I'm so glad I went to this location for a few things i needed help with getting fixed on my car. They even charged half our rate for something instead of an hour. Completely reasonable prices, super friendly ladies in the front greet you as you enter. Really nice waiting area. Very knowledgeable and was ready to help me whatever i needed. We'll be back for anything I need on my vehicle.

If you ever want to know what rock bottom feels like with a price tag stapled to it, go ahead and call Quietly Towing. In my personal experience, these guys managed to turn a simple moment of need into a masterclass in how to bleed a stranded driver dry. I was charged $300 for three gallons of gas yes, you read that right and another $70 for the privilege of the driver hanging around for about twenty minutes. The whole thing felt less like a roadside assist and more like somebody flipping your pockets inside out just to see what falls out. There was no empathy, no humanity, no “hey man, rough day, let’s get you moving.” Just cold transactional energy and a bill that looked like it came out of a fever dream. In my opinion, this business doesn’t help people; it profits off desperation. When you’re already stressed, stranded, and vulnerable, the last thing you need is a company that sees you as a walking invoice. If you’re anywhere near Montgomery and need real help, do yourself a favor: avoid Quietly Towing. My experience with them was the exact opposite of what anyone should go through on the side of the road.

John from quality went out of his way to grab valuables that I didn’t notice at first glance. He seemed very experienced with crash sights, vehicles and was genuinely concerned that we received retrievable items. Our experience was more than appreciated. I thank you John for all your help!!!

Repairs and maintenance services have always been completed properly and in a timely fashion. We have always found their pricing to be in line or better than other outfits we have used in the past for everything from oil and fluid changes to new tires and diagnostic work.

I’m shocked at the incompetence and lying. They listed needing front brakes in order to pass inspection on a failed inspection report handed to me yesterday. As you can see from the picture, the pads haven’t even come down to the wear line, and it is ludicrous these would be on an inspection failure. They shined a flashlight in a tire that was not taken off and noted rust on the center of the rotor and that it would be metal on metal friction. In New York the procedure is you have to take a tire off during an inspection, not just shine a light through it. And this is not even close to metal on metal. The pads have a lot of wear left and when I checked them later that day (by actually removing the tires) the rotors didn’t even have grooves or warping. Totally unnecessary work. I got it inspected and passed at a place down the street. I’m surprised at the incompetence and lying at something as simple as determining brake wear. If they can’t get something that basic right, how can you trust them for anything else? They also failed due to rust on the subframe. The subframe is not part of a NY inspection. Go elsewhere for an inspection that actually follows procedure, and I feel sorry for anyone that actually goes here for a real repair. The quote I asked for was $125 to do the front brakes labor only because they knew I already had the parts. I didn’t put the brakes on myself yet because when I had previously took the tires off, I saw they weren’t needed. The quote was $1,200 for the subframe. All unnecessary for a NY inspection.

I went for a headlight replacement and inspection. Short wait! Comfortable waiting room. Large TV. Looked like complementary coffee but I didn't have any myself. I would recommend this place.

Do not trust Quality. I knew exactly what needed to be fixed on my car and asked them to take care of it as I didn't have the tools on hand. They told me they would not touch it unless they fixed all these other things totaling almost $1000. And then had the nerve to charge a diagnostic fee when I'm the one who told them what the problem was.

I dropped my car of for an electrical issue fearing the worst. Luckily, they had it resolved at minimal cost within an hour. Heather at the front desk kept me informed the entire time. I would absolutely recommend them for all your car maintenance needs

MY hussband and I broke down on I84 hauling a trailer loaded with a car. Two tow trucks hauled our trailer and the vehicle to their shop and then assisted us in finding a place to have the trailer repaired. The kept our vehicle stored overnight safely during the repair process. The cost for two trucks was more than fair especially given the fact that they took care of a very expensive vehicle as well. The whole crew was amazing. I'd use them again.

We were on Route 84 headed east and hit something that punctured our tire. Found Quality Service Center using Google Maps. We found it to be a new shop, extremely clean and with a very comfortable waiting area. They took our car in immediately, and the repair was done very quickly. I assumed we'd pay around $75...was handed a bill for $14! More than a fair price! Thank you!

