 6:30pm. If I have my choice I will never come back here again. Capstone should be paying me for the inconvenience!

It's as all say, jammed and chaotic lot, took me 45 mins of waiting for trucks to move before I could dock. Receiving will not take your bills until 5 mins before your apt. time, but security did let me on lot 1.5 hrs early. Long wait on time for a 130 apt., got bills back at 815.

Had a pickup 11/21/25 and was prepared for the worse given all the negative reviews. Arrived at 6am expecting a line with a possible 1.5 hr wait. (No line) Checked in @ 6:15am for an 8am pickup. Parked on the left between the dropped trailers. Pickups are near door 8 & deliveries door 25. Got a door at 8:22am & out at 9:12am

Please stop ? coming here, no oversight parking, can’t check in before 30 minutes while there is a huge line trying to check in which took me 1 and half hours. Guard shack is not where you check in door 41 is where you can can check in but of course you will arrive late to check in office and it depends sometimes they take you and sometimes they don’t while it’s their fault. Get prepared for 4-7 hours wait and make sure you ask for detention form otherwise you will be illegible for detention. Yes restroom available once you are pissed off you will pee a lot. ?

Read all the comments and was prepared for the worst. Showed up .5 hour early, checked in at 01:00. Was given a door within 15min. Yes, trucks everywhere and it’s a very busy lot but if you have your chit together it’s not too much of a problem. Be patient and you’ll get out alive. Long time processing with lumpers and what not. Didn’t get outta there til 05:00 but it is what it is. TA had parking for me when I was done.

I usually don't believe the reviews but this place is very very bad. I think the people working here are doing as best they can do but it's very unorganized it needs some new management or something. Wanted to be courteous and not arrived too early because of what the review said. So I got here 10:43 pm for my 11:30 pm appointment. The guard shack had given permission for UNFI carriers not their own trucks permission to come in the exit Lane of the entrance. A few trucks got caught in the intersection blocking the whole road upsetting the Force Freight, local traffic and police. Then once in, the around 10 trucks that cut around me coming in were flying every which way inside. Only to be told to leave and come back. I do NOT recommend coming here until something is done to correct the craziness. It reminds me of Aldi's Distribution near Lansing Michigan before someone organized that facility inbound process. Now that is a joy to deliver to. Maybe UNFI should check with them.

Can here for a 2300 our appointment take a left go around and park the truck and walk in the door 42.. yard dog ending in 1005 I believe the ship was just about over screaming and yelling and swearing I just smiled and said I'm sorry said all you'll be sorry you're going to spend a lot of time here I'm thinking of myself really adventure Time the office staff were very pleasant beyond Time going to upset the employees I don't think I did anything wrong but security guard said go up and take a left and go around the building I don't know who he thinks he is but yelling swearing screaming my opinion should be reprimanded (yard dog) ending in 1005.. needs anger management classes Other than that few hours is normal lumper fee depending and on pallets how many etc

Total chaos here, trucks all over the docks area making it difficult to either stage or get into a dock door. Can't check in earlier than 30 minutes before your appointment time. Avoid at all cost....

Otr drivers, receiving doesn’t open till 10:30pm. They will not allow you to sit on the property. 30 minutes prior appointment so don’t show up at 9pm with a 4am appointment and wonder why they won’t let you in. There’s is absolutely NO parking around and good luck with the truck stop at 9pm

Delivered 17 pallets to this facility . Had a 4 am appointment . My experience wasn't as chaotic as some of the reviews I read . My check in went pretty smooth but on the other hand the unload time was around 5 hours or so . I made the best of it as soon as I got a dock door which was about 15 minutes after checking in I went to sleep .

terrible place to deliver your cargo or refrigerated freight-(they hold you hostage and a long line forms after you e deliver the goods -And dealing with detention pay so far -got here at 10pm and it's 5:26 am and still no paperwork or no bill of lading .Take my word -do not do any deliveries here - very slow and unprofessional employees -Terrible facility for a truck driver

Got hear early with no more driving time, no place to park till my appt time. 2 hours early. Most chaotic check in with no guard house, just a bunch of kids running around telling you to leave and come back 15 minutes before appt time or they will call 911. 100 trucks rolling in all at the same time, cops writing tickets in the street....stay away from this receiver !!! Took 6 hours to unload and get ppwk....no detention because they stamp your ppwk received when you check in !!!

