Comparing with other wholefood stores, this is like a mama papa wholefood grocery store , if I had other choices nearby, I’d never shop here , it’s a terrible experience. Except the staff working there they’re very friendly and nice.

I hate to leave a bad review at a favorite grocery store brand of mine, but this one deserves it. I went into this Whole Foods specifically to try the $35 Family Meal deal after seeing great things from a friend at another location. I was excited to test it out and share it with my small following. What I walked into was… underwhelming. The protein selection? Two lonely chicken cutlets and a tray of visibly dry grilled chicken breasts — which the staff themselves described as “very dry.” Not exactly premium prepared foods. I asked if I could take the two remaining cutlets and complete the four protein portions with grilled chicken. The employee was kind and didn’t see an issue but had to get approval from the manager, Jocelyn. She immediately said no — no explanation, no flexibility, no attempt to offer a solution. But here’s the part that really stopped me. When I asked what would happen to the two remaining cutlets, I was told they would be frozen and put back out the next day for sale. So we’re freezing prepared foods and re-selling them as fresh the next day? That’s not the quality standard most of us associate with Whole Foods — especially at their price point. For a brand that markets freshness and premium quality, this felt disappointing and honestly misleading. Needless to say, I won’t be purchasing prepared foods from this location again. Just sharing my experience so others know what they’re paying for.

Small aisles. Small spaces at checkout. Absolutely crazy on the weekends. Nice upscale selections but of course very expensive. Only came here cause I needed something quick and didnt want to drive 15 min to where I usually go. Nect time I'll drive the 15 min. Wish this area had more affordable grocery stores.

Not only the worst Whole Foods I've been to, it was universally an unpleasant grocery store experience. The aisles and checkout are spaced so narrowly, when you reach around to get your wallet out of your pocket or purse at the checkout, you bump into the customer checking out parallel to you. There's no room anywhere. Also the shelves were severely picked over. They should close this location and start over.

The only place to buy air chilled slow grow chicken after Trader Joe's has no longer supplied the similar chicken.

I love being able to get the types of products I need at Whole Foods but be warned - the Manhasset store is crammed with really narrow aisles unlike the store I frequent in Manhattan. Thankfully, delivery is an option.

It has most selections however this store is smaller than other whole food markets. It can get cramped and line can become long. I wish this location would expand a bit.

This is undoubtedly one of the worst Whole Foods locations. It is very small and outdated with limited options. The cashiers are in most part pleasant and happy looking, helps with the experience. Parking can annoying sometimes.

It's small and dirty. The bathrooms are dirty and broken. Too narrow isles. Lines are too long. All the other whole foods are much nicer!

Excellent supermarket for those who are careful about what they eat. The staff is extremely helpful when you need help. Mark is their best supervisor and Yudis is their best cashier.

“Bianca” from customer service was extremely rude and passive aggressive! She seemed irritated from the moment I walked up to the service desk. Instead of helping, she gave short, dismissive answers and acted like my questions were an inconvenience. I left feeling more frustrated than when I arrived. If this store wants people to keep coming back, they really need to improve the attitude and professionalism at the service counter.

I’m sorry I had to revise my review, but I’m not sure what has happened here. I have a little tradition of bringing my returns on a day I’m also doing some shopping, and today (11/18/25) was no different. Unfortunately, the experience was awful. The woman working the return area around 5:00 PM had to be one of the rudest, most condescending people I’ve ever dealt with. I was with a special-needs individual who needs to hold onto the cart for safety. The return area was completely empty — nobody else was there — so we brought the cart in. She immediately told me she would not help me until I removed the cart. He didn’t understand what was happening, so I had to move the cart back outside, hope nobody took it, and bring him back in just to finish the return. When we were done, I placed the small return box into the trash myself — I didn’t ask her for anything — and she snapped that she’s “not a recycler” and I needed to take it with me. I fully understand and respect store rules, but there is absolutely a proper way to communicate with customers. A customer eventually walked in behind me and looked shocked at how she was speaking, so clearly it wasn’t just me who noticed. Even though it was inconvenient, we left and drove the 6 miles to Trader Joe’s instead. If you live near this Whole Foods, I strongly suggest avoiding this location. Tight aisles are one thing — rude and dismissive customer service is another. There are better options nearby and better places to drop off returns.

Within this county, this location has to be the absolute worst one. The parking lot makes no sense and the entitlement of the customers is very apparent even before you enter the store. The layout of the store needs to be re-evaluated, as does the overall lighting, and the aisles are very cramped. For whatever reason, the produce options feel strangely limited. Other comments mention the staff being prejudiced against certain groups, which I am strongly inclined to agree with. Regardless of how staff may feel personally, it isn't great for optics (or for business) to demonstrate an attitude that black people are good enough to be part of the labor force, but then in turn to be nasty to the black customers. This isn't the outward energy or the case at any of the other surrounding locations. Any time I've made the mistake of bringing an Amazon package to return at this location, the package never actually gets processed/returned correctly, resulting in hours of going back and forth with Amazon customer service to dispute a charge that should have never been added had Whole Foods been less negligent to ensure that the returned item was properly processed for return and actually returned to their parent company. This location needs significant upgrades to make shopping here worth it or at the very least, a less annoying experience, especially given the prices of the products.