First class, top shelf. Reliable, trustworthy and honest! A rare practice these days. Bob and Cindy are by far the best in the tri state area. Heather at the front desk as well! Highly recommended business! Took care of my vehicle and had me on the road within hours!

A very quiet staff indicates to me that they either not doing business or they have more than enough to focus on I thought the latter. My toyota broke down on the throughway they responded quickly and the gentleman took the car to thier facility. the lady Heather was very respectful and was very forthright about the terms and She was a comedating to my issues. A overall good shop.

Parts were missing off my car And no one wanted to explain what happened. Also didn’t wanna give me back my car and kept telling me to just give them the title and charged an insane price to tow it about 5 minutes. I had my own tow driver grab it and they were upset and charged a high price for storage even. Awful company run by worse people

I had my bearings rotors and brakes done because I didn't feel like going through the headache. Apparently the bearings were rusted so bad that it took them 5 hours to get them off. Bob was really cool about it and didn't charge me for the extra labor. The price for everything was pretty reasonable, the parts plus not that much extra. I'm gonna go back and get the front done, great experience.

Rudest receptionist or whoever it was that answered the phone! Even the way she answered the phone was rude and gave me an attitude when I asked questions.. ruined the whole thing for me. Also I got my car towed one time and the guy who drove me wasn’t friendly at all but more importantly they tried to tell me that my car was totaled, it was unfixable and that I needed to hand over my title to them.. I said no and got a second opinion at another shop, the other shop was in fact able to fix it for a good price and a year later I’m still driving my car. So the people at quality must have not even taken the time to try and look to fix they just wanted me to hand it over to them so they could sell it for themselves since I have a very reliable popular car.

For this review I am going to stick to the facts, without commentary: 1) On Thursday, November 14, at 6:56 a.m. I hit a deer on Albany Post (Walden, just north of Angry Orchard) the State Troopers called Quality Towing to tow the vehicle. 2) In speaking with my insurance company, it was determined the car should be towed to Superior Auto in Montgomery. The insurance company called Superior Auto and spoke with them at that time. 3) We informed the driver for Quality Towing, in front of the State Trooper, that we wanted the car towed to Superior Auto in Montgomery. 4) On Monday, November 18, I received a call from my insurance company informing me that the car was not at Superior Auto. 5) I called Quality Towing at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 18 to ask where my car was. They informed me - for the first time - that my car was in their lot. Between Thursday, November 14 and Monday, November 18, I was never notified that they kept possession of my vehicle. 6) In the call at 1 pm on Monday, November 18, I asked why the car was not taken to Superior Auto on Thursday, November 14 as had been requested at the scene of the accident, and I was informed it was because "No one was [at Superior Auto] to sign for the car" (which was known by us to be untrue as the insurance company had spoken to folks at Superior via phone at approximately 7:15 a.m.) The representative from Quality then tried to "hard sell" me on allowing Quality to repair my car, forcing me to repeat several times that I wanted my car repaired by Superior Auto as I had originally requested at the scene of the accident. 7) Quality Auto charged $1,500 prior to releasing my car to another tow company on Friday, November 22, who had to come and tow the car from the Quality lot in Montgomery to Superior Auto in Montgomery - $400 was for the original tow, and the rest - $1,100 in "lot fees," "administrative fees," and "gate fees." ETA: Subsequently, when I put a review on Facebook, the manager, Bob Reynolds, responded in a hostile manner: it was my fault that the driver never asked me for information or spoke up when the Trooper told us to leave in front of him; it was my fault they therefore had to keep my car - although the reason vacillated: first I was told there was no one at Superior to "sign for it"; then it shifted to being because Quality has a policy they don't "tow vehicles to shops without prior arrangement for payment"; then it was Superior's fault because "it is their instructions to us not to bring a car to them unless they call us directly" (which, per Superior is not only untrue, but they have a drop box in order to leave cars even after hours); and finally that it was Superior's fault because it was incumbent on them to call Quality and ASK for the car to be towed there, I assume in the 15 minute window in which the car was actively being towed. Also, he claimed they were not trying to "hard sell" me on having them repair the car but just "explain that it is my right" to have them fix my car. Quality isn't just their name, it is the way they do business and what they put into every job they do, big or small. I've had all my cars serviced by Bob and his team for over 30 years. I wouldn't trust any repair to anyone but Quality.