My 1st load here delivered Wednesday 8/20/25 20:30. I arrived 8pm, immediately went to recieving, then immediately to door, lumper handled over phone via Capstone, empty and handed paperwork at 21:20. I tried to deliver a day early on Tuesday and the driveway was backed out onto the road. I don't know what happened.

There used to be order in the parking lot here. It's a complete mess now.Nobody keeps order. Drivers park wherever and however they want. Block empty parking spaces. Once unloaded they do not leave the territory. Now you can't get in or out. You stand in the line for 30-45 minutes and then you get fined.

Do not show up more than 30 minutes before delivery appt time or will be sent away. Very long line to check in at gate so it's a crap shoot if your gonna be late. Expect 6-8 hours to get unloaded and wait on capstone for paperwork. Absolute chaos at this facility with trucks maneuvering around and Yard jockeys flying around them. No overnight parking.

Absolute Garbage Receiver—Avoid Like the Plague! This is hands down the worst receiver I’ve ever had to deal with—complete trash from top to bottom. The people in the shipping and receiving office are miserable, lazy, and flat-out disrespectful. They act like doing their basic job is some kind of favor to you. The level of incompetence and disorganization here is off the charts. To make matters worse, they’ll rip you off with one of the highest lumper fees I’ve ever seen, and for what? To sit on your ass for 6+ hours while they drag their feet? It’s a total joke. Management must be either clueless or just doesn’t care, because no self-respecting operation would run this way. Honestly, this place is a lawsuit or accident waiting to happen. Drivers—do yourself a favor and stay far, far away. No load is worth the aggravation, disrespect, or wasted hours you’ll get stuck with at this dump.

Not a bad place if you get here on time , get here 30 minutes before your appointment time and you’ll have a dock and out in less than 2 hours. Yard is super crowded and backing can be challenging with trucks crawling all over the place.

Well i was worried after reading all the comments But 1 am appointment Got there 12:25 Out by 2:55 All they want is that u don’t try to check in earlier then 30 mins. Alot of drivers were told to leave

Most of the reviews on here aren’t wrong. I had a water load delivering here at 12:15 am (Midnight) on Tuesday, I arrived to UNFI at 11:40 pm but before I could even turn into the receiver entrance there was at least 20 trucks trying to get in as well all the way out from the main street which is totally unsafe for other traffic who had to cross through the middle emergency lane just to get by. The line moved very slowly and at times would stop still for a couple of long minutes. Finally at 12:55 am (1 Hour and 15 minutes of waiting to get in) you get to the gate and two guards are there checking you in and they will ask you what time is your appointment. I told them 12:15 and thanks to the long line now I’m late but they didn’t seem to care but if you are earlier than your appointment just tell them your appointment is earlier than it actually is (they dont check) so you can go inside their yard and park across the receiving entrance door (Door 41) with all the other trucks. Once in the office the staff there take their lovely time to check one driver at a time. I got called for a door 1 hour later and to no surprise the door was taken and still being unloaded so I had to go back to office so they can find me another door. I got unloaded at 5 am and after paying Capstone Lumper Fee via phone I finally got my paperwork and was out by 5:30 am. So overall, not a good experience as this place is disorganized and in no rush to get you out quickly, they are strict with appointments though so make sure you go early to avoid the long line mess or they will fine you for being “late”. They only get two stars because they have a big clean bathroom where the office is for truck drivers and enough room to park and back your truck to a door. Also a TA truck stop down the road but I don’t think I will ever be back again.

1 hour wait at the gate line. They’re VERY strict about checking in only 30 mins prior to your appointment, late fees (even if they’re the ones causing it) and wearing a safety vest. Absolutely no overnight parking btw. The safety vest only makes sense with how shambolic this place is tbh. LOL and I love how the police came to ME as I’m waiting in line to turn right into the drive way. Meanwhile there’s trucks parked on the right turn lane contributing to the traffic in addition to the guard shack holding up the line. Staggering the appointment times would help and oh a more efficient check in process.