Please train the young man who was working at the deli counter on Sunday 11/9/25 at around 7:15pm. He did not change his gloves after cleaning the slicing machines and counters, to pack up some food for me. I took the food. But wound up not buying it. Too disgusted. A woman who helped me had come from another area behind the deli counter. She also had the blue gloves on. She helped get something else. But my experience with the other staff member made me wary. I wasn't sure about what she had handled prior to helping me. So I didn't buy that either.

Fabio working the amazon returns wad extremely rude. Always had a good experience at this store but he makes me not want to shop at this store anymore.

This Whole Foods really needs an upgrade! The Manhasset location feels small, outdated, and worn down compared to other Whole Foods nearby especially the beautiful new one in Garden City. It’s surprising that Whole Foods hasn’t invested in remodeling or rebuilding this store to match their usual modern standards. It’s disappointing to see such a big brand let one of their locations fall behind. Shame on them for not keeping up with the times!

Staff is a bit rude. I walked in with my amazon packages and very abruptly given directions to go to the back. Ok that was helpful in a way I guess. When I found the returns location, as I walked in I was yelled at by a staff person to leave my cart outside. Ok. Hello to you too. Where do I leave the cart? Where can I leave my packages as I can't carry them as I have an injury? I was then pointed to a dirty, wet cart where I placed my packages. Won't be going back any time soon.

Inconvenient hours. The store closes at 9PM, which is earlier than typical grocery stores in our area. It’s extremely inconvenient, especially for folks that work and commute. This store would he greatly improved if they extended the hours. Also, if you come anytime after 8pm, there is a mad rush of everyone hurrying to finish shopping before they close, which also causes long lines. Management of this store is very inconsiderate of their customers.

Smaller cozier Whole Food Market store compared to others. Amazon prime and Amazon shipping are always welcome here! Plenty of free parking!

I just came here to return some items I previously bought on Amazon. Everything was going well. The process was efficient and clear.

I was visiting a friend in nearby St.Francis Hospital& stopped into WHOLE Foods to return an Amazon purchase. I picked up some delicious cherries& a couple other items. The cashiers were nice& one even asked me if I had an Amazon account, providing an additional discount! His thoughtfulness was very much appreciated ?? ? ??

This Whole Foods is on the smaller side compared to the other locations on Long Island. Can feel cramped during peak hours. Not always well stocked, so I mainly use this location for Amazon returns or if I just need a few things.

In the last couple of years they have gotten worse specially the customer service team. They would not accept a return or exchange of 2 pricey beef jerky that tasted horrible and texture was worse. I know they have transferred some of their best workers to different areas throughout but what a loss for this specific location. Considering it’s one of the best producing stores while it being the smallest you would think that the team members should be trained better on CUSTOMER SERVICE. Now I would just rather take the trip to Jericho, westbury or haven’t tried yet Huntington. Also give the workers from produce a raise ! They damn well deserve it “WHOLE foods”.

Current situation on line at Whole Foods in Manhasset. Hiring more seasonal staff would be nice. If not, plan on checkout lines wrapped around the store.

Whole foods was considered a supermarket in a class of its own. Not on November 3, 2024. I like to sample new items and if they are good, I buy it in bulk. The new item I tried was a bourbon vanilla bean chocolate bar; photo enclosed. To my disappointment no bourbon flavor, worst yet no vanilla bean flavor (should be rich and robust). I bought only that bar as it was not good. "Buyer beware " is all I can say whatever is labeled is not necessarily what you get. The bigger disappointment was in myself, I had seen green meat in the meat department but still picked up the "red" ground beef because I was pressed for time to cook. The "red" ground beef was already brown in the middle when I opened it at home. That green meat should have been a clue. Green seems to be the color super markets are going for: like the green mandarins/clementines in a red mesh bag or green potatoes in a brown plastic bag. Or maybe the store manager is just color blind. Those are unhealthy produce that can cause bodily harm: eating green potatoes can give you poisoning from solanine. As a supermarket with people's health in mind let's do just that and get rid of that supplier. Everyone stay healthy and beware what you buy.

I bought this butter with missing piece, but I lost my receipt already. I called the store. They helped me to find a transaction with my credit card quickly and easy. Love the experience.

Whole Foods is my favorite place to shop. Since Amazon has bought it I feel the prices have been improved. The vegetables/fruits are organic and fresh, the meats selection is great and tasty. The sushi is delicious. The Manhasset location is small and busy so make sure you don't go during peak hours. Home Delivery is a game changer for me as I am a busy professional. I order once a week and never had any issues.