I was in an accident and Was injured. My boss while I was on the scene called quality confirmed they would take it my mechanic and confirmed they had my number and my mechanics number. I even gave them the address of my mechanic. The cop stayed behind while I went in ambulance to tell quality it was my car. They had my insurance, my phone number and my mechanics number. My boss confirmed with that multiple times that they had my number and were taking it to my mechanic. I called the next day After getting out of the hospital and they screamed at me over the phone. They (the receptionist) screamed I left the scene, they didn’t have my phone number, did not know who they were talking to and wanted me to pay over the phone right then and there. I began crying because I was traumatized and now somebody I didn’t even know was screaming at me saying I did everything wrong. I wasn’t at the scene because the cops and ems told me to leave the scene in the ambulance and I listened to them. I went to quality a few days later to talk about why they didn’t do their job right. They never took my car to my mechanic or even tried too take it to any mechanic they just took my car. He said he wouldn’t charge me for storage big whoop it costs them nothing for my car to sit there for a few days.oday I signed my car over to them with perfect tires among other things they would make money off of and they still charged me 135$ for towing from Montgomery to mayvrook less than 4 miles. They are horrible liars and took advantage of me. Do not go to them unless you want to make a traumatic situation even worse and be lied too.

Needed a tow about 60 miles on 87 South to the Bronx last night. Will, the road/tow tech from Quality in Montgomery, was great. Very patient while we sorted out our AAA situation. Excellent driver, professional & courteous. If you break down on 87 btwn M/M 75-55, Quality will be there to take care of you. If Will is your tech, he'll make sure you get where you need to go! Thanks Quality, you took great care of us!

New to area and needed a local mechanic for my automotive needs. Found QUALITY Service Center, in Maybrook, New York. BOB and his Dedicated staff and mechanics go way beyond any other service facility. They set the standard of what quality really is. They treated me like family and my vehicle as if it was their own. If you need a HONEST, FAIR priced service GO TO QUALITY SERVICE CENTER a 10 STAR EXPERIENCE.

We began a road trip across the country around 130 pm today. At 430 pm, we broke down on the side of 84. Bobby came to our rescue, towing not only our ford ranger but also the vintage trailer we were pulling off the highway and to Quality Service Center. He was so beyond helpful and nice, and was actually able to fix the problem and send us on our way within an hour. We met the manager Bob, and the receptionist, and I cannot offer enough praise. They so clearly care about their customers and providing good, quality service. Thank you so much guys!

I was in a pickle and I had to have my car towed.. I was so frustrated but the manager Bob Reynolds and his staff took such good care of me! They went over and beyond, making sure I understood everything that was going on. They are fair priced, honest and their service is of great quality.. no pun intended. Will definitely be going back!

On a long road trip, we broke down on 87 and Quailty Auto was there to save us. After a quick tow, we meet the knowledge and helpful technitions and office staff. Not only were they welcoming to our entire family for hours in the plush waiting room But they hustled to get our car fixed THAT day! They even called the next day to see if we made it home to Vermont. We have never had service like this!

Excellent, quick service for walk in diagnosis/repair while traveling down I-84. My family and I (wife and two young children) were traveling through NY when our minivan started shaking violently. We pulled off at the nearest exit, and were blessed to find this service station right off the exit. They were at lunch when I walked in, but the nice woman at the counter advised me to return in 30 minutes. I did so and was greeted by a mechanic shortly thereafter. He took my car right in and promptly diagnosed the problem as a belt failure in the driver's rear tire. He called me to the service bay to show me as well. He then gave me a price on a pair of tires. The price was good and I was looking to replace tires soon anyway, so I had them install 4 new Good Year tires. Another girl at the counter informed me of a rebate on the tires and even offered to submit it for me. The service bays and waiting area were both very clean and organized. The bathroom was even spotless. The staff was very kind and treated my family and I very well. There was even complimentary Dunkin' Donuts, candy, and Keurig Pods for coffee. I wish I had a service station like this where I live. They'd have a customer for life!
